Oppdal is a quaint & charming little town. Our stay at Quality Hotel Skifer was a great refuge for a few hours, as we had to catch the early train in the morning. The beds were super cozy and comfy, toilet and room were very clean, and we had a lovely view of the mountain. Breakfast spread in the morning was akin to a five star! Well stocked and decent range of good items! I’m not sure who helped me with arranging the late check-in over the phone (a lovely lady!), but just wanted to say thank you for accommodating it! We were really able to get quality rest and reset our journey with a fresh mind!

Es gibt Parkplätze im Keller für 410 Kronen pro Tag. Der Boden im Zimmer war nicht sauber. Es gab einen Kellner, der den Teppich im Flur saugte. Es war seltsam, ihn zu bitten, noch einmal hereinzukommen und zu staubsaugen. Es war nicht sauber. Die Attraktion Altstädter Brücke ist nur 7 Gehminuten entfernt. Hinter dem Hotel befindet sich eine Flussattraktion. Die Lage ist sehr gut und das Hotel ist riesig.

I enjoyed my stay, and will stay again given the opportunity. The location to the airport and fitness center as well as to the military base was great. Our team was able to get a good night sleep. Then go work out at the gym and start the day off with a healthy breakfast. I strongly recommend staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer, kein Fluglärm, schöne Bar wo man sich wohlfühlen kann und ein ganz hervorragendes Frühstück es gab einfach alles würde es wirklich jedem weiterempfehlen .. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Trondheim .. 5 zum Flughafen

Great location, within minutes to St Olaf Square or Sentum, and the Cathedral. There are also a number of supermarkets and eateries nearby. The staff are helpful and friendly, and helped us to book a large taxi for our trip to the airport. The rooms are of an okay size, but the bathrooms are large. The rooms lack a safe, and the electrical points are placed in weird places like the floorboards, but there are many of them. The beds re comfortable and I found them too soft. But the room definitely needs more lights as it is very dark even in the daytime. Also, some of the doors have difficulty locking. In fact, one of the group had to switch rooms to a junior suite as they found their room door unlocked. Breakfast was very good and had wide options e.g. you could have hardboiled or sunny side up eggs with bacon, or the chef can whip up an omelette with ham and mushrooms. There were many choices of cereals, breads, meats and fruits. There was some street noise, also at night, as the tram stop is just outside. They also have automatic shutters, and this can cause some noise as they activate around 7 am. Overall, it is a good hotel in a great location.

Nice place in Trondheim centre. Easy to find and free night parking outside. The breakfast was very good and the room was small but clean. Best of all was that we stayed in the weekend but it was no noise from the people outside. So i recommend this hotel.

I was visiting Trondheim for one night during a recent trip to Norway. Lovely city and I highly recommend a visit! I was looking for a reasonably priced, well situated hotel and this fit the bill. The good bits. Great location. Less than 10 minutes from the central station and within easy walking distance of all the main sights of the city. The room was basic but spotlessly clean. Comfy and quiet. The not so good bits. Breakfast was not great. The continental spread was fresh and full of variety but the cooked bits were rank. Eggs crusty and dried out, bacon burnt and swimming in fat, beans were stone cold. It’s really not that hard to get right. For me the most disappointing was the team working there. I think they need to be reminded they work in hospitality. No one was rude, but the total lack of any form of welcome or congeniality was noticeable. They simply did not care to be nice or interested in the guests and this is something which really impacts the overall feel of a hotel. The only exception to this were the room attendants who always smiled and greeted you. In summary, worth a visit if you are looking for a central location, but if I had paid more than the off peak price I suspect I would have been left more disappointed.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Fjord. Ich habe die sagenhafte Aussicht von meinem Zimmer in der siebten Etage unsagbar genossen. Nur ein paar Schritte entfernt kann man in Ruhe und gepflegter Atmosphäre im grossen City-Center shoppen. Grosse Auswahl an Herren, Damen und Kinderbekleidung und ein empfehlenswertes Sport-Outlet sind dort u.a. untergebracht. Namsos ist nicht wirklich Beine Touristen-Stadt aber man findet durchaus sehr schöne Plätzchen zum verweilen. Das Hotel ist modern, die Mitarbeiter alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, alles sehr sauber und das Frühstück wirklich lecker.

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber aber nicht sehr geräumig. Dieses Problem scheint bei Clarion standart zu sein, da ich nun innerhalb von einer Woche in 3 Clarions war und jedesmal gleicht das Zimmer eine Legebatterie für Käfighühner. Das Frühstück hingegen ist ein Traum. Sehr grosse Auswahl und reichaltig. Wer hier nicht satt wird, macht etwas falsch. Super lecker!

Vorweg das Positive: Das Hotel hat eine wunderschöne Lage direkt am Fluss. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten kann man locker zu Fuß vom Hotel aus erreichen. Die meisten jedenfalls. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Negative: das gebuchte Zimmer war sehr klein und in die Jahre gekommen. Wir buchten daraufhin vor Ort ein etwas größeres Zimmer (Eckzimmer) mit bodentiefen Fenstern und damit einer tollen Aussicht. Die Betten waren gut, jedoch das Bad war eine einzige Katastrophe. So viele Dinge im Bad waren locker (Toilettenhalter, hing schief, Gummilippen für das Schließen der Dusche (mittig) waren ausgeleiert, der Kosmetikspiegel war defekt, die seitlichen Schrauben fehlten und der Toilettenmülleimer, der an der Wand unterhalb des Waschbeckens angebracht war, hing schief nach vorne. Ich habe alles am ersten Tag reklamiert. Es wurde ein Tag später alles erledigt. Meine Beschwerden hat man ernst genommen und den Aufpreis für das größere Zimmer mussten wir nicht mehr bezahlen. Sie habe es uns erlassen. Unser Zimmer lag im alten Trakt. Im neuen Trakt des Hotels wird bereits renoviert.
