Nestled in the lush highlands near Ella, my stay around Ravana Falls was nothing short of breathtaking. The property, often referred to locally as “Ravana Rabge,” perfectly captures the charm and serenity that make this region one of Sri Lanka’s most beloved travel destinations. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the stunning architecture and its seamless blend with nature. Built across multiple levels on a hillside, the structure offers panoramic views of rolling green mountains, dense forests, and the distant valley below. The design is both modern and rustic, with warm wooden finishes, open balconies, and large glass windows that allow natural light to flood in throughout the day. Early mornings here feel magical—the soft golden sunlight gently touches the hills, while birdsong creates a peaceful wake-up call. One of the highlights of the property is its beautifully maintained outdoor space. The pool area is particularly inviting, offering a refreshing escape after a day of exploring nearby attractions. Хорошие впечатления от отеля. Номер красивый, горячая вода, вкусный ужин и завтрак.Но, из-за того,что рядом стройка, вид из окна не соответствует фотографиям. Но,это к отелю не относится.

Although the location is a little inaccessible, that’s how the beautiful view of train coming out from tunnel can be seen. And the inaccessible location is overly compensated by the service, there is TukTuk to fetch you from Ella Town or Ella station when you arrive. During your stay, they fetched us back from Ella town after dinner around 9pm to the accommodation for the convenience. Also upon check out, they sent us back to Ella station. So, you can to enjoy the view in absolute nature without compromising the convenience. Absolutely love the place. Just walking distance to 9 Arch.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad bij dit hotel. De ligging is top, het ontbijt is goed en de medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk. Enige nadeel is dat het erg gehorig is in het hotel, waardoor je de buren kan horen douchen en je hierdoor vroeg in de ochtend al wakker wordt.

Dieses Gästehaus wurde von einigen Freunden wärmstens empfohlen und sie hatten Recht! Wir kamen am Nachmittag mit dem Zug aus Kandy an, und obwohl wir den Besitzer nicht darüber informiert hatten, wartete er am Bahnhof, um uns abzuholen. Es war eine kurze Fahrt zum Guesthouse, wo wir seine Frau und seine Tochter trafen, Tee bekamen und uns für einen Ausflug am nächsten Morgen zum Lipton's Peak arrangierten (um den Sonnenaufgang zu sehen - früher Start, aber toll!) Wir erklärten, dass wir Veganer sind , aber das war kein Problem, und die Dame des Hauses machte uns das tollste Abendessen mit mehreren Currys, Reis, Getränken und Desserts. Es gab einen kleinen Aufpreis für das Abendessen - und ich meine klein, vor allem angesichts der Quantität und Qualität des Essens. Lecker! Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber mit einem bequemen Bett und einem schönen Balkon, auf dem wir draußen saßen und einfach den nächtlichen Naturgeräuschen von Haputale lauschten. Wir hatten auch ein eigenes Bad mit schöner Dusche (bringen Sie Ihre eigenen Toilettenartikel mit). Wir blieben nur über Nacht, um Lipton's Seat zu besuchen, danach hatten wir das ERSTAUNLICHSTE Frühstück (mein erstes Mal, dass ich Kokosnuss-Sambal probierte, soooo gut!). Der Besitzer hatte dann arrangiert, dass derselbe Fahrer uns nach Udawalawa bringt, was 3 Stunden dauert? weg, zu einem vernünftigen Preis.
