The instruction on access to the hotel carpark could do with being highlighted at the time or soon after the booking because we had stopped in front of the hotel entrance at street level which is a bus lane and bus stop and we are a little worried right now for getting a bus lane ticket. The sign for the car parking arrangement is a small plaque next to the hotel entrance we can see from the car at the kerb side but we had already gone onto the bus lane. Another slight moan is the bed being a little too soft and in these day and age it should be a king size bed…. However, we are happy with the helpfulness of the staff both at reception as well as during breakfast.

I was just disappointed of the initial checkin as I got in my room my request was never made. Very simple. I ask the 2 single beds to be combined to make it bigger. But nope. The late checkouts despite of willing to pay extra was just as it is. I could pay an extra night if I have to if they said so but no. We were from night shift of work and finished at 7 am that we got to the hotel at 7:30 and after breakfast few minutes of rest then we slept off. We got a call at 11 telling us about the checkout and told them I have already asked for the late checkout for extra charges but its only for 2 hours. Nothing more. The attendant started banging the door telling us to checkout as she needed to changed the sheets and so on and so for. We find it really rude.

Wunderbare Erfahrung auf dem Schloss bleiben. Wir hatten Abendessen im Hof für einen sehr vernünftigen Preis betrachten das Essen war von großer Qualität. Der Gesundheitsclub hatte große Einrichtungen einschließlich einer vernünftigen Größe Fitness-Swimmingpool / Jacuzzi. Wir würden sicher noch einmal dort bleiben, da die Lage groß war. Der einzige kleine Beschwerde, den wir hätten, ist, dass das Zimmer etwas kalt war, aber es ist spätestens Januar.

The staff at the hotel was really lovely and the location was good. That's about it on the good things. It was really not worth the price, poor cheap bedding, messy floors, I wouldn't dare putting my clothes in the wardrobe either, really smudged bathroom and lack of soap and other amenities. I stayed there one night which was ok but would definitely consider a different spot next time around.

Sehr nahe der Schleppbahnhof und dem Zentrum der Stadt. Dekor ist datiert, aber funktional. Das Badezimmer war groß und komfortabel und schnell gefüllt. Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit und machte den Aufenthalt einfach. Personal und Lage das Highlight für mich.

Hotel rooms are in a separate area from the reception and bar/restaurant, and rooms are rather cosy. Car parking is rather limited, but free if available. The breakfast is a la carte, and quite excellent, served in the dining room directly overlooking the harbour. Staff are exceptionally helpful.

Staff were more than helpful, very friendly , The room was smart, clean and it HAD A BATHTUB which was amazing! Only an extra £5 to add on the gym and pool pass , which we didn't end up using but it was a bargain .

Pleasantly surprised. Rooms were spacious and clean. Check in and check out was a breeze. Hotel is located right next to the retail park. Breakfast buffet was very affordable with a great selection too.

Sound enough for the price. I’ve stayed a couple of times and you don’t want a room on the road, the hgv’s pulling out of the docks at 4am aren’t quiet.
