We stayed at Grand Waterworld Makadi as a family of four, two adults and two children aged 4 and 5, and the hotel honestly exceeded our expectations. We arrived around 12:00 PM and had a very smooth check-in. The reception was calm and organized, and a special thanks to Mr. Mohamed Sabry, who was extremely welcoming, professional, and helpful. We received welcome drinks and were in our room within about 10 to 15 minutes. Without even asking, Mr. Mohamed Sabry arranged a very convenient room for us, close to the kids' aqua park, restaurants, and elevator. Since the resort is very large and we had two young children, this made a huge difference. The room was very spacious, more like a suite than a standard room, with a living area and two sofas that could be used as beds for the children. The furniture is a little old, especially the wood, but it was not a problem for us. The room was comfortable and practical. We also found a welcome plate of desserts, fruit, and soft drinks in the room, which was a very nice touch. The food was very good. The main Sun and Sand restaurants had a good variety, and everything felt clean and fresh. The staff were always smiling, helpful, and attentive, especially with the children. The à la carte restaurants were one of the highlights of our stay. There are Mexican, Italian, Kebab, Vino, and German options. Mr. Mohamed Sabry helped us arrange our dinner reservations during our four-night stay. The Kebab restaurant had very good grilled food, and our favorite was definitely the Italian restaurant. The steak was excellent, and the table service made it feel like dining in a proper restaurant. The snack options were also excellent. Places like the African and Tropical restaurants work more like proper restaurants, where you sit down, order from a menu, and the food is served to your table. There were also plenty of options for children throughout the day, including ice cream, waffles, pancakes, popcorn, juices, and snacks. Bottled water and drinks were always easy to find. The kids' aqua park was fantastic and one of the best we have experienced in a resort. There are many slides and pools, and our children loved it. Safety was taken seriously, with lifeguards present throughout the area. At one point I mentioned to a supervisor that one slide area was getting crowded, and he immediately added another lifeguard. I really appreciated the quick response. The resort also has many different pools, including a wave pool and a sandy beach-style pool area. The landscaping is beautiful, with plenty of greenery, palm trees, shaded areas, and attractive Islamic-inspired architecture. The beach was another major highlight. It is sandy, clean, beautiful, and directly accessible from the resort. There were plenty of sunbeds, so it never felt overcrowded. Snorkeling was also surprisingly good because you can see fish and marine life even in relatively shallow water without having to swim far out. But the number one thing that made this hotel special was definitely the staff. From reception to the restaurants, beach, aqua park, lifeguards, and pool teams, everyone was friendly, smiling, and genuinely trying to make guests happy. I have stayed at several very good resorts before, including Albatros hotels, so my expectations were already high. Grand Waterworld Makadi exceeded them, and personally I enjoyed this stay even more than Albatros Portofino. For families with young children, I highly recommend this hotel. Great staff, excellent aqua park, beautiful beach, very good food, plenty of snacks and drinks, spacious rooms, and a relaxing atmosphere. We had a wonderful four-night stay and would definitely consider coming back again. Special thanks again to Mr. Mohamed Sabry and all the staff who made our holiday so enjoyable.

Das teuerste Hotel dieser Ägyptenreise war in Hurghada. Ich habe mich immer nach dem Roten Meer und dem Komfort eines All-Inclusive-Hotels gesehnt, und mit einem Preis von unter 1400 für Getränke, alle drei Mahlzeiten ist das im Vergleich zu den Malediven ein unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass der Hafen dreißig Kilometer entfernt ist, wenn man eine Bootstour buchen möchte, und die Reisebüros wollen einen nicht abholen. Man muss zusätzlich 200 bis 250 ägyptische Pfund pro Person bezahlen. Eine Taxifahrt dorthin kostete mich das günstigste Mal knapp 200 und das teuerste Mal 250 ägyptische Pfund. Wenn man also einfach nur im Hotel entspannen möchte, ist All-Inclusive super, aber wenn man Bootstouren machen will, sollte man kein All-Inclusive-Hotel buchen. Die täglichen Mahlzeiten variierten leicht, die Beilagen blieben jedoch größtenteils gleich. Es gab keine besonders deftigen Gerichte, es sah zwar reichlich aus, aber viele Chinesen sind das nicht gewohnt. Zum Glück gab es immer Reis, das Rindfleisch war oft etwas zäh, aber ich mochte die zweimal gegessenen gegrillten Garnelen sehr. Beim Auschecken sagte ich zum Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption: „Check-out…“ Er tat überrascht und fragte: „Oh, why?“ Ich sagte: „Kann ich es kostenlos haben, haha.“ Sie scheinen Chinesen sehr zu mögen, und die Restaurantmitarbeiter, die vorbeigingen, kamen immer, um mit uns zu plaudern.

