This property is absolutely amazing! We spent the weekend here at Eskapo Verde and I def. have to say that this is the best and most unforgettable experience during our stay in Cebu. Location: The property is located south to Moaboal inbetween the Moaboal city/ town and Kawasan canyoneering. Perfectly quiet within lushy mangroves and wild creatures. It's not as bustling as Moaboal so if one is looking for a green escape this is the place to go. Facilities: The lodge offers cottages which are super amazing. Very well maintained and eco-friendly. I really appreciate the property's effort in not offering unnecessary plastic and disposable items. The property has its own restaurant and it is fabulous. We spent half a day just exploring the lodge and were pleased to have interesting encounters with its natural inhabitants. Staff and owner: Super friendly and professional. They provide responsible services, and the owners, Simon and Alain, are very hospitable and helpful. We really appreciate their help, as well as the support from the staff that made our trip so amazing.

Dieser Ort wird sehr empfohlen. Der Ort ist nett und perfekt für Touristen. Der Preis der Nahrung ist ziemlich teuer, aber es ist es wert. Gesamterfahrung ist großartig! Wir wollen bald zurück gehen, wenn die Chance gegeben wird. Danke an das freundliche Personal des Hotels sowie an die Verwaltung.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely had a great time. We originally came to Moalboal to experience Kawasan Canyoneering, and we were lucky because B’lu Bamboo is within the area where our canyoneering organizer offered free pick-up and drop-off. The location is really convenient. It’s close to White Beach and Lambug Beach, and the famous Sardine Run is also nearby. Osmeña Peak is around an hour away, and even Oslob is only about 2 hours away if you want to do a day trip. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so getting food or anything you need is easy. Eda was wonderful and very accommodating throughout our stay. And if you want breakfast, honestly look no further — Eda makes the best breakfast in Moalboal! They also rent motorcycles for an additional fee, which made it much easier for us to explore the area. We’re really glad we picked B’lu Bamboo and would definitely stay here again when we return to Moalboal. Highly recommended!

Toller Ort. Ein fantastischer Strand, der „Mushroom Rocks“ genannt wird. Sie können ihn während Ihres Aufenthalts beobachten. Fantastische Aussicht vom Strand oder von der Bar auf dem Dach, von der aus Sie die andere Insel und das Meer in all seiner Schönheit sehen können. Und verpassen Sie nicht die Chance, die Sterne von der Terrasse aus zu beobachten. Es ist wuuuuuuunderschön. Das Restaurant ist direkt an der Rezeption. Das Essen ist lecker, besonders gut haben uns die Frühlingsrollen und das Wild Orchid Omelett gefallen. Sie können jeden beliebigen Tisch wählen (direkt vor dem Strand, auf einem Café-Gelände, der Bar auf dem Dach oder dem Balkon). Der Pool auf dem Gemeinschaftsgelände ist wunderbar. Sauber, unterschiedliche Tiefe, instagrammäßig. Aber das Beste ist, es sind keine oder nur wenige Leute da. Nettes Personal an der Rezeption und in der Küche. Klares, komfortables Zimmer. Schöner Ort, um wiederzukommen!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Orchid, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a  view of the ocean over the treetops. It felt peaceful and private — exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for. The staff were exceptional — so friendly, kind, and accommodating. They helped me plan a surprise proposal for my fiancé, offering suggestions for the perfect location and ultimately arranging for us to use their private rooftop. They also coordinated a romantic dinner there just for us, ensuring we had complete privacy. It was an unforgettable evening, and I’m so grateful for the care they put into making it so special. The resort arranged our transportation both from our previous hotel in Mactan and later to Cebu Pier 1, which made travel stress-free. We also booked canyoneering and an introductory scuba dive through them. The instructors were fantastic — very patient and reassuring, especially when I became nervous underwater and couldn’t finish the dive. While the resort is a bit removed from the busier Panagsama Beach area, that was a huge plus for us. We wanted somewhere quiet, scenic, and romantic, and Blue Orchid delivered exactly that. The restaurant doesn’t have a massive menu, but the food was consistently delicious, portions were perfect, and prices were very fair. Even though there wasn’t a kettle in the room, hot water, coffee and tea was readily available and it was never an inconvenience since everything was close by. We also appreciated the mosquito net over the bed — it added to the tropical charm, though we didn’t need it because insects were never an issue. We even spotted a tiny gecko in our room upon arrival, but it was harmless and quickly disappeared — just part of the island’s character! Overall, the Blue Orchid was everything we hoped for: quiet, romantic, and welcoming. The staff helped make one of the most meaningful moments of our lives absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend it, especially to LGBTQ+ travelers looking for a peaceful and genuinely inclusive place to stay in Moalboal. When we do a return trip to the area, we will stay here again. 

