I stayed in the Zara room on the ground floor of the Farm Cottage, and it was absolutely beautiful. The room was decorated so thoughtfully and was equipped with everything I could have needed, including robes, a selection of teas and coffees, and biscuits. The bathroom was equally stunning, with a lovely freestanding bath and a separate waterfall shower. The White Company toiletries were a really luxurious touch, and the room itself smelt beautiful from the moment I walked in. I also loved having a Smart TV in the room, which meant I could relax and watch Netflix during my stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the duvet was so lovely and plush. I genuinely had one of the best nights’ sleeps I’ve had in a long time. Whilst I didn’t dine in the restaurant for my evening meal, breakfast was included with my stay, so I visited the restaurant the following morning. I enjoyed a teapot of tea and the pancakes with fresh fruit and Chantilly cream, which were lovely. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were polite, friendly and attentive throughout my stay. There was also plenty of on site parking very close to reception, which was really convenient. The grounds were beautiful and clearly very well looked after, and it was lovely seeing the horses in the nearby field too. Everything felt so well thought out, luxurious and welcoming. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely love to return!

The location is beautiful, in the middle of the countryside no other houses in sight and stunning grounds, just what we wanted. check in was quick and easy and staff were lovely. as you walk through the building its beautifully decorated. The room (119) was a little tired, marks on wall as you enter, cobweb on ceiling, wardrobe only had 1 mirror door not two and wasn't clean, 1 bulb out in bathroom, extractor fan not working, tiny bit of shower gel in bottle, had to ask for more, hole in carpet, and very threadbare in parts, windows not cleaned. Bed was comfy and clean and towels were clean. room was nice I just expected little more attention to cleaning and to maintenance. We used the pool area, again its tired, all the facilities are there and working fine just feels like it needs a lick of paint and good clean. We had good nights sleep, excellent blackout curtains. Breakfast was in beautiful room with views over the garden, service was excellent, the cold buffet was fine, nothing special all the basics, English breakfast was again ok, 1 of everything, was £48 for the two of us which felt a lot for what we were served. Overall a nice stay but certainly no WOW for your money.

A simply amazing stay. Firstly Ian and his team helped us remedy an error made by ******* on booking rooms at the Bowes hotel. Really friendly and interpersonal staff along with extensive knowledge of the area and further beyond particularly Hadrian's Wall path along with the Roman Museums and Forts. The food served was amazing aswell, better than some other independent restaurants, also the Thai-cakes are a must try! The room is clean and tidy with a great buffet breakfast to boot, they also make lunch for your journey ahead. If you are staying at Bardon Mill, this is the place to be, just a walk away from the station that connects back to Newcastle. Friendly neighbourhood and locals that shares stories from their journeys and also fellow travellers from around the world mostly doing the Hadrian's Wall walk. I cannot fault this wonderful and cosy hotel and pub that is the Bowes Hotel!

Echt gemütlich Farmhouse Aufenthalt! Sehr verschlossen am Ende einer Farmstraße! Die Gastgeber waren wirklich erstaunlich und nahmen auch wirklich gute Pflege der Gäste und ihre Eigenschaften! Das Zimmer ist sehr „Landwirtschaft“ traditionelle mit sauberen und komfortablen Bettwäsche. Die einzige Seite, die mir zu unten war, war das Bett zu klein (Ich bin eigentlich hoch und gleich mit meiner Frau), und es gibt keine Schalter. 4:30 am alles war hell! Nichts, das die Schönheit des Grundstücks und das erstaunliche Gefühl, in einer wirklichen Arbeiterfarm mit ausgezeichneten Gastgebern willkommen zu sein, wegnimmt.

Purdy ist wirklich ein einfaches Geschäftshotel mit großem Parling entlang der Hihway sauber effizient. Lage weise ist es ausgezeichnet , in der Nähe der Heiligen Insel Newcastle Alnwick, Berkwick und Bamburg. Es gibt eine Tankstelle in der Nähe. Die Zimmer sind sauber Waschräume sind Gut, funktionierend. Die Überraschung ist das Personal und die Pflege und das Restaurant anschließend, die so gut sind. Essen ist fantastisch. Während des Abendessens waren die Fische und Chips erstaunlich wie die Schweinebärmutter. Frühstück war erstaunlich. Ich würde hier wieder bleiben, wenn ich zu diesem Bereich gehe. wunderbar . ruhig in der Nacht . schöne große Fenster, die die Wellenwindgrasland übersehen. wunderschön bleiben

Eine sehr charakteristische Aufenthaltserfahrung ist das wahre Mittelalters Schloss und die Wahl ist die Josephine Suite, die eine der wenigen Zimmer im Schloss ist, besonders wie die mittleren Fenster im Zimmer und Fotos sind sehr erscheinend. Das Abendessen und das Frühstück war großartig, das allgemeine Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut, die Nacht war sehr ruhig, es gab kaum Lichtverschmutzung und man kann man die Sternen von Manchu sehen. Die empfohlene ist die Burgtour, es gibt ein spezielles Personal, das Sie den ganzen Schloss besuchen und auf den Spitzen steigen wird, die Landschaft ist einzigartig. Es gibt auch 🦚 Wenn Sie das einzigartige Schloss erleben wollen, ist es sehr zu empfehlen.

Komfortable Zimmer, schöne Auswahl an Toiletten mit angenehmem Scent. wunderschönes Essen. Battlesteads konnten einen Haustierhund ( auch tierpack) beherbergen . Große Auswahl für Frühstück und Geschmack Ringtons Kaffee. Dies war ein Geburtstagspause, so dass nur eine Nacht Aufenthalt , Bucht Bett und Frühstück, beschlossen, Abendessen hinzuzufügen. Das Dorf Wark ist schön zu Fuß, über die Brücke zu Fußballfeld auf eine Weise und der Hund zu Fuß, das Wetter half, den Aufenthalt zu machen, wie es warme Herbstsolar. sah Grey Heron an der Flussbank. Würde empfehlen und würde wieder gehen.

This is a great choice if planning to go to the Kielder Observatory as it’s about a 20 minute drive. Our room was nice and functional. The biggest plus was the food. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and felt very upscale with great value for the price. The dining area is really cozy too and everyone was friendly. The only small downside is that check out is relatively early at 10am if you join one of the late night sessions at the Observatory which finish at 01:30 am.

As regular visitors we always enjoy Slaley Hall. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, from a warm welcome at Reception to check out. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The facilities are good, as are the food and rooms. The location is good, perhaps the only downside is a lack of signage from the road for new visitors.
