I am glad I didn’t pay full price ($350/night) for this. Great location and everything looks nice from the outside and the lobby. The room is decent from the looks but once you stay in there, you will realized nothing is working properly. The AC/Heater was not working, the control for the AC/Heater doesn’t work so the AC was blasting cold air all night on NYE!!! So we were both freezing and it was 2am! The TV only have 5 channels and 2 are the same as the other 2, so in reality only 3 channels. The TV quality is also very outdated. Feel like we were watching TV from the 80s/90s when it was the actual 2024 NYE concerts. And on the 5th channel, it is just showing how DirectTV subscription is expired, like what? The Wifi in the room is not free unless you are a Bonvoy member. There was less than a quarter roll of toilet paper on the Tp dispenser and they also didn’t provide a second roll. The body wash pump was empty and the shampoo ran out. The bottom side of the toilet seat looks very filthy as if they haven’t clean that part of the toilet seat in a while. The floor of the bathroom was also very dirty. We usually check if we can ask for a late check-out the night before, but we called the front desk with no answers. When they finally answered, they said we have to call back at 7am to let us know. Ehh Hello? The whole point of getting a late check out is so we can sleep in? So I had to set an alarm to call back at 7am to get a 1pm check out. It was a bit annoying. This was a big disappointment for me because this was supposed to be a nice hotel from Marriott as the Autograph Collection. Especially for $350 a night in the middle of Old Town Alexandria, I had expected better quality. Not to mention the chaos during check-in. Seems like there were only 4 workers there for HUNDReDs of customer. People were angry about being stuck in the parking garage and no one can help them and they gave a lady a room that currently already have someone checked-in. Apparently the lady opened the door when the guy was showering in the room. What a chaos!

In der Nähe des Flughafens, Busabholung möglich. Da es weit weg von der Stadt liegt, ist der Preis relativ günstig. Um in die Stadt zu gelangen, muss man mehr als eine halbe Stunde in die U-Bahn umsteigen, was nicht schlecht ist, wenn das Budget knapp ist. Eine Seite des Zimmers liegt in der Nähe der Straße, daher ist es etwas laut. Nachdem ich mich beschwert hatte, verlegte mich das Hotel auf die andere Seite (ich bin auch Marriott-Mitglied) mit Panoramablick auf Washington. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt recht gut und der Service des Hotels war sehr gut!

War in der Stadt für 2 Konzerte ein Freitag Abend und der andere den ganzen Tag saß. Check-in war wegen der Reservierungen reibungslos. Zimmer waren sauber sowie Hotel im Allgemeinen. Ich blieb dort vor dem 23. März, so dass ich wusste, was zu erwarten war.

Sehr groß, sehr schön, die hohe Sicht ist auch sehr gut, es ist sehr gut, eine Unterkunft zu erleben, die Dinge sind preisgünstig, das Bett ist auch sehr groß, ein Bett ist nicht überfüllt, zwei Menschen schlafen nicht, das nächste Mal komme ich noch zu diesem Haus

Das Hotel ist überhaupt und älter, aber es scheint zu betreuen, die Räume in den Hallen waren schön und sauber. Eingang in das Zimmer war ein Problem, Sie mussten den Schlüssel in den Slot viele Male, bevor Sie ein grünes Licht zu bekommen. Das war jedes Mal, wenn Sie ins Zimmer gingen. Es dauerte 10-15 Minuten für das Duschewasser, um wärm/heiß zu werden, jedes Mal. Ich habe ein Königsbett gekauft, aber in ein Zimmer mit zwei Doppelbetten gelegt. Sie behaupteten, dass die gesamte Königsgröße gebucht wurde. Ich zeigte ihnen meine Bestätigung einer Königsgröße, die reserviert wurde, aber sie sagten, es gab nichts, was sie tun konnten, da keine Königsgröße Betten verfügbar waren. Der Preis war sehr vernünftig

The room was overall clean l, bed was comfortable. The bathroom wasn’t to my standards, around the shower it had built up dirt and the inside of the shower . The floor wasn’t swept in the bathroom at all. The sofa bed was broken so my daughter & I had to macgyver the bed to get it fixed.. overall an okay stay.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, der Service ist sehr gut und der Preis ist gut.

Das Hotel ist ein wenig schwer zu kommen und könnte bessere Signaturen in den Hallen, Aufzügen, Straßen usw. verwenden. Das Bett war komfortabel, ich war in Zimmer 419 und der Verschwindende Spiegel wurde auf einer Seite zerbrochen, und die Dusche zeigte Zeichen von Mold. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt, aber mir wurden keine Kaffeeschalen mehr gegeben. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht. Meine größte Beschwerde ist, dass ich bei der Buchung, beim Einchecken und am Morgen der Abreise einen späten check-out beantragt habe. Ich wurde gesagt, es sollte kein Problem zweimal sein, aber ich musste am Morgen anrufen. Als ich es tat, wurde mir eine Lane entschuldigt, warum sie es nicht tun konnten. Daher fühle ich mich, als könne ich nicht auf das Front-Desk-Personal vertrauen. Ich würde wahrscheinlich nicht hier wieder buchen.

On the positive side, the location is excellent - in a peaceful neighborhood, yet I was in easy walking distance to the Convention Center and lots else, with a centrol location for pretty much wherever you’d like to go, as well as decent parking options.  It is also a lovely historic property full of character.  On the flip side of being old, it seems that every door sticks when you try to open or close it and it is not friendly for those who need accessibility, with stairs here and there you have to lug your suitcase up.  Back on the bright side, the little black cat who hangs out around the place is adorable and sweet and made my day whenever I ran into it.

Rumme Zimmer. Fernseher. Ein bisschen dunkel und datiert. Kleine Frage, wir hatten keine Kaffeepacks für den Kaffeemacher. Ein sehr nett Mann im Büro gab mir einen. Wir brauchten zusätzliche Handtücher und die Lieferung war schnell.
