the base rooms in the old section of the building were very small, and there was no ventilation. thess rooms were just under their restaurant and was separate from the building that was shown in the pictures. since we were two females travelling the hotel ”upgraded” me to an ”executive” room which was in the new section of the hotel. that room was even smaller with one 5×4 bed and just enough space to pass through. the only advantage was it was in the new section and didn't look secluded. breakfast options were very limited. the best thing about the hotel was it's location. situated in the heart of fort kochi, it is very close to the fort kochi beach and other attractions.

Our stay at Prayana Hotel in Ernakulam was overall a really good experience, mainly because of the warm hospitality and excellent service provided by the staff. Right from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The welcome drink was a refreshing touch, setting the tone for a pleasant stay. The reception team was efficient and courteous, handling check-in smoothly and ensuring we had all the necessary details about our stay. A special mention to the bellboys, who were extremely helpful and always had a smile on their faces. Their attentiveness made a great impression. The hotel’s location is a big plus. It is conveniently situated, making it easy to get around the city, whether for sightseeing, shopping, or business. The accessibility and surroundings added to the overall positive experience. While we truly appreciated the service, there were a few areas that could be improved. The restaurant at the bottom of the hotel didn’t offer much variety in terms of food options, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been great to have more choices, especially for those staying longer. The rooms did not have kettles, which is something many travellers look forward to for a quick cup of tea or coffee. Bathing cubes (shower enclosures) were missing, making the bathroom experience a little less convenient. We also faced an issue with towels not being provided even after requesting them, which was a small letdown. That being said, the staff’s dedication and the overall comfort of the stay overshadowed these minor inconveniences. Their attentiveness, polite behaviour, and willingness to help made all the difference. Despite a few missing amenities, the hospitality and prime location make Prayana Hotel a great choice for travellers. We appreciate the warmth and care shown to us and would definitely consider staying again in the future!

I was weary about booking as the website photos looked quite tired. All of the photos are really old - it was an amazing stay and so much better than I expected. I enjoyed the complementary pottery making and the tea cart in the afternoons. The food à la carte was absolutely delicious. I avoided the buffet a bit as I do in all hotels. The pool is clean and there is excellent service, with staff helping you with towels, umbrellas, and drinks. The rooms are really pretty. Good air con. The gym is good and has air con although the air con is not as powerful as in the bedrooms. The gym has two treadmills, a static bike, basic leg press, weight rack and bench, and some of the arm/shoulder machines too. There were only a few downsides. 1) The beach that it backs onto is actually quite gross (there was nappy in the sand and gunk that looked like sewage), but it’s easy to avoid this. 2) The beach has a real drop from the sand into sea so it’s not very safe to swim in unless you want to be smacked against the bank. These two things don’t matter though as the hotel is lovely and there is enough to do that you don’t need to go on the beach. 3) I booked 2 nights in one booking and 1 night in another booking. I asked when I booked the single, third night, whether I can keep the same room. They said they’d let me know at check in.  They didn’t let me know at check in. They said they’d tell me on the second day in the day, but nothing. I kept asking at reception and I called them on the phone twice, and they kept saying they’d call me back. It was 9.30pm on the night before I’d have to move rooms before they told me I could stay. I’m not really sure why it took so long or they messed me around on this as 3 of my exact rooms were available on the website for those nights, so by that logic it would not have been a problem!

I recently stayed at Time Square Hotel and had a mostly enjoyable experience. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. They were attentive and went out of their way to ensure my comfort and convenience throughout my stay. The room itself was lovely – clean, spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable, offering a wonderful retreat after a day of exploring the city. It was evident that the hotel takes great pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Breakfast at the hotel was reasonable, with a decent selection of items that catered to different tastes. While it wasn't the most extensive buffet I've encountered, the quality of the food was good, and it provided a solid start to the day. However, my stay wasn't without its issues. The most persistent problem was the constant cold calls from the hotel's spa. Receiving these calls almost daily became quite bothersome. It's something the hotel management might want to reconsider or at least provide guests with the option to opt out of such communications. Additionally, there was an unfortunate incident with one of the staff members who berated me for not informing them in advance that I would be missing the buffet breakfast on one occasion. This abruptness was surprising and not in line with the otherwise excellent service standard set by the rest of the team. In summary, my stay at Time Square Hotel was delightful on many fronts, with commendable staff, lovely accommodations, and reasonable dining options. However, the spa's marketing tactics and the isolated incident with a staff member did mar the overall experience slightly. I hope the hotel takes this feedback into consideration to ensure an even more pleasant and seamless experience for future guests

Fantastische Erfahrung. Fabelhaftes Essen und bescheidenes, freundliches Personal. Zimmer und Außen des Gebäudes, obwohl groß, könnte so viel besser mit einem Mantel von Farbe und kleinen Bleiproblemen gelöst zusätzlich zu der Entfernung von Farben aus den Außenkühlschranken. Ich würde dieses Hotel definitiv empfehlen. Große Lage. Wir haben auch das Hausboot geleistet und das war der Höhepunkt unserer Reise. Die Nahrung war für einen König geeignet und wir hatten unsere eigene Koch mit 3 anderen Leuten warten auf uns! Eine muss für alle Gäste tun.