Obwohl es sich noch um eine Soft-Eröffnung handelte, haben wir den Aufenthalt als sehr gut empfunden. Alles ist tadellos in Ordnung und es gab immer das gewisse Extra. Ein wunderschönes Zimmer, Essen und Getränke von höchster Qualität. Ein tolles Animationsteam und das gesamte Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Obwohl wir eigentlich die Ruhe lieben, werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Wir haben wunderschöne Erinnerungen geschaffen ❤️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Grand Resort Hurghada und kommen gerne wieder. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich hervorragend. Für einen günstigen Preis bekommt man eine schöne Hotelanlage, freundliches Personal und eine sehr gute Lage. Restaurants, Geschäfte und die Promenade sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders positiv überrascht hat uns das WLAN: Es funktioniert im gesamten Hotel, sodass man nahezu überall eine stabile Internetverbindung hat – das ist längst nicht in jedem Hotel selbstverständlich. Die Anlage ist gepflegt, die Atmosphäre angenehm und das Essen abwechslungsreich. Insgesamt ist das Grand Resort eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die einen entspannten Urlaub in Hurghada verbringen möchten, ohne viel Geld auszugeben.

Wir waren Anfang März 2025 dort. Das Hotelkonzept hat uns sehr gut gefallen: flache Häuser im marokkanischen Stil, eine wunderschöne Umgebung (man merkt, dass viel Mühe investiert wurde) und ein recht großer Strand mit feinem Sand und gutem Zugang zum Wasser. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch das Animationsteam ist großartig und bemüht sich sehr, die Gäste zu unterhalten. Es ist das einzige Hotel in Ägypten, das ich kenne, das Tomatensaft serviert. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannend, besonders abends am Pool. Das Essen ist gut, aber wir waren außerhalb der Saison dort. Ich denke, wenn Restaurant und Bar ausgebucht sind, gibt es Wartezeiten, aber die sind nicht sehr lang. Ich kann dieses Hotel allen empfehlen, die einen ruhigen und komfortablen Urlaub verbringen möchten.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Stay at The Grand Hotel Hurghada (24/7 – 30/7) I had an absolutely wonderful stay at **The Grand Hotel Hurghada** from **July 24th to July 30th**, and I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team for making our vacation truly memorable. The **food** was simply outstanding. The quality, taste, and unbelievable variety exceeded all expectations. Every meal offered something new and delicious, making dining one of the highlights of our stay. The **staff** deserve special recognition. Every single member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They were always smiling and genuinely happy to help, serving guests with dedication and pleasure. Their positive attitude made us feel at home from the very first day. A special thank you goes to **Mr. Nader** at the Reception. He is, without a doubt, one of the best hotel reception managers I have ever met. He is highly professional, courteous, and an excellent problem-solver. Any issue was handled quickly and efficiently, always with a smile. I would also like to thank **Mr. Mohamed Moawad** from the Food & Beverage Department. He is one of the finest professionals at the hotel—extremely humble, welcoming, respectful, and genuinely caring about the guests' comfort. Another person who deserves special praise is **Chef Mahmoud**. He is simply one of the best. His passion and dedication are reflected in the outstanding quality of the food served throughout the resort. The team at the **Eastern Restaurant** was exceptional. They were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. **Mostafa** and **Ashraf** and **Mohamed**deserve special recognition for their excellent service and kindness. Dining there was always a wonderful experience. The **Room Service** was also excellent. **Majed** is a kind-hearted gentleman who serves guests with genuine dedication, professionalism, and a cheerful attitude. His hard work did not go unnoticed. The **beach** is beautiful, sandy, clean, and perfect for families. There were always plenty of available sunbeds and enough space for everyone to relax comfortably without feeling crowded. The hotel offers a great selection of restaurants: * The International Restaurant next to the Reception. * The Pasta Restaurant on the second floor. * The Eastern Restaurant with its outdoor grill near the Reception. * The large white beach restaurant serving Shawarma, Burgers, Hot Dogs, and Pizza. * Another beach restaurant serving snacks and French fries. Every one of these restaurants offered excellent food and service. The only point I would suggest improving is the **swimming pool area**. The hotel has only one main pool, which is not enough considering the large number of guests staying at the resort. Overall, my family and I had an outstanding holiday. The excellent hospitality, delicious food, beautiful beach, and the genuine kindness of the staff made this one of our best vacations. I highly recommend **The Grand Hotel Hurghada** and look forward to returning again.

