For two nights we didn't have hot water. We rang reception an spoke to the duty manager - the second time...He told us it was because there was a coach load of people staying who had all taken a shower/bath at the same time on their return, and we would have to wait until it heated up again. That didn't allow for the lack of pressure - a trickle! In the end we gave up - no shower/bath. However, the duty manager assured us that the manager would find us the next morning.... this never happened, On the Saturday night the same thing happened. The excuse given by the receptionist for the manager not having found us that morning was there was a wedding and all managers were needed - they didn't start their shift until 11am. The duty manager couldn't speak to us as he was working at the wedding - Saturday night - but Leanne assured us that she had noted our complaint and that she had written up notes, and our inconvenience (now not having hot water for two nights of a three night stay) would be reflected in our invoice on checking out. This wasn't the point. The stay was supposed to be a relaxing, super special treat, not able to have a shower or a bath at night was NOT okay! She assured us that on the third night the 'tour' party and 'wedding party' would have left. So we would have hot water. Which we did.
On checking out the receptionist had no idea about our complaint, and therefore couldn't help us.
We are in the process of writing a compliant, and a review. The staff and hotel did not let you down - the management did!

On another point, the hotel is described as dog friendly. This might be the case. You can bring your dog for a fee of £25 a night, however, on check in we were told we had to eat in the bar area or outside. Luckily the weather was okay. However, we felt like second class citizens! Not only that but the bar area has no tables at which anyone could eat a meal - the tables are all low and only fit for snacks!

GGastnutzerIt’s an impressive building so I was having some expectations. The room it was a bit dated in the newer part. Not many amenities as you can expect from this kind of hotel. The bar area is really nice looking over a fabulous garden and so the restaurant. On that note the food was areal let down. I have ordered a Thai green curry chicken. I was soo looking forward to this but when arrived it was a total disappointment. The chicken was probably a leftover from another meal, very dry. The sauce was nothing like green curry and the rice it was microwaved. The waitresses were very lovely and apologised and the removed it from my bill. They said that they have an agency chef! So it’s a real shame !!

YYuanIch kam am nächsten Morgen zum Versammlungstag im Birmingham Business Park zu bleiben, als ich benötigte. Das B&B war am Rande des Coleshill. Es war ein guter Aufenthalt, und nur um gut. Ich werde nicht dagegen sein, dort wieder zu bleiben, aber es gibt auch nichts Besonderes, um mich zurückzuziehen.
Plus: James wartete auf mich, als ich ankam und zeigte mir den Schlüssel und das Zimmer. Er nahm auch meinen Bestell für den nächsten Morgen. Das Zimmer war anständig groß. Es gibt viele Lichter im Zimmer. Das Bett war ok. Es gibt Parkplatz auf der Website. Das Frühstück war bereit, als ich ins Essenszimmer ging.
Minus: Auf £148 pro Nacht war das sicherlich kein gutes Geld. Die Anlage war ein wenig grundlegende, obwohl ausreichend (Tee/Kaffee/Kettle/Biscuits und Haartrockner). Es gab eine Flasche für Haar/Körperwasch und es gab eine kleine Seife im Badezimmer. Das Badezimmer ist nur ungefähr in ausreichender Größe für eine Person. Die Wassertemperatur variierte etwas während der Show, aber funktionierend.
Auch mein Zimmer war auf der 2. Etage, mit engen Treppen. Es war ok für mich, als ich sehr leicht reiste. Aber es wäre schwierig für jemanden mit großem Gepäck oder Mobilitätsbeschränkung.

DDawnieIm Landkreis Stratford in einem schönen Holzstrahlhaus. Das Zimmer war dunkel, aber geräumig. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer mit einem Doppelzimmer und zwei Einzelzimmern. Frühstück inbegriffen. Keine Menüs, aber der Kellner sagte jede englische Frühstückskombination, die großartig war. Ich hatte zwei Eier gepuckt. Das einzige Problem war, dass es keine Kommunikation über die übliche Route gab, um das Hotel wegen der Straßenarbeiten geschlossen zu finden. Das Navigieren eines Systems auf einer unvertrauten Stadt ohne E-Mail oder Anruf, um uns zu erfahren, wie wir zum Hotel zu kommen, war extrem stressig und setzt uns 1.5 Stunden hinter dem Zeitplan zu kommen. Das hätte gesortiert werden können, wenn das Hotel mit der Buchungslinie trip.com Kontakt aufgenommen und über Straßenarbeiten erklärt hätte, so dass ich warnend gewesen wäre.

SShowkat GanieThe room itself was generally fine, and the heating worked perfectly. However, we experienced a significant issue with the bathroom: the water would not drain properly, leaving the floor flooded. We had to use a wiper to push the water toward the sink and drain (images attached), which was very inconvenient.
Another surprising and disappointing detail was that no towels or soap were provided. These are basic essentials in any hotel, and since we did not bring our own, we were charged extra for them. This felt completely unreasonable.
Finally, the location is far from ideal. The hotel is quite a distance from the town centre, and public transport is infrequent, making it difficult to get around. Would not recommend!!!

GGastnutzerThe location was great - right in the middle of Stratford and ideal for a theatre visit. The room was small and pretty basic, but it was clean with comfy beds so fine for overnight. The communication from staff was great - no onsite parking but a clear explanation of where the nearest car park was (very close) and how to get the best price. Very helpful staff. Didn't use the bar area so can't comment on food or drink, but it was welcoming and there was a pleasant outside area. Tea / coffee and kettle provided. Clean if small shower room. Overall really good value for the price and would definitely stay there again.

GGastnutzerThis is our 3rd stay here . It is a brilliant hotel in a great location for a theatre trip. Every detail has been thought of in the rooms except for reading light for bed in Fig room which we’ve stayed in twice now . Light is so poor you can’t read in bed . However that was the only criticism on the visit - everything else was excellent. Cooked breakfast is a treat in the lovely dining room .

GGastnutzerDas Hotel ist ideal für eine kurze Reise nach Stratford auf Avon. Nur einen kurzen Spaziergang ins Zentrum.
Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und das Bett war groß. Parken ist einfach und reichlich. Nicht zu teuer.
Auf der Unterseite (leicht) gibt es keinen Aufzug. Aber nur 2 Stockwerke. Das Personal, das wir behandelt haben, war freundlich und hilfreich. Keine Probleme mussten gelöst werden. Wir haben die Freizeiteinrichtungen nicht genutzt.

XXueqingmeixiangSehr gutes Hotel, die Lage im Zentrum der Stadt, zu Shakespeares Wohnort fünf Minuten zu Fuß, der Garten und das Restaurant mit einer guten Umgebung, das Frühstück des Hotels, Kaffee und Bar sind sehr gut, das Zimmer ist auch sauber und geräumig, es lohnt sich wieder zu gehen!
