Wir gingen zum Royal Hotel, ohne wirklich zu wissen, was zu erwarten ist.  Es ist mit einem schönen Gebäude eingerichtet. Die Architektur ist schön.  Das Hotel ist in einer seltsamen Weise ausgelegt, aber ich denke, das hilft dem Charakter. Sie gehen in den Boden, gehen Sie zwei Etagen auf die Rezeption. Es gibt eine kleine Bar, die kostenlose Tee und Kaffee bietet.  Die Schluck- und Lettuz-Treppe bietet Ihnen 20% Essensfreiheit, wenn Sie Ihre Schlüsselkarte zeigen.  Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und wissen über das lokale Gebiet.  Die Lage ist gut und weil wir im vierten Stock waren, konnten wir nicht den Lärm für die Straßen unten hören.  Das Zimmer war ok. Klimaanlage im Zimmer mit Tee und Kaffee.  Jetzt zwei große Punkte, die ich gerettet habe...! !!  1. Die Dusche! Lassen Sie mich Ihnen etwas sagen, das ist wie ich in einem Typhon sitzen, Cardiff hat eindeutig kein Problem mit seinem Wasserdruck!  2. Das Bett, es war luxuriös, ich konnte so gesunken und schlafen so gesund! Wir brauchen dieses Bett für unser Haus!

Wifi in the room didn’t work I had to check twice with the reception but it didn’t work I had to go to the lobby to access wifi. Despite having allowed to check out at 1pm housekeeper still knocked on my door at 12pm. Receptionist gave wrong info about going to the city. They made mistake with my number of luggages. Very disappointed with this Marriott property

Das Hotel liegt in einem sehr schönen Bereich, wo es einfach ist, einen Taxi zu bekommen oder zu gehen überall in der Stadt. Das Mobilfunksignal war jedoch ziemlich schwach, und das Hotel WLAN blieb entschlossen - ich musste jedes Mal wieder anmelden, was bei der Arbeit sehr ungünstig war. Das Zimmer hatte einen starken Geruch von Gummi oder Leder, was mich krank machte und mir während meines Aufenthalts Kopfschmerzen gab. Die Dusche-Drennung funktionierte nicht richtig - kein anderes Drennholz im Badezimmer, und es überflüssigte sich. Ich musste das Wartungsteam anrufen, um es zu reparieren. Nachdem ich kurz auf dem Bett lag, bemerkte ich rote, juckende Pflaster auf meinem Gesicht, fast wie Insektbiten. Ich fand später heraus, dass starke Reinigungsmittel, die bei der Waschung des Bettes verwendet werden, manchmal Hautreizung verursachen können. In der Nacht schlief ich mit einem sauberen Handtuch über den Kissen und bat um ein frisches Bett am nächsten Tag. Obwohl mein Begleiter keine Probleme hatte, empfehle ich jemanden mit empfindlicher Haut, den Kissen mit einem sauberen Handtuch zu bedecken, falls es nicht möglich ist. Die Hoteldienstleistungen waren insgesamt nicht schlecht, aber die Lage des Zimmers und die Zuverlässigkeit des Wi-Fi sind sicherlich verbessert.

Das Hotel ist anständig, zentral gelegen in der Nähe des Bahnhofs, wo es einen sehr bequemen Aufenthaltsort macht. Personal sehr willkommen und berücksichtigte meine besondere Anfrage und reservierte mir ein ruhiges Zimmer, das geschätzt wurde. Frühstück, nichts Besonderes, wie jedes andere Hotel Frühstück im Vereinigten Königreich. Gute Aussichten auf das Frühstücksgebiet, Mitarbeiter auf der Hand zu helfen und oft aus ihrem Weg zu helfen. Dienst war 10/10. Die Zimmer selbst fühlten sich ein wenig alt und konnten mit einem Touch-up, aber komfortable genug für einen kurzen Aufenthalt! Kaffeemaschine auch!

Best hotel I've been to so far all the staff day/night was well mannered happy helpful joyful staff from reception to dinning down to the cleaners all have above and beyond with my stay from the moment I arrived made me feel equal as im disabled the lift access was easy to use helpful with my luggage straight away no waiting around reception was brilliant excellent communication got my room card really quickly no waiting around 3 lifts so plenty of access to floors my room was beautiful spacious easy access with quick card entrance with electric door just swap and the door opens for you with one press button to exit bathroom has all disabled access toilet bars shower seat with arm rests your able to move from side to side which helps getting to dry floor food was amazing from breakfast buffet massive selection you got to try the mixed fruit juices red and green flavour explosion have your great British fry up with a croissant and cappuccino for afters even had reserved table with easy access with out asking help with service if you want your breakfast brought too your room i highly recommend you stay in the Leonardo hotel for best stay on what ever your needs great tourist's while on your stay you have to visit the castle

We arrived just before check-in time and were allowed to go into a room, but the room had opaque windows. We booked over 3 months ago, just expected what we asked for, not first come put them in there. We then waited for another room, to then get a double bed and a fold away bed instead of two twin beds. Lots of old furniture nonsense which was now in our way as not enough space due to two beds. Beds were comfy but arrangement was not. The breakfast was very nice, could choose kippers if you wanted.

The hotel is a bit far from the city centre, about 15 min walk . The facilities in the hotel are good. I like the kitchen in the room and I can make my meals during the holidays. It's really amazing.The staff members are really friendly and responsive.The breakfast was really good too. Highly recommended to people who are going to Cardiff.

Hotel was very clean, plenty of parking. Staff were exceptional and as I had misplaced my glasses on day 1, they made every effort to locate them, which they did. I'd left them on the cold water dispenser when I when out. The meals in the restaurant where also excellent. Overall a satisfying stay.

I stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from the A/C can enter. It is shameful that they don’t have a breakfast included, especially for long stays in the hotel which is not so cheap and out of the center… at least one small sandwich would make things better, but nop 👎🏼. Another thing is that the area is not very nice. Unless you have to do something in that area, i don’t recommend you to stay. I was even told by taxi drivers to not walk around alone after it gets dark. Before I knew that, I did take a walk and it really felt a bit unsafe. The staff was ok, I didn’t have much contact with them. Only had an incident when I arrived - they couldn’t find me in their system (it was booked under other name by mistake but I actually changed it a week before arrival so I don’t know why they didn’t have updated information). There is a small gym, but almost all machines, except one, are for cardio exercises. Almost no restaurants or shops in the area.
