My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights for valentines. We very much enjoyed our stay overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel and rooms were very clean and had all the amenities we needed. When leaving we were able to leave our luggage for just £1 a suitcase which was very convenient. For the price I thought the food was good quality, however if you are looking for more of a cooked breakfast this isn’t the place. The location was very accessible and we were able to walk to everywhere easily. However it did get very noisy from about 5 in the morning.

Der Platz ist sehr nahe dem Busbahnhof, das ist das Wichtigste. Sehr freundlich und nett Personal, Unterkünfte und es gibt immer jemand im Büro, wenn Sie etwas brauchen. Der Platz ist sauber, ein bisschen alt, aber immer noch komfortabel mit zu schlafen. Mein Kind ist so glücklich, obwohl es alles während des Besuchs regnete. Der einzige Nebenteil ist kein Kettle für heißes Wasser, wenn wir ein heißes Getränk wollen. Aber unser Aufenthalt ist immer noch eine angenehme Erfahrung für uns.

Die Einrichtungen waren gut. Es war ein ruhiges Einzelzimmer, und die Lage funktionierte perfekt für mich diese Zeit. Sie müssen Ihren Essen bekommen, da es kein Essen im Hotel gibt.

A decent accommodation for a short stay. The place even provides a mini kitchen space which was not initially advertised but was a plus! Customer service was extremely helpful in terms of confirming the booking and figuring out how the shower works - apparently you have to pull a “lever” to turn on the shower, running water does not immediately come out of the shower as expected. Besides that minor hiccup, super easy to travel from this place given that the Huddersfield Bus Station is less than 10 mins and is reliable and is directly opposite the University of Huddersfield which makes it feel safe for a solo female traveller. Check-in and checkout was easy given that you will have to refer to the email sent on the digital lock passcode for the building entrance and the room. There isn’t a reception or customer service desk - more of an Air BNB concept.

Clean and welcoming. Nice breakfast. Good value overall.

Es ist nicht flüchtig und die Bereiche des Hotels sind etwas veraltet, aber es war ideal für das, was ich benötigt habe, während ich Halifax besuche. Das Bett war komfortabel und das Personal ist super. Freundlich! Ich war sofort willkommen und sehr bequem, um Hilfe zu bitten, wenn ich es brauche. Ich würde wieder bei The Old Post Office bleiben. Top Tipp: Wenn Sie ein solo Reisende sind und die Zimmer nicht verfügbar zeigen, dann telefonieren Sie direkt The Old Post Office. Ich wurde gesagt, die Preise sind £48 pro Nacht für solo Reisende.