泄湖景完全是來搞笑的，所謂泄湖就是個小水泡，陽臺中間還隔着一段距離和樹擋着，跟其他評論一樣，存在一定的歧視，但是大部份工作人員還是挺友善的，雖然這本來就是他們應該做的。中間想加錢升級海景，帶我們去看的也還是一個稍微大一點的水泡而已，工作人員告訴我這已經是最好的海景房了，最後並沒有升級，泳池開放時間特別晚關閉時間卻很早，如果要出海這家酒店完全沒必要，吃的甚至不如國內100塊錢人民幣的自助餐，基本都靠吃麪包吃飽的，我們拿行李小費給了一美金態度還可以，同行的另一對沒有零錢了給了10埃磅態度就很差，對於一家五星級酒店這種事不應該發生，還是建議加錢選擇更好的全包酒店，或者普通的全包，想省錢或者出海沒有時間在酒店那就市區選擇一家便宜的就好了，這邊出行也並不方便，最後，我們check out的時候工作人員態度非常好，忘記問他的名字了，當看到我們自己拿行李過來了一直在向我道歉，告訴我他們應該安排擺渡車過來接我們的，海邊和泳池邊工作人員也很好，太陽下山後我們想去游泳，海邊的工作人員告訴我太陽下山後海里很危險，並且開玩笑説會有鯊魚，泳池邊的工作人員很耐心的告訴我泳池關閉了，要消毒，會傷眼睛，總的來説，真的不值這個價

Das Hotel ist zwar nicht neu, aber alles war in Ordnung: Möbel, Renovierung, Bettwäsche – ohne gravierende Mängel. Das Internet ist gut, das Essen trifft jeden Geschmack, erreicht aber natürlich nicht „exzellent“, also ein gutes Durchschnittsniveau. Der Strand ist schön, der Einstieg ist flach, es ist ein langer Spaziergang entlang des Piers, aber am Ende gibt es Korallen und viele Fische! Sogar bei einem Seeausflug, bei dem wir weit aufs Meer hinausfuhren, gab es weniger Fische. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit beim Schnorcheln. Das Hotel ist überwiegend französisch, es gibt nicht viele Kinder und es ist nicht laut. Es hängen viele Leute an den Pools herum. Wir waren am Meer und sind keine Pool-Fans. Insgesamt ist der Eindruck gut, der Budgeturlaub ist ausgezeichnet.

Zum dritten Mal in diesem Hotel. und jedes Mal angenehm überraschen. Trotz der Tatsache, dass das alte Hotel immer gereinigt wurde, wurde das Hauptrestaurant gereinigt. Sie kochen köstlich ... besonders leckeres Rindfleisch und Fisch. Verschieden. Reinigung jeden Tag. Trinkwasser im Zimmer. Der Strand ist sauber, sauber. Nettes und höfliches Personal. Für 3 *** ist es durchaus würdig ... und ich weiß, wovon ich schreibe. Wer preiswert Erholung braucht, kann bedenkenlos buchen

Ich war Ende November und Anfang Dezember mit meiner Familie dort. Ich hatte das Glück, einen Rabatt zu ergattern, daher war der Preis für 15 Tage All-inclusive unglaublich attraktiv. Meine gesamte Bewertung basiert also darauf, dass es für diesen Preis der beste Urlaub überhaupt war. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Ich liebe Spaziergänge und konnte die Moschee, den Yachthafen und alle Geschäfte bequem erreichen. Der Strand ist toll. Das Korallenriff war absolut atemberaubend! Ich habe noch nie so viele bunte, wunderschöne Fische in einem Aquarium gesehen. Das Essen war gut; ich bin nicht wählerisch. Es gab genug für alle, sogar mehr als genug. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt. Ja, die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber ich wiederhole: Für den Preis war es einfach genial.
