Enjoyed my stay. Traditional tatami mat throughout and hence shoes are to removed at entrance. Only 5 mins walk to omichio market. I had a very good sleep and rest. The hotel offers osen, complimentary late night ramen and ice cream/yakult with manga corner. Convenient location where walking is possible to most attractions like Kenroku-en and Higashi Chaya District.

Rooms (3/5): For a family of 3 the room was relatively spacious and had no trouble handling us and our luggage. There is a decent amount of wall plugs with 2 in the room and a third in the seating area. They also give an extension cable with 2 sockets and 2 usb ports. The toilet is spacious and the bath is decent in size. Overall atmosphere of the room was calm and relaxing. Service (4/5): Service was exceptional, the receptionist introduced the hotel to us well and they had several pamphlet guides from how to wear a yukata to how to behave in an onsen and several others which was nice to havw. When leaving the onsen by car, they also wave until you are out of sight which is a small cherry on the top. Facilities (4/5): They have 2 onsens, mens and ladies which alternate daily. I only had the joy of trying one of them which was lovely and had a small cold bath outside which is a plus in my book. In the mainlobby they also have free flow non alcoholic drinks through a dispenser, having hot drinks like tea and coffee and cold calpis, coke, sprite, orange juice and water. Had a nice time after the onsen grabbing something sweet and cold then sitting in the lounge to cool off. Food (3/5): The dinner was lovely. They served a variety of food with the steamed horse mackeral standing out (this is coming from a person who does not like fish that is cooked besides when its battered). The seaweed and miso based paste also went lovely with the rice. Breakfast was also decent but nothing outstanding besides the pudding at the end. Overall 3.5/5: If you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city and just really want to kick back and relax this is the place to be. For me, this Ryokan is worth visiting again if I ever pass by. Nothing extremely exceptional but overall enjoyable experience.

Das Zimmer ist nicht groß, aber der Preis und die Lage sind großartig. Es liegt neben der Stadt Omi, mehr als 200 Meter vom Busbahnhof entfernt und nur wenige Gehminuten vom Kenrokuen-Garten entfernt. Der Preis von weniger als 300 ist sehr gut für Alleinreisende geeignet Reisende. Von Kanazawa aus ist es sehr bequem, nach Dongxunfang und Yuqing zu gelangen.

Brilliant boutique hotel with truly kind and amazing staff.  Only 15 rooms but the staff truly outsize the hotel in terms of what would wow me.  They really make you feel very comfortable and safe.  Great location to visit Kenrokuen! 

Dies ist mein zweiter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Ich habe ein Zimmer mit Schlafsofa gebucht. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass der Flur mit dem Badezimmer durch eine Tür vom Wohnbereich abgetrennt ist. Das Hotel liegt nur 10 Gehminuten vom JR-Bahnhof entfernt in einer ruhigen Gegend mit vielen Restaurants in der Nähe, auch spät abends. Es gibt ein öffentliches Onsen für Gäste, die es mögen. Ich habe dafür nie genug Zeit und bevorzuge private Onsen. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet, sehr abwechslungsreich und bietet eine große Auswahl. Ein Supermarkt ist nur fünf Minuten vom Hotel entfernt. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Kanazawa werde ich dieses Hotel wieder buchen.

Excellent location. right outside of the station, making taking the loop bus daily a breeze.  Easy access to shopping and food.   Breakfast buffet has so many options, both Japanese and western.  It definitely was one of the best we had.  The room itself is clean but a bite old.  Staff are all very friendly and helpful.  Will come back again!

Very good location for being close to the train station, although it's about a 35-40 minute walk to places of interest. There's a 7-Eleven right next door, and a more complete supermarket and restaurants at the station. The rooms are huge for Japan, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is standard for the country. The hotel has a well-equipped gym and a very nice reading room. They do not clean the rooms until after the fourth night. They are not flexible with check-in; for example, after our 4-night reservation, we rebooked another 4 nights, but they made us wait 4 hours between checking out of the first room and checking into the second room. I think they could have paid more attention to us, since we had booked with them again and on a regular basis, but they paid no attention at all.

Beim Einchecken können Sie Ihr Begrüßungsgetränk gegen ein kostenloses Geschenk eintauschen (wahlweise alkoholisches oder alkoholfreies Getränk). Sagen Sie einfach dem Personal an der Rezeption Bescheid, dass Sie ein Begrüßungsgetränk möchten, und man erklärt Ihnen, wie Sie es erhalten! Ich habe mich dieses Mal für Sake entschieden, und er war sehr mild; ich habe ihn wirklich genossen :) Die Lage der Unterkunft ist auch sehr praktisch. Der Omi-Markt ist weniger als 3 Gehminuten entfernt, und der Bahnhof Kanazawa sowie andere Sehenswürdigkeiten wie der Kenrokuen-Garten sind in nur etwa 15 Minuten zu erreichen. An einem schönen Tag ist es perfekt für einen Spaziergang! (An einem schlechten Tag hingegen ist die Strecke so lang, dass man sich vielleicht überlegt, den Bus zu nehmen, da die Fahrzeit inklusive Wartezeit ungefähr gleich ist 🤣). Der Flur im Zimmer ist breit genug, um einen 66 cm langen Koffer komplett zu öffnen, und ich denke, ein 71 cm langer würde auch hineinpassen! Das ist ein großer Pluspunkt in Japan, wo Hotelzimmer im Allgemeinen klein sind. Der einzige kleine Nachteil ist, dass die nächsten Läden etwas weiter entfernt sind. Wenn Sie also spät abends noch einen Snack holen möchten, müssen Sie ein Stück weiter laufen 🚶➡️

Wir haben unsere zwei Nächte im Mitsui Garden Hotel Kanazawa sehr genossen. Besonders gefallen hat uns das japanische Bad im 13 Stock, mit Ausblick über die Stadt. Auch das hoteleigene Restaurant kann sich vor allem am Abend sehr gut sehen lassen. Das Essen (wir haben uns für Shabu Shabu, japanischen Feuertopf, entschieden ) ist seine Preis wert. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, das Frühstück (westl. / japanisches Buffet) nicht im Hotel selbst, sondern in Partnerrestaurants im nahe gelegenen Omicho-Mark zu sich zu nehmen. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie der Kenroku-en-Park, das Museum für zeitgenössische Kunst oder das Geisha-Viertel Higashiyama-Chaya sind fußläufig erreichbar. Wir können das Hotel mit bestem Gewissen empfehlen.
