Vor langer Zeit lebte ich in Hengchun und arbeitete als Yogalehrerin. Ich fand die Umgebung damals wunderschön. Wenn ich die Gelegenheit habe, muss ich unbedingt wiederkommen und Urlaub machen. Ich habe meine Kinder nach vielen Jahren wieder mitgebracht, und es ist immer noch so schön! Das Zimmer ist auch sehr komfortabel. Die Kinder hatten auch viel Spaß mit der intelligenten Haushaltshilfe. Als ich nachts eine Duschhaube brauchte, brachte sie mir der Roboter an die Zimmertür. Ich hoffe, dass beim nächsten Familienurlaub mehr Leute das gemeinsam erleben können! P.S.: Die Einkaufstaschen gefallen mir auch sehr gut.

The overall trip was enjoyable, but the hotel definitely needs renovation. The bar felt uninviting—very dark, with only a few tables and no good music, which made the atmosphere quite disappointing. They also charge 200 NTD per person each time to use the sauna, which seems unreasonable. As a hotel guest, I would expect amenities like this to be included. If I have to pay extra for basic facilities, it defeats the purpose of staying at the hotel. Overall, the experience with these aspects was quite frustrating and felt unnecessary.

Das Zimmer entsprach genau den Bildern. Zuerst zu den positiven Punkten: Es liegt nahe an der MRT-Station Longshan Temple, etwa 5-6 Gehminuten vom Ausgang 2 entfernt, direkt neben dem Wanhua-Bahnhof. Das Zimmer ist weder zu groß noch zu klein, perfekt für zwei Personen und man kann einen 28-Zoll-Koffer öffnen, ohne dass er im Weg ist. Das Badezimmer hat eine Duschbrause und eine Badewanne, wobei man nicht in der Badewanne duschen muss. Besonders gut gefiel mir, dass Toilette und Dusche getrennt sind. Das Waschbecken befindet sich außerhalb des Badezimmers und hat eine große Ablagefläche, was ich sehr lobenswert finde, da es sich hervorragend zum Schminken eignet und andere nicht stört, die das Bad benutzen wollen. Obwohl das Zimmer nicht groß ist, gibt es ein großes Sofa, ideal um Take-away zu essen und fernzusehen – sehr kinderfreundlich, wie ich finde. Die Lobby bietet die Möglichkeit, Gepäck vor dem Check-in und nach dem Check-out aufzubewahren. Die Mitarbeiter am Gepäckschalter waren außergewöhnlich freundlich, das möchte ich besonders hervorheben. Alle Damen waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit; man konnte jederzeit kommen, um etwas zu erledigen, ohne dass sie ungeduldig wurden. Da kann das Dailihua Hotel in Ximending nicht mithalten. Nun zu den Nachteilen: Die Hotellobby ist geräumig und bietet viele Sitzgelegenheiten zum Entspannen. Da das Hotel keinen frühen Check-in anbietet und man bis 15 Uhr warten muss, ist das für Gäste mit ”Red-eye-Flügen” (Nachtflügen) nicht ideal. Ich war mit meinem Kind unterwegs, und nachdem wir das Gepäck abgegeben hatten und etwas gegessen und uns umgesehen hatten, war mein Kind erschöpft. Obwohl es erst 14 Uhr war, weigerte sich das Hotel, uns einzuchecken. Wir mussten in der Lobby warten, wo jedoch Essen und Trinken nicht erlaubt waren. Man konnte also nur untätig herumsitzen. Außerdem zur Sauberkeit: Beim Check-in war das Zimmer nicht sehr sauber; auf den Ablagen und in den Ecken war Staub. Wer mit Kindern reist, sollte darauf achten und entweder selbst putzen oder die Kinder anweisen, nichts anzufassen. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und Kaffee- und Teebeutel wurden aufgefüllt, aber die Bettwäsche wurde nicht gewechselt, nur das Bett gemacht. Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt. Taiwanesische Hotels stellen keine Zahnbürsten-Sets zur Verfügung, ich hatte meine eigenen dabei. Ich weiß nicht, ob das Hotel welche verkauft. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen: Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, die Raumaufteilung und Ausstattung sind sehr durchdacht, und das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich würde wieder hier übernachten.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March). Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks. Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing. Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.  Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for.  There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue. Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)

