4-Sterne-Hotels in Wellington, Neuseeland

This was our third stay at the Copthorne and have always enjoyed it.  Very comfortable and friendly front of house staff. The big let down is mould and dirt on the floor around the outside of the shower wall.

Ich habe vor über 20 Jahren hier gewohnt, als ich in Welly studiert habe, und es ist immer noch so sauber und ordentlich, und der Service ist erstklassig. Das einzige Bedauern ist, dass die Autos heutzutage breiter sind als vor 20 Jahren, sodass die Parkplätze zu klein sind und es für größere Autos schwierig ist, zu parken.

Seriously lacking in hospitality. Asked for a latte at 5:57am and was told “ we don’t  open until 6am” No newspapers available. Bellhop service virtually nonexistent. Room service was good. Front desk agent untrained and unsupervised. No greeting upon entering the hotel or restaurant. Great mixologist at the bar.  Kudos to Andreas the only friendly person we met not really sure what his position is there but he was great, helpful and kind to two old ladies with multiple bags.  No hand soap in the bathroom and towels were not changed.  $45.00 per day valet car service seems a bit much given that there really isn’t another option. We stayed in a “superior double double “ Not sure what superior meant. One of the beds was hard up against a wall. Less than a meter between end of beds and desk/tv stand. Entertainment system did not offer any pay as you go options just a bunch of sky. No Netflix type options. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone and most certainly will not be going back!

Really conveniently located hotel and good sized room. Really lovely helpful, staff on reception. I had booked an interior room with no window so was pleasantly surprised to have a ceiling skylight. Unfortunately the surfaces and amenities (kettle, glasses, spoons) were covered in dust. I thought it might be a ventilation issue as the high window probably doesnt open, but when I ran my finger over the desk it was a thick layer so not sure it had been cleaned for a while. I was only staying one night so didn't bother complaining but did start wheezing in the night so wish I had said something. Easily fixed for future guests with proper dusting!

Ich rufe vor der Zeit an, um über den Parkplatz zu prüfen und sprach mit einem freundlichen Mitarbeiter mit dem Namen Hunter, der erklärte, wo der Eingang war und wie man den Parkplatz zugreifen. Wir waren beeindruckt von der Größe des Zimmers und der Einrichtungen. Die Lage war großartig und schien nicht viel Straßenlärm zu hören. Zimmer war schön und sauber nur etwas bemerkbar war einige schüttelnde Marken auf den Wänden und mit einem Sofa anstelle von 2 Armstühle wäre perfekt gewesen. Würde es sehr empfehlen, hier zu bleiben, wir hatten eine tolle Erfahrung und beloben Hunter auf so große Kundenservice

Wir hatten einen Riesenspaß, vom freundlichen Personal, den kostenlosen Speisen, dem Zimmer und dem ästhetischen Ort. Die Lage ist gut, Essen, Unterhaltung und Geschäfte sind leicht zu erreichen. Wir haben das Frühstück genossen, es lohnt sich. Etwas schade, der Pool wurde während unseres Aufenthalts nicht so gut gepflegt. Beim nächsten Mal hoffe ich, dass die Anzahl der Personen im Zimmer der Anzahl der Toilettenartikel (z. B. Zahnbürsten) entspricht, außer Shampoo, Duschgel, Spülung und Handseife. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und es Leuten empfehlen, die eine Reise nach Wellington planen. Daher ist der Ort warm und insgesamt sind die Einrichtungen und Dienstleistungen die besten.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der Johnsonville-Bahnhof, der bequeme Ort des Verkehrs, der umgebende Supermarkt, das schnelle Essen, das Ganze ist sehr bequem zu kaufen und zu essen.

Room 2209. Top floor King. TV has 4 Sky Channels with audio. Other channels have no audio. TV problems seem common as another guest was also complaining. Another customer had problems with the key card not allowing her to use the lift. Rooms are old and tired. It doesn't have a hotel vibe. It is more like student accomodation vibe. The extractor in the bathroom didn't work. The coffee machine is a nice addition. 2 capsules and small box of milk. Microwave was welcome, but it would appear some guests have been charged $1500 due to using it and setting off a fire alarm. It's time that the whole hotel had a refurbishmeb

A night stay in our own city. For a milestone birthday this was a perfect fit. 5 mins travel and we were there, smack in the middle of the city, we could choose which of our fav restaurants to go to without trying new ones and potential to fail, and our trip home was with our snapper card. Bar staff made us comfortable about not having a clue which wine to try. They were friendly but not too much. Atmosphere was great, buzzing and full of lots of seating options in the Puffin. Decor in room was very chic and moody and felt a bit like Melbourne, bathroom very lux and everything and more that you needed. Happy birthday to us.
