5-Sterne-Hotels in Jawa Timur, Indonesien

I stayed here for 3 nights, and this is my honest review. The hotel has recently reopened after a complete renovation and rebranding. The staff were excellent. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Check-in took about five minutes because the staff member assisting me seemed new and was carefully following the procedures. I didn’t mind at all, and I was served a delicious welcome drink while waiting. After check-in, a staff member escorted me to my room. Pros: 1. The rooms have been fully renovated and feel modern. 2. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, even at 26°C. 3. Breakfast exceeded my expectations. Everything I tried was delicious, especially the Indonesian dishes. What impressed me the most was that, even though the hotel was still very quiet and there were only a handful of guests during my stay, they still offered a full breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. Many hotels would simply serve a limited set menu or deliver breakfast to the room when occupancy is this low, but this hotel maintained a complete buffet from end to end. I really have to give them credit for that. 4. The location is convenient, with Superindo and Indomaret within a 3-minute walk and Pakuwon Mall only about a 9-minute drive away. 5. The lobby is spacious and looks luxurious. Cons: 1. The TV was by far my biggest disappointment. I stayed in a Deluxe Room, and the TV appeared to be left over from the previous hotel rather than replaced during the renovation. It was very small, around 32 inches, and wasn’t a Smart TV, which feels completely out of place for a hotel that claims to be five-star. The selection of TV channels was also very limited, and the picture quality was poor with noticeable static, making it quite unpleasant during my 3-night stay. The Executive Rooms have larger TVs, but based on the information I received, they are not Smart TVs either because I was told that only the Suite Rooms will have Smart TVs, and those rooms will only become available after the hotel’s grand opening. You can even notice that the hotel doesn’t include any photos of the TV in the Deluxe Room images on its booking page, which almost makes it seem like they’re avoiding showing it. Nowadays, it’s hard to imagine a genuine five-star hotel still using a 32-inch non-Smart TV in its standard guest rooms. 2. Soundproofing isn’t great. I could hear noise from the next room and the nearby mosque. 3. The Wi-Fi was very slow, and mobile signal inside the hotel was also weak. 4. The shower area had no shelf or storage space for personal toiletries, and the floor was extremely slippery. I almost slipped several times while showering. This is something the hotel should address, as it could become a safety hazard. 5. The power outlet next to the bed was already occupied by the bedside lamp, so I had to unplug it every time I wanted to charge my phone. 6. Although there were plenty of power outlets in the room, about half of them didn’t work, which was frustrating. 7. I wasn’t a fan of the pillow and bed linens. While the bed itself was comfortable, the bedsheets felt rough rather than soft. I even noticed that the underside of my arms became itchy whenever they rubbed against the fabric. 8. The hotel was very quiet during my stay. It seems many people still don’t know it has reopened, and I haven’t seen much promotion or any soft opening offers on its website and Instagram account. Overall: I enjoyed my stay thanks to the friendly staff, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, and convenient location. However, the TV and Wi-Fi were major drawbacks, and there are still several details that don’t quite meet the standard of a true five-star hotel. At the moment, I would personally rate this hotel as 4.5 stars rather than a full 5-star property. It has great potential, and with improvements to the TVs, internet, room details, and overall quality control, I believe it could truly live up to its five-star positioning.

This place is absolutely fantastic for families. They've got an amazing kids' club that the little ones will adore. The entire facility is really well-maintained and kept in top shape. Plus, they have a proper drop-off area, which is super convenient. It's truly an ideal spot for a family getaway..

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel! Das Zimmer war wirklich gut gestaltet und dekoriert. Die Aussichten auf die Vulkane vom 11. Stock sind erstaunlich. Das Frühstück ist eines der besten, die ich je hatte! Viele indonesische Gerichte, westliche Gerichte, gebackene Waren, Desserts, Live-Stationen. Das Personal war hervorragend. Herr Patrick ging aus seinem Weg, mich zu einem ATM zu gehen, um mir Geld zu bekommen! Kein anderes Hotel in der Welt würde diesen Service anbieten. Ich lobe ihn. Highly recommended hotel.

1. The resort is awfully located in the middle of nowhere, looks like within an abandoned estate. It is so remote from any local shops, cafes or restaurants; too far by walking distance to anywhere. 2. Fancy design but inefficient: The impressive reception doesn’t warrant a massive amount of time wasted by guests. They have to catcth two lifts and walk a fair distances before reaching their room. I think you may get lost in no time. The architects do not consider a simpler ways for the sake of guests’ convenience, say by having additional lifts iooat the end of corridors to reduce walking distances. 3. The room service meals are quite awful, a way below five stars standard even it’s available in 24 hours. 4. A rooftop bars could be a bonus for relaxing guests to enjoy a mountains/city view, not like my room with a balcony, facing uninteresting garden for two day stays. 5. The positive side, my room is well represented and matches a five stars standard and facilities. Good size room with a comfortable king bed. 6. I rather prefer to stay at Hotel Tugu in Malang with a friendly staff particularly at breakfast time, even no lifts provided to go to second floor.