Meine allgemeine Erfahrung im Hotel Kuva Chateau war angenehm, obwohl ich ein wenig enttäuscht war, dass der Pool im Winter geschlossen und nur vom Mai bis September geöffnet wird. Es gibt jedoch einen öffentlichen Pool gegenüber dem Hotel, wo man NT 100 zahlen kann, um einen schönen Schwimmbad und heißen Frühling zu genießen. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, mit einem sehr sauberen und gut gepflegten Park in der Nähe. Das Hotel selbst war sauber, und ich mochte das Badezimmer, das eine saubere Badewanne mit einem Spottlöser hatte.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. One of the highlights was the private bath — perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day, offering both privacy and tranquility. The public bath was equally impressive: well-maintained and a great way to unwind while enjoying the traditional experience. The facilities were spotless, and the atmosphere made it easy to fully relax. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with the best of both worlds — the luxury of a private bath and the charm of a public one. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a rejuvenating getaway.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Orient Luxury Hotel. Der Service war ausgezeichnet, das Personal überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war genau nach unserem Geschmack eingerichtet, schlicht und modern. Die private Hotspring auf dem Balkon war ein Highlight. Das Essen war auch hervorragend. Da wir aus Europa kommen, war auch für beim Brunch Buffet sehr viel Auswahl. Natürlich gab es auch eine riesige Auswahl an Früchten und Gemüse (für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei). Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums. Der nächste Bahnhof ist zwei Gehminuten entfernt und der Hauptbahnhof von Taipeh ist nur eine Haltestelle entfernt. In der Nähe gibt es zwei Convenience-Stores und ein amerikanisches Fastfood-Restaurant. Diesmal habe ich zwei Zimmer gebucht und das Hotel hat Doppelzimmer arrangiert. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und das Badezimmer verfügt über eine große Badewanne und Toilette. Die Landschaft ist offen. Schade, dass ich dieses Mal den Freizeitbereich im obersten Stockwerk mit Dampfbädern, Fitnesseinrichtungen usw. nicht genutzt habe. Ich werde beim nächsten Mal auf jeden Fall das Buffet ausprobieren.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Humble Boutique Hotel from March 30 to April 5, 2026, for our first sightseeing trip to Taipei. We would like to express our genuine gratitude for the hospitality we received during our six-day visit. Commendable Service & Hospitality The true highlight of our stay was the staff. From the concierge and housekeeping teams to the gym and restaurant staff, everyone worked diligently to ensure the hotel ran smoothly. We were particularly impressed by the team’s English proficiency; communication was seamless, making us and the many international guests we encountered feel very much at home. We would like to extend a special thank you to: * Kaley, Tina, and Mary at the restaurant for their attentive service. * Our dedicated housekeeper (the kind lady from Vietnam) who looked after our room on the 9th floor. Excellent Facilities & Location * Prime Accessibility: The hotel’s location in the central district is incredibly convenient. Being just steps away from the MRT station made our sightseeing effortless, and the 30-minute shuttle ride from the airport was very efficient. COMPACT GYM: It’s compact but contains most of the equipments I need including treadmill, stairclimbers, Multi- purpose gym stations and dumbbell.  WARM SWIMMING POOL: nice, long and warm - the water is kept at a temperature of 28 degree. Towel will be provided. Make sure to bring your own swimming hat if you prefer to swim. * Accommodations: Our corner King Room on the 9th floor was spacious, impeccably clean, and provided a very cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. * Wellness & Dining: We enjoyed the well-equipped, compact gym and the lovely heated pool, which was maintained at a comfortable 28°C. Furthermore, the semi-buffet breakfast on the 2nd floor was a daily highlight. Each of the five main course options was delicious and well-prepared. Constructive Reflections In the spirit of helpfulness, we noticed two small areas for potential improvement. First, the installation of a few coin-operated laundry machines would be a wonderful convenience for long-term travelers. Second, as the hotel is so centrally located, there is some audible road noise even on the higher floors; however, this is understandable given the prime location. FINAL We would rate our experience a 9.5/10. Had there been laundry facilities, it would have been a perfect 10. The Humble Boutique Hotel will undoubtedly be our first choice when we return to Taipei. Thank you for making our first visit so memorable.
