Ich habe ein Doppelzimmer gebucht, wie es mir war und mein Sohn endete mit einem Doppelzimmer . Für das Frühstück bezahlt war es so lange , um das Essen auf den heißen Platten zu bekommen, die sich für Dinge wie Brot , Bacon , Soßen gefragt für Gewürze, wie niemand links gesagt hat nein und war noch in den Frühstückszeiten . Die Dusche der Frauen im Pool waren sauber und musste gereinigt werden .

Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück und Abendessen im Palm Court Restaurant. Sehr angenehm Personal. Abendvergnügen jede Nacht. Große Lage mit Bahnhof direkt draußen. Sehr guter Preis für Geld für Meerblick Oberzimmer. Billigere Standardzimmer brauchen Aufmerksamkeit in Bezug auf Einrichtungen und Reinigung, aber immer noch gut für den Preis. Interessante historische Hotel.

The hotel and entrance are great, no complaints there. I’ve been a regular at another hotel within 5 miles of here, where the facilities are immaculate and the rooms are always meticulously clean. So I had high expectations. On walking into my room (250), it was freezing. I immediately turned on the electric radiator, but was woken up at 2am by the thermostat flicking on and off repeatedly. The digital screen kept lighting up and going off it felt like there was a rave in my room. Highly annoying and not conducive to a good night’s sleep. Before bed, I went for a shower and splashed foamy suds around as you do. After finishing, I was washing down the inside of the shower cubicle and noticed what I thought were leftover soap suds near the door handle. I went to wipe them off and I can tell you now, they were not soap suds. Absolutely disgusting. The previous occupant clearly lacked basic hygiene, and although it shouldn’t be expected, the cleaners really need to have a keener eye for detail. This sort of thing should never be missed. Ein wirklich schönes Hotel. Unser Zimmer war unerwartet MASIVE! 2-3times die Größe, die ich erwartet hatte. Eine Suite statt ein Standardzimmer! Sehr glücklich in der Tat. Komfortable. Warm. Großes Badezimmer. Ideal. 3min von der M6, 5min zum Stadtzentrum.

Das Hotelzimmer hatte nicht genug Speicher für die drei unserer Kleidung. Die Handtücher wurden nicht jeden Tag ersetzt, der ich sehr arme finde. Auch war auf einem der Handtücher ein Marke und meine Mutter fand es tatsächlich aufgerollt und wieder in die Lagerung im Badezimmer. Das war extrem schlecht. Das Personal war wirklich nett und freundlich. Ich fand das Hotel sauber. Allerdings, aufgrund der Wärmewelle und des Fehlens sauberer Handtücher finde ich diesen wirklich schlechten Service. Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Variante und war schön. Es war auch nahe Südpier, aber wirklich gut gelegen.

We had two rooms booked. 1 room was with elederly parents! The room given was a fair walk and was quite far from the reception area with no assistance only verbal directions. It would've been nice to have had some assistance from staff. When we got to the room the sink plughole was blocked so I rang reception to get it fixed, didn't happen! Questioned reception duty staff and he lied and he said he had it fixed by maintenance when no one even came to look at it! This isn't the service we expected from ‘Mercure’ standard. Leaning over the bath to brush our teeth and everytime we needed to wash our hands after using the toilet we had to use the bathtub. Not sure I read anywhere but to use the swimming facilities the adults have to pay £10 fee. Other than that the hotel is near local shops/motorway as well.

Fab place lovely lodges outside them could do with little clean but suppose it's nature the inside clean an homey all's u need is provided aswel the balcony was amazing way lead onto lake it's self so my son could b up close to ducks without being in water there is watersports shop bar restaurant playarea in an out crazy golf walking around lake is nice and central to go out exploring Windermere 30min drive and had an amazing day there also little chippy 5 min drive on north road think was called was lovely food and ok priced to

Billiges Hotel, aber Eingang, Korridore und Rezeption in sehr guter Dekorationsordnung. Es war ein Abschnitt über dem üblichen Autobahn-Service Hotel, hatte seinen eigenen Park und alternative Eingang / Ausfahrt zusätzlich zu den Zugang über die Autobahn. Ein bequemes Bett und eine gute ruhige Nacht schlafen.

We had a wonderful 4 nights at Thurnham Hall. The person who checked us in on the Sunday was very pleasant and welcoming. We walked the grounds and they were lovely and very well looked after.The Spa and pool were excellent. Thank you for providing such a lovely hotel for us to stay at and spend time visiting with our Lancashire relatives.

Easy to find. Parking a short distance from entrance. If you are in anyway disabled you can drop off my main entrance but cannot park. There is no lift in the hotel so if disabled you are going to need to ask for a ground floor room. I didn't know there was no lift so they had to quickly change my top floor room to ground floor room. They did this effortlessly despite being fully booked. The room smelt unpleasant so I kept window open and used air freshener. There was no remote for the TV and when they found a spare remote, the TV didn't work. They brought in a second TV and the manager was a hilarious man who made me roar with laughter as he tried to resolve the issues. The food was good. I stayed two days. I would come back.