Bewertung von O von Tamara Hotel Bewertung: 3.5/5 Sterne O von Tamara bietet eine Geschichte von zwei Erfahrungen: die Einrichtungen verdienen eine solide 4 Sterne, während die Servicestandards um 3 Sterne schwimmen schaffen einen interessanten Kontrast, den das Management zu behandeln. Die gute: Die Einrichtungen des Hotels sind wirklich ausgezeichnet und wertvoll. Die Infrastruktur und Einrichtungen spiegeln eine bedenkliche Design- und Qualitätsinvestition wider. Die Herausforderung: Die Serviceausführung entspricht leider nicht den Standards der Anlage. Während unseres Aufenthalts haben wir uns wiederholte Anfragen mehrmals gefunden, sei es im Restaurant oder mit allgemeinem Hotelpersonal. Der Frühstücksservice war besonders unterhaltsam in unvorhergesehener Weise: Das Personal zeigte, was ich ”Brownischen Bewegung Gastfreundschaft” nennen würde, aber nicht immer in produktiver Richtung. Die Objekte wurden häufig vergessen, und die Folgemaßnahmen wurden häufiger notwendig als erwartet. Die Betrifft: Wir haben einen späten Checkout bis 1:00 Uhr beantragt. Das Frontdesk genehmigte nur eine Erweiterung 30-minute, aber unser Rechnung reflektierte einen späten Checkout 2-hour. Diese Diskrepanz erfordert sofortige Aufmerksamkeit von der Verwaltung. Empfehlungen: Die Unterkunft würde von einer umfassenden Personalumbildung profitieren, um die Servicequalität mit den ausgezeichneten Einrichtungen zu vergleichen. Zusätzlich könnten Zimmer und Gemeinderäume Renovierungen zur Aufrechterhaltung des allgemeinen Standards nutzen. Unterlinie: Die Einrichtungen machen dieses Hotel wert, aber das Managementteam muss in Service-Training und Betriebskonsistenz investieren. Mit diesen Verbesserungen könnte O von Tamara leicht zu einem Stand-out-Eigentum werden. Ich hoffe weiterhin, dass die Verwaltung diese Bedenken unverzüglich angehen wird. Das ist alles!!

Das Hotel wurde in den letzten fünf Tagen zweimal im Hotel untergebracht und die Mitarbeiter waren bei beiden Gelegenheiten sehr gut betreut. Sie waren höflich, aufmerksam und sehr hilfreich während unseres Aufenthalts, so dass unsere Erfahrung angenehm und komfortabel. Wir schätzen wirklich ihre Professionalität und warme Gastfreundschaft.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Aber super Service und es reicht für einen Zwischenstopp, es ist zu Fuß in ca. 30 min erreichbar.

We were in Kovalam at this property for a week. First things first, the rooms we got were nice, had a decent balcony overlooking the front of the property, the air conditioning and hot water worked well. It is really close to a wonderful beach, some small shops and local food joints and only a short walk away from a quiet beach and spots that you could enjoy. The property itself had a lot of work going on, so I can understand that they were preparing for a major tourist season and it might become better. The pool was dry and I was hoping that I'd get to enjoy some pool time but that did not happen. Perhaps due to the low tourist season, the restaurant had limited dish choices but the food was good. The staff is very sweet and nice but the hotel can do with some more thorough upgrades with housekeeping, such as providing fresh towels timely and so on. Otherwise, the hotel is nice but my family and I felt that for the price we paid, we could have gotten more for the price. Nevertheless, it is a good and decent hotel, I wouldn't keep high expectations. It will certainly get 10/10 for it's location and sweet staff. This is not to reflect on the hotel management or staff directly or negatively but it would be nice if they set ground rules for some big tourist groups they get, particularly the Gujarati tour groups, in reminding them of maintaining the calm and quiet on the property. Again, it is more about the tourist behavior than anything on the hotel itself.

Das Hotel hat eine Nacht geblieben und es war eine tolle Erfahrung. Das Personal ist freundlich und freundlich; immer bereit, zu helfen!  Das Hotel wird vom Flughafen sehr empfohlen.