Wenn Sie erwägen, in diesem Resort zu übernachten, ZÖGERN SIE NICHT, TUN SIE ES EINFACH. Dieses Resort ist 10/10! Das BEQUEMSTE Bett und die BEQUEMSTEN Kissen, in denen ich je geschlafen habe. Die Anlage ist gut gepflegt und extrem sauber. Das Resort hat eine sehr gemütliche und abgeschiedene Atmosphäre, so ruhig und wunderschön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und professionell. Jedes Zimmer hat eine Bungalowatmosphäre mit eigener Veranda und ist SEHR GERÄUMIG. Das einzige, was mich überrascht hat, war, dass es ein bisschen weit von der Hauptstraße entfernt ist, ABER das hat unsere Erfahrung nicht getrübt. Ich war tatsächlich so traurig, dieses Resort zu verlassen, ich würde zu 100 % wiederkommen.

Мне очень понравились: шикарный риф у отеля, дружелюбные люди, забота и моя комната (после повышения). Спасибо семье Juliet и Deinis, что помогли организовать все экскурсии: черепахи, акулы, сардины. И отдельное спасибо из дочери, за то, что возила меня на байке ) Спасибо персоналу за великолепную заботу обо мне. Но чекаут расстроил меня и я уехала грустная. Минусы: - Очень скудный завтрак - Периодически нет горячей воды в номере - Номера без звукоизоляции: грохот от шагов соседей сверху и звуки байка с улицы не давали спать - В номере гекконы, также поют по ночам - Бутилированная вода оказалась платной, об этом не предупредили

Wir checkten spät abends ein, was schnell ging. Es gab Ameisen und Spinnen im Zimmer, aber das störte uns nicht. Das Zimmer war nicht gereinigt. Der Strand ist 15 Gehminuten entfernt. In der Nähe gibt es eine leckere französische Bäckerei. Das Hostel bietet außerdem Frühstück, einen Pool und Spiele an. Wir haben diese Angebote nicht genutzt. An unserem Abreisetag checkten wir aufgrund einer verspäteten Exkursion erst nach 12 Uhr aus. Alles problemlos.

Von Cebu City aus können Sie einen Bus nehmen und an der Gaisano Mall in Moalboal aussteigen. Von dort sind es nur vier Gehminuten zum Hotel. Um nach Oslob zu gelangen, nehmen Sie einen Bus von der Haltestelle Richtung Bato und steigen an der Endhaltestelle um. Vor dem Hotel befindet sich ein großer Swimmingpool. Die Zimmerausstattung ist eher einfach, aber es gibt kostenlosen Kaffee, Teebeutel und einen Wasserspender. Im Hotel können Sie Sardinen- und Schildkrötenbeobachtungstouren buchen, inklusive Abholung und Rücktransport durch Tauchlehrer. Außerdem werden Pakete für die Kawasan-Wasserfälle angeboten (inklusive Abholung, Rücktransport und Mittagessen). Da wir älter sind und nicht gerne tauchen, sind wir selbst mit dem Bus gefahren, wieder von der Haltestelle Richtung Bato. Wir haben einfach „Kawasan“ gesagt und man hat uns Bescheid gegeben, wenn wir angekommen sind. Die Kawasan-Wasserfall-Pakete im Hotel sind etwas teurer und beinhalten nicht unbedingt die Hin- und Rückfahrt. Das Hotel bietet auch Motorradverleih an, allerdings ist ein internationaler Führerschein erforderlich.

Has a lot of potential. Location is good and staff were helpful in ordering Tuk tuks to the town and organising day trips. Unfortunately our shower kept going cold but they did do their best to sort it.
