The hotel is an incredible building which must take some maintenance. We booked a double room for one night and arrived at lunchtime with the intention of sightseeing in bath for a couple of days. The hotel was happy for us to park all day both days which was great. The check in process (after 3pm) was very easy and we had a very clean room with plenty of towels, 2 robes and slippers for the spa/pool. The double room had a king size bed which was very comfortable. The hotel pool was crowded and looking a little tired but was as expected. The outside heated pool was very nice and relaxing. We didn’t have any spa treatments or use the gym but both looked well kept and the gym had good modern equipment. We didn’t eat in the restaurant preferring to find a restaurant in bath itself. Breakfast was a bit of a chaotic affair with several hotel staff doing various jobs with no apparent coordination. The wait for a table, then coffee was long and then we had to wait again to order breakfast. The whole process of breakfast took well over an hour which is poor. It was clear that there was no clear process as some tables were getting their cooked breakfast before us even though we were taken to our table 30 mins before them. The little waiter man with his paper pad was a bit useless. When the ‘full English’ breakfast came it was a small plate of well cooked food but not really as described in the menu. In terms of portion size it was more like a kids breakfast. We weren’t served any toast either and had to ask for it unlike other tables who received it with their drinks order which seemed a bit weird. The continental buffet was a bit scarce with no bowls or spoons so we had to use our fruit juice glasses for the yogurt and fruit. The whole thing could be improved with a breakfast buffet under a hot plate if they haven’t got enough staff to serve it.

A must-stay for Bath hotels. It is one of few hotels to have in-house spa facilities for guests to use for free. I liked the location too – it is next to the Roman Baths.

Insgesamt war ich sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist sehr gut und ich kann nahegelegene Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Das Zimmer war sauber und hygienisch und hatte genau die richtige Größe. Ich bin Ctrip sehr dankbar für die Unterstützung bei der Kommunikation mit Parkplatz- und Reservierungsproblemen. Sie waren sehr zuvorkommend.

Wieso habe ich dieses Haus zwischen diesem Hotel und einem anderen gefroren, das ich lange gewählt habe, vor allem durch Fotos von Trip.com Hotelzimmern, mit einem großen Fenster, das den Garten und den grünen Boden durch das Fenster sehen kann. Aber nach dem Aufenthalt fand ich, wo es ein Fenster auf dem Boden gibt, und ich habe mehr darüber nachgedacht. Ich weiß nicht, warum die reservierte luxuriöse Suite in drei Stockwerken geplant ist, das Fenster ist relativ klein und draußen ist eine Wand, ich kann im Grunde nicht sehen, wie das Zimmer draußen aussieht. Sehr enttäuscht. Außerdem ist die Zimmeranlage etwas alt und die Klimaanlage hat immer geräuschlos, sehr schlau, die Toilette ist groß, aber keine Heizung, die Badewanne ist sehr kalt und die Badewanne ist auch besonders einfach... Aber nicht sehr gut mit diesem Preis. Das einzige, was man bewundern kann, ist, dass sein Restaurant nicht schlecht ist. Einige der Gerichte, die wir bestellen, sind lecker.

I stayed at the most beautiful place yesterday — it truly exceeded my expectations. Although it’s in a slightly remote location, that actually added to the charm. The surroundings were stunning and peaceful, making it the perfect escape from the city. The service was absolutely five-star; everything was spotless and thoughtfully designed. Even the bathroom had massage features, which was such a luxurious touch. Every detail made me feel completely relaxed and taken care of. If you're looking for a hidden gem that offers both beauty and comfort, this place is 100% worth the visit.

Erstens sind Hotels sehr schwer zu finden. Apples eigene Navigation ist falsch. Zweitens ist das Badezimmer im Laden extrem klein und es gibt nachts immer noch Wassergeräusche im Abwasserkanal. Es besteht das Problem, dass im Raum Nr. 3, der zu spät gemeldet wurde und nicht von selbst gelöst werden kann, kein heißes Wasser zugeführt werden kann. Schließlich ist der Parkplatz klein. Obwohl die Parkplätze in Bath sehr klein sind, ist dies das einzige Hotel in Großbritannien, das mir 15 Pfund pro Nacht berechnet hat. Ernsthaft nicht zu empfehlen.

Lovely place and lovely people. Great customer service/care, great greeting, and what a lovely room, too. I loved everything about this place. Location is not the best (over the hill) but has great views of the city. Breakfast is good and the whole place gives you a cozy feeling that you'd like to stay at this lovely B&B more. Stayed for one night but would certainly choose this place if I get back to Bath again. Thanks.

The room was spacious and in excellent condition. The staff were all friendly and made sure our stay was remarkable and we will definitely be staying here again.

Das Hotelkennzeichen ist nicht klar, die Aussehenfotos sind nicht mit der Online-Einstellung vereinbar und es ist schwer zu finden, zu fahren. Das Buchungszimmer ist völlig anders als das auf XC eingeführte Zimmer, die kleinere Fläche. Bitte senden Sie vor dem Aufenthalt auch eine E-Mail-Kontakte, wenn Sie nicht innerhalb der vorgeschriebenen Zeit zu verfügen sind. Die Lage des Hotels ist noch gut, etwa 16 Minuten zu Fuß vom Attraktionen entfernt. Das Zimmer ist sehr gut eingerichtet, es gibt viele verschiedene Frühstückssorten und ist auch sehr lecker.

This is the second time we came to this hotel. The rooms are lovely but especially in the Superior rooms, there should be a comfy sofa chair as the ones are in the room, you can not sit more than 10 minutes. Jean-Luc was very helpful and kind, he is a great host
