our stay is just ok. not as great as expected. came before the 1 May holiday so we were expected to leave the hotel at 12pm sharp.

Die Gesamtausstattung und das Ambiente des Hotels entsprechen nicht dem Preis. Das kostenlose Alkoholarmband kann man allerdings nur gegen eine Limonade im Wert von 120 NT$ einlösen, wenn man keinen Alkohol trinkt. Dafür bekam man eine kleine Aluminiumdose Cola, die im Supermarkt für 10 NT$ verkauft wurde. Der Internetempfang im Zimmer war so schlecht, dass er praktisch nutzlos war. Die Netflix-Oberfläche des Fernsehers war so simpel, dass ich in meinem ursprünglichen Zimmer nicht einmal Netflix schauen konnte. Der Abfluss der Dusche war stark verstopft und wäre fast übergelaufen. Nachdem ich dies der Rezeption gemeldet hatte, sagte das Personal, sie würden das Problem beheben, während sie nicht in der Stadt seien. Bei meiner Rückkehr sagten sie, sie hätten es repariert, aber nichts geschah. Schließlich rief ich mitten in der Nacht an der Rezeption an, um mich zu beschweren, und nach langem Warten gaben sie mir ein anderes Zimmer, um Netflix zu schauen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und entschuldigte sich am nächsten Tag, aber als Entschädigung wurde mir ein zwei Stunden später Check-out und ein Gutschein für ein kostenloses Upgrade für meinen nächsten Aufenthalt angeboten. Ehrlich gesagt, warum sollte ich 8.000 oder 10.000 NT$ dafür ausgeben? Das Frühstück war jedoch köstlich und das Einzige, was die ganze Reise lohnenswert machte.

Als 5-Sterne-Hotel finde ich es unpassend, auf Self-Check-in-Automaten zu setzen. Ein 5-Sterne-Hotel sollte den entsprechenden Service bieten und mich nicht zum Self-Check-in schicken. Da könnte ich ja gleich ein 3-Sterne-Hotel buchen! Ganz abgesehen davon, dass der Automat auch noch Probleme machte. Check-in war ab 15 Uhr möglich, ich kam um 16 Uhr an und mir wurde gesagt, das Zimmer sei noch nicht fertig? Dann musste ich wieder zur Rezeption, um nachzufragen. Wenn die Automaten so unzuverlässig sind, sollte man die Gäste doch einfach direkt an der Rezeption einchecken lassen. Außerdem hatte ich vor der Ankunft angegeben, dass ich eine höhere Etage wünsche, und das Hotel hatte mir sogar geantwortet, dass die höchste Etage für meinen Zimmertyp die 29. sei – was beweist, dass sie meine Anmerkung gesehen hatten. Trotzdem bekam ich bei der Ankunft das niedrigste Stockwerk, die 12. Etage, zugewiesen. Erst nachdem ich erneut nachgefragt hatte, wurde es auf die 18. Etage geändert. Das ist wirklich frustrierend. Und selbst wenn Zahnbürste und Zahnpasta nicht vorhanden sind, sollten doch zumindest zwei Flaschen Mineralwasser im Zimmer Standard sein, oder? Ich weiß, dass es auf jeder Etage einen Wasserspender gibt, aber ich bin Tourist. Erwarten Sie wirklich, dass ich mit einer Flasche in der Hand durch die Gegend laufe? Umweltschutz in Ehren, aber das geht zu weit!

Solides Hotel mit guter Lage. Der Garten mit Pool ist schön gewachsen, wobei die Holzliegen aber ziemlich hart sind und es keine beweglichen Sonnenschirme gegen zuviel Sonne gibt. Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber recht gut in Stand gehalten. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Für Kinder gibt es viel Unterhaltung, für Erwachsene auch Billard. Anders als es den Anschein haben könnte, liegt das Hotel nicht direkt am Strand. Dafür muss eine vierspurige Straße überquert werden. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war der Strand nicht zugänglich, weil die Treppe repariert wurde

Hotel is relative clean. Stayed in a single room with a semi double bed. Size is decent but didn’t realised it was behind the lifts, could hear the lift moving through out the day. The shower head position is pretty bad. It’s not on an angle it’s pretty much like spraying directly into your body. It would be great if they could address this. It’s 15 mins walk from the metro station so not closed. Also there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Crawled out of the drain

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March). Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks. Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing. Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.  Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for.  There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue. Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)

Meine allgemeine Erfahrung im Hotel Kuva Chateau war angenehm, obwohl ich ein wenig enttäuscht war, dass der Pool im Winter geschlossen und nur vom Mai bis September geöffnet wird. Es gibt jedoch einen öffentlichen Pool gegenüber dem Hotel, wo man NT 100 zahlen kann, um einen schönen Schwimmbad und heißen Frühling zu genießen. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, mit einem sehr sauberen und gut gepflegten Park in der Nähe. Das Hotel selbst war sauber, und ich mochte das Badezimmer, das eine saubere Badewanne mit einem Spottlöser hatte.

Hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel! Das Zimmer war sauber, geräumig und sehr komfortabel. Einer der Highlights war das private Bad perfekt für eine entspannende Socke nach einem langen Tag, bietet sowohl Privatsphäre als auch Ruhe. Das öffentliche Bad war ebenso beeindruckend: gut gepflegt und eine gute Möglichkeit, sich zu entspannen, während Sie die traditionelle Erfahrung genießen. Die Einrichtungen waren unspottbar und die Atmosphäre machte es einfach, sich vollständig zu entspannen. Insgesamt war es ein fantastisches Aufenthalt mit dem besten der beiden Welten der Luxus eines privaten Bades und der Charme eines öffentlichen. Ich würde sicherlich zurückkehren und dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen, jemanden, der eine rejuvenative Getaway sucht.

It was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience! This hotel really checked all the boxes for a comfortable and family-friendly getaway. The highlight for us was the tatami-style bed in the room. It’s low to the ground, which made it absolutely perfect for our toddler and 1-year-old. We didn’t have to worry about them rolling off the bed, and it even doubled as a safe, spacious play area during the day. The kids loved crawling and jumping around, and we parents could relax knowing they were safe. The private hot spring in our room was the best part of the stay. After a long day of traveling and exploring, being able to soak in the hot spring was exactly what we needed. It was clean, spacious, and perfect for unwinding while the kids napped or played. Orient Luxury Hotel in Jiaoxi is a fantastic choice for families, especially those with young kids. The tatami-style beds, private hot spring, and thoughtful service made our stay both relaxing and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable, family-friendly hotel in Yilan, this is definitely a great option. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back for another visit! The grandparents especially loved it—it was so convenient for them to enjoy the hot spring without having to leave the room. It really helped us recharge for the next day! The breakfast buffet was great! There was a good mix of Western and local ********* dishes, and everything was fresh and delicious. The kids enjoyed the pancakes and fruit, while the grandparents appreciated the traditional congee and hot tea.
