Wallingford homestead was an exceptional stay during our tour of New Zealand. The house is absolutely beautiful and bursting with history. If you appreciate historic homes in a stunning location, I cant recommend this place enough. Jeannette and Chris are wonderful hosts and you really feel like you are welcomed from the moment you pull up to the property. Arthur and Remi were the star guests and if you love dogs, these beauties will follow you around and make you feel right at home. You can really tell Chris puts his heart and soul into the food. Our meals were incredible and there was not a single thing we didn’t enjoy. Everything was made by Chris. Even the bread for breakfast. The grounds are well maintained and provided a sanctuary away from home. The pool area has everything you could need and the water was absolutely perfect temperature. Our only regret was that we only had one night here, we wish we could have stayed for a lot longer.

Very clean. Excellent service. However, as per policy (says the receptionist), I was surprised why they have to swipe my card even though i have already paid online, which I didn’t allow, because I have had a bad experience with card scam thus I have to deposit $200NZD which was returned upon checking out (after they checked the room). The stove’s exhaust and overhead light weren’t functioning. There were only 2 chairs inside 2 hand towels and 2 flannels though a triple (good for 3 adults) room was booked. Good enough the TV was at first soundless that we found out that the inn’s black book weren’t there. We could have been charged for its loss if the receptionist didn’t look for it the night before we checked out. There was a room price disparity of of $16NZD more or less which I paid online and the actual receipt at the inn. The online booking was $16NZD more expensive.

Highly recommenad staying at the Spanish Lady staff were amazing we had a great stay in our 2bdrm unit it's an older style could do with a bit of paint to upgrade but beds were comfortable kitchen was well equipped with oven an stove top cooking utensils dishes etc. Shower toilet well stocked with towels complimentary shampoo/conditioner handwash toilet paper very clean. We stayed 2days and enjoyed our time only downside for us was the window in the toilet glass shutters allowed cold air into the room as well as a security issue for me. Overall stay was excellent access to laundry an if it was warmer weather the pool and spa would of been absolute tops for us as a family. Close to shops supermarket and city centre. Thank you Spanish Lady we will definitely come back again when in Napier

Sehr schönes Hotel, leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen mit der Ausstattung. Sauberkeit war ok, aber fremde Haare sind nie schön im Bett oder in der Badewanne zu finden. Leider kein TV im Schlafzimmer, was etwas blöd für die heutige Zeit ist, die Sessel vor dem Tv sehr unbequem/dreckig/alt. Whirlpool mitten im Raum ist natürlich ein anderer Luxus. :)

Wir haben hier 3 Nächte geblieben. Ich kann jedem, der zu Napier kommen will, versichern, wir hatten eine gute Erfahrung, in diesem Hotel in allen Aspekten zu bleiben, sauber, Lage in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums 5 Minuten zu Fuß, Abrechnen und Pack n sparen nur 2 Minuten entfernt. Strand ist nur 7 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt. Sushi Shop nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Alles, was Sie wollen, ist in der Nähe. Sie werden gerne in diesem Hotel bleiben. Das Hotelpersonal ist super auf Ihre Anforderungen achten. Alle schlechten Bewertungen, die ich sagen kann, scheinen irrelevant. Keine von ihnen haben wir hier gefährdet.

Very clean and quiet. WiFi, while free would not allow streaming, and access to some other general sites such as NZ Parliament. So used mobile data. Some utensils and cockery need updating and replacing e g. chipped cockery and missing spoons. No Sky Movie channels and one documentary channel - but plenty of sports channels. Only the plus side friendly greeting from reception and good value for money deal. Bed was comfortable, and not much noise from road. The small courtyard out the back was nice to sit in.

Brilliant place to stay. Very clean and very big space. Everything we needed.  Very friendly staff.

Das Zimmer ist sauber und sauber, die Sicht ist offen, das Fenster kann das Meer sehen, die andere Straße ist das Meer, die Luft ist frisch. Besonders ein Kellner namens Linda. Ihr Lächeln gibt dem Gast das Gefühl, dass er zurückkehrt. Das Leben ist nicht bekannt. Ich fragte sie nach der Straße und dem Flughafen, um die Aufmerksamkeit zu schenken. Ich fragte das Restaurant und so weiter. Ich habe mir rechtzeitig einen sorgfältigen Service gegeben. Besonders danke 🍒 Das Hotel-Restaurant ist auch sehr gut.

最近開始換季 晚上的溫差有點大 可能還沒入冬所以沒提供暖氣 晚上睡覺有點冷… 是很冷！🥶 地理位置很不錯 進入市區只需要5分鐘非常方便👍🏼 有點疑惑的是櫃檯跟我拿信用卡核對信息 也看太細了… 最近會盯緊一點有沒有出現盜刷的情況~(希望是我自己有被害妄想症🤣

Ein ausgezeichneter Aufenthalt, ein wirklich schönes Zimmer mit Whirlpool. Toilette und Badezimmer waren in Ordnung, allerdings mit einer altmodischen Spülung – man muss kräftig drücken. Die Dusche war toll, der Duschkopf hatte einen sehr kräftigen Strahl. Insgesamt war es super. Ich würde gerne wiederkommen und hier übernachten. Vielen Dank.