Zweiten Aufenthalt hier und die Konsistenz ist fest. Zimmer sind sauber, komfortabel und gut gepflegt keine Abnahme in den Standards im Vergleich zu meinem ersten Besuch. Der Service war überall reibungslos. Besonderes Dank an Joan für die effiziente und professionelle Bearbeitung von Ein- und Auscheckung. Schnell, klar und schwach. Die Lage ist sehr bequem mit einfachen Zugang zu nahe gelegenen Einrichtungen und Transport. Wir hatten ein Essen in Nishimura ist angemessen nicht über dem Top, sondern zuverlässig und gut verwaltet. Insgesamt ist ein vertrauenswürdiges Hotel, das konsequent abstellt. Wird wieder zurück.

Eins der besten Hotels in Batu und schöne Atmosphäre.. Es ist eines unserer Lieblingshotels beim Besuch von Batu Es ist besser, wenn sie die Möbel im Zimmer, vor allem die Gewebe, erneuern können.. es sieht zu alt und stübig aus ... Es ist so bemüht für sie am Tag, als wir uns kürzlich verließen, dass die grundlegenden Amnestie im Zimmer vergessen

Great solid property and performance all round.. what a great short stay we had.. from the elegant lobby and lounge area through to the beautiful spacious room with lovely views over Surabaya. Exceptionally clean with every quality amenity on offer in room and within hotel confines. The room was peacefully quiet, with a soft comforting bed. Pool and recreational area was set amongst manicured palm trees and gorgeous gardens. The pool was one of the best balanced PH levels I’ve ever swam in. Nice comfortable lounges and ample seating around with some seats submerged along in pool. The refined service level at this hotel is a solid 10/10 from reception/concierge/ room attendants and especially in Pavilion Restaurant. The quality, presentation and variety of food is outstanding at breakfast. Thank you graciously for making our special occasion so welcoming with the beautifully adorable presentation on the bed, lovely celebration cake offered along with the very personal attention from the Sous Chef and charming restaurant staff at Pavilion. Special shoutout to Restaurant ambassador Wachid whom personally escorted our plated celebratory cake to our room. Reception and concierge service was also exceptional, graciously assisting us with our missing luggage wheel dilemma. JW Marriott and all involved.. till we meet again.. Terih Makasih 🙏🏻

Das war mein erstes Aufenthalt in Ascott Surabaya, und die Erfahrung war mir nicht sehr erinnerlich. Als ich zuerst angekommen war, waren die Sicherheitskräfte nicht proaktiv, um meine Gepäck von dem Taxi zu entladen. Zweitens war die Lobby-Layout meiner Meinung nicht besonders beeindruckend, aber das Personal war recht freundlich und erklärte die Hoteleinrichtungen gut. Was das Zimmer betrifft, so war es angemessen und in guter Zustand. Die Küchenausstattung war komplett, und die Mikrowelle, Waschmaschine und Trockner funktionierten gut. Das Badezimmer war sauber, obwohl ich denke, es könnte neu gestaltet werden, um moderner zu sehen. Der Auscheck ging reibungslos, aber wieder einmal waren die Sicherheitskräfte enttäuschend. Er stand dort, ohne mir irgendeine Hilfe zu bieten, um meine Gepäck in den Taxi zu laden. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt trug ich eine große Tasche und eine kleine Tasche, so wäre die Hilfe sehr geschätzt worden. Das sollte Teil der Verantwortung eines Sicherheitspersonals, vor allem für ein fünf-Sterne-Hotel. Für die Lage ist das Pakuwon Trade Center (PTC) direkt vor dem Hotel gelegen, so dass es sehr bequem zu besuchen Pakuwon Mall, der größte Mall in Indonesien. Für mich reicht es, hier einmal zu bleiben. Aus irgendeinem Grund habe ich keinen bedeutsamen Komfort, vor allem für ein fünf-Sterne-Hotel, und die Einstellung des Sicherheitspersonals war sehr enttäuschend.

Wir haben das Executive-Zimmer gebucht und sind mehr als zufrieden mit unserer Wahl! Von Anfang an haben uns Lintangs herzliche Gastfreundschaft und ihr exzellenter Service nachhaltig beeindruckt. Sie erlaubte uns freundlicherweise, früher einzuchecken, nachdem sie bemerkt hatte, wie müde wir vom Flug waren, und gab uns sogar ein Zimmer mit der besten Aussicht! Das Frühstück war ein Highlight unseres Aufenthalts und bot eine Fülle köstlicher lokaler Gerichte. Wir haben es sehr geschätzt, lokale Köstlichkeiten statt der üblichen internationalen Gerichte genießen zu können, was unser Erlebnis noch besonderer machte. Das Zimmer selbst war geräumig und komfortabel und bot den perfekten Rückzugsort nach unseren Abenteuern. Insgesamt hatten wir einen fantastischen Aufenthalt und können dieses Hotel jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der ein tolles Erlebnis sucht!

Ausstattung: sehr gut, das Hotel ist noch neu, Hygiene: sauber und ordentlich, gute Umgebung, Service: Super gut. Im Vergleich zur heimischen Fünf-Sterne-Welt sehr guter Service. Frühstück: sehr gut, viele Variationen, vvvnsjjsjsk
