1. Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage, nur 50 Meter zu Fuß vom lebhaften Flussufer entfernt. 2. Die Hotelzimmer sind sehr gut, mit hellem Licht, sauberen Badezimmern und Vorhängen für jedes Bett. 3. Das kostenlose Frühstück des Hotels ist sehr reichhaltig. 4. Machen Sie abends einen Club daraus, in dem Sie trinken und Musik hören können.

Location was good: close to Casa da Musica and the main Boa Vista roundabout. The apartment was clean and big enough for a couple nights of stay. The only issue we experienced was the door code system. When we arrived at the property on the first day, the main entrance door was open, exposing the building to theft. On the second day, we couldn’t open the main entrance door using the code provided. (The code worked on the first day.) We messaged the operator using their platform and received no reply. We called the operator but nobody answered the phone. Since it was raining, we walked to Casa da Musica to shelter ourselves from the rain. Then the operator called back and asked us to send a video of what happened of the door code. Since we left the building, we couldn’t take the video. Then they agreed to look into it. They sent us a reply saying that we refused to comply by sending a video. They subsequently asked us to ignore the message and said it was their internal communication and was sent to us by mistake, but it showed that they didn’t understand why we didn’t want to walk back to the building in the rain to take the video they requesed. After an hour of us raising the issue with them, they finally sent someone to open the main entrance for us. The person said the entrance code issue was not new! It was a very bad experience and we wasted an hour. We would seriously reconsider staying in a place managed by this operator.

I stayed at Pensao França Hostel and overall had a good experience. The hostel is clean, although the room size is quite small, which is typical for backpackers. They provide both small and large towels, as well as body soap and hand soap. There was a slight urine smell when I first arrived, but it disappeared after the bathroom was used. The bathroom has a shower with both hot and cold water available. The room is also equipped with a fan. A microwave and an electric kettle are available for shared use on the second floor. The hostel has three floors and no elevator. The owner lives on the second floor and is very kind and friendly to talk to. Since the hostel is located near restaurants and bars, there can be some noise from outside. However, once the windows are closed and especially when you are tired, it is not too disturbing. The location is very convenient, as it is within walking distance of Porto city center.

Sie sollten Ihr Frühstück frühzeitig haben, sonst wird es wirklich überfüllt und keine Sitze verfügbar. Dies ist die billigste, die ich in Porto finden konnte, dass’s im Haushalt, aber angesichts der Tatsache, dass ich Uber zu bekommen musste, um ins Zentrum zu kommen, besser mehr zu spenden, dass’s in der Stadt.

Die Einrichtungen für unser Zimmer waren alles, was Sie benötigten, unsere “Bunks” sind Cubby’s in der Wand mit viel Platz und ein Lockerraum unten für Taschen oder Werte. Das Badezimmer ist im Vergleich zu dem, was ich in Kanada gebraucht habe, aber es hat Ihre Toilette, Tauchbad und Dusche. Was brauchst du noch? Schließlich war das Essen sehr gut, das war unser erstes Aufenthalt auf unserer Reise aus Kanada, so vielleicht ist es hier normal, aber es ist so frisch und einfach geschmackvoll! Sehr empfehlen!

Das Hostel liegt nur wenige Minuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Einige Restaurants in der Nähe. Der Supermarkt ist etwas zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, aber vergessen Sie nicht, Ihre eigenen Kochutensilien mitzubringen. Eine Mikrowelle ist vorhanden. Kostenloses Frühstück mit begrenzter Auswahl. Das Zimmer ist mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Das obere Bett hat jedoch einen Zwischenraum zur Wand und auch einen größeren Zwischenraum zwischen den Seiten, um zu verhindern, dass jemand herunterfällt. Das ist für die Personen im oberen Bett unbequem und unsicher. Da es für die Betten keine Abdeckung gibt, erhellt jeder, der die Lampe öffnet, das ganze Zimmer. Für die Personen im oberen Bett ist ein Stauraum am Kopfende erforderlich.

It was difficult to locate the hostel as it was a small door with a colourful poster (not eye catching initially) beside an Kebah resturant. Lift was the old sch lift but im glad it work with my heavy luggage. The staff was friendly, check in was easy. Room was awesome as i was the only 1 on the last day (4 bed female dorm). However a bit noisy along the corridor in the middle of the night at other rooms. Breakfast was cheap and simple, was being serve. Overall its a good stay and walking distance to every location.

We booked this room last minute.. The manager was very accommodating and even included a complimentary breakfast in our room rate, even though it would have a 5 euro charge extra. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom squeaky clean. The hotel is not in the city centre, but the centre is not far , easily reached by metro, 2 stops away, or a 15min downhill stroll. The decor is somewhat dated overall, but it gives the property the quaint air of a countryside pousada even though it is located in Porto city.

Convenient location and super friendly service. Close to the MRT station and a large shopping center. I can recommend the hotel if you're looking for something good and affordable. We had 4 rooms and all of us where pleased! One little thing, you might here the airplanes in the morning if you are sensitive to noise.
