Neben dem Terminal T5 gibt es eine Tankstelle und einen kleinen Supermarkt gegenüber. Es ist relativ bequem, die Stadt morgens zu verlassen, und es wird nicht zu voll sein. Es ist eine Autostunde von der Stadt entfernt und viele Reisegruppen entscheiden sich für einen Aufenthalt hier. Das Zimmer ist sehr durchschnittlich. Bei der Buchung wurde gezeigt, dass es einen kleinen Kühlschrank gibt, aber tatsächlich ist dieser nicht vorhanden! Wir checkten bei meiner Tochter ein, aber unerwartet wurde uns ein Zustellbett gegeben. Die Klimaanlage durfte nicht heiß sein, daher war die Steppdecke auf dem Zustellbett praktisch. Das Wasser im Badezimmer lief sehr langsam ab, bevor ich mit dem Baden fertig war. Mineralwasser, Hausschuhe und Toilettenartikel sind im Zimmer nicht vorhanden. Sie müssen Ihren eigenen Adapter für die Steckdose im Zimmer mitbringen. Neben dem Waschbecken befindet sich eine Steckdose, die mit Ladesteckern für Apple-Handys verwendet werden kann. In der Nähe des Waschbeckens besteht Angst vor Wasser. Achten Sie daher bitte auf die Sicherheit wenn man es benutzt! Das Frühstück kann man nur als sättigend bezeichnen. Ob es schmeckt oder nicht, hängt vom persönlichen Geschmack ab. Die Frühstückszeit ist von 6:30 bis 10:30 Uhr.

We stayed here because it had a pool and we enjoy a swim and breakfast was part of the deal. Even though we forgot to mention mobility issues the staff changed our room without an issue. The hotel was cool and so was the room, and that was without using the air conditioning. There is no lift so bear that in mind. The breakfast had a good mix of cooked English and you can have your eggs cooked as you want them. I asked for a decaf flat white and one was made for me. A bigger mug too, the usual ones are a bit small. There is fruit, plain yogurt, ham and cheese slices and olives so something for everyone. The staff are friendly and helpful and went to get more pastries for us when they had run out. If a coach tour is in then make sure you don't arrive too late, as a lot will be gone. The food wasn't greasy and we enjoyed the variety. We used the pool and there are men's and women's changing but no disabled facilities or family changing areas. Be aware of that although there is one larger changing room most of the space and showers are open. You will need a pound coin if you want to lock your locker, but we mainly swan in the morning and there were only one or two others in the pool. It's a spa pool so not too deep. There is a gym room too, but I didn't use that. The usual work out equipment was on display. You can also book spa treatments but those are extra. Pool and gym free to guests. We would gave tried an evening meal but there was a hotel power cut and so we left early. We would definitely use this hotel again, we slept well and the bed is comfy with usb charging sockets and proper reading lights near the bed. The bistro-like round table and two chairs were much appreciated. Parking us £5 a day, which us cheaper than some hotels. There is also a hairdryer and iron in the room and the TV has modern with Freeview channels available. The bar area has comfortable seating and was showing the matches as well as the news in the morning. No subtitles though, which would have helped. As I said the only criticism was that our sink was cracked, and didn't hold water well and there is a bath shower, rather than a walk in shower unit.

Being a 4 star hotel, I would have expected someone to escort us to the room at least. It was a bit difficult to navigate to look for our rooms at the end of a tiring day after visiting legoland and we had a hungry toddler in tow. In addition, the breakfast buffet could be extended to be more inclusive. I would prefer a holiday inn breakfast over this. Being 4 star, I'd expect better. I have experienced hotels within UK and internationally but this one is just similar to any decent holiday inn branch in UK. I have seen better 3 star hotels. Hence, I had higher expectations in terms of service and breakfast. Everything was oridinary and fine like any hotel. We had no time to check out any facility such as swimming pool so cannot comment on that.

We booked via Trip and ended up with a room that didn’t exist. I rang the day before to check everything was okay with our booking and unfortunately this led to us being downgraded to a room we could barely get into it was so crowded. We were told to recoup costs via Trip, when I said this wasn’t acceptable to me the hotel sorted it out for us. Upgrading us for the next night and being very generous with supplements. Although this was a bit frustrating I felt they did what they could. The service was great at the hotel desk and the waitress was so lovely on Saturday night. Nothing was too much and the rooms were warm and snuggly. Bathrooms well specced and the food delicious. It was a busy weekend but there was a real sense of the hotel staff working together and like a swan, peddling hard underneath but smile and calm on top. Wir haben für einen Kurztrip mit zwei Freunden nach Windsor Castle eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht. Die Lage war zwar nicht im Zentrum, aber gut zu erreichen. Wir sind etwa 30 Minuten zum Hotel und weitere 30 Minuten zum Schloss gelaufen, das in einer wirklich schönen Gegend liegt. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr schön: große, bequeme Betten, ein guter Fernseher (allerdings haben wir den Fire TV Stick vergessen und es war wohl kein Smart-TV), Tee, Kaffee und ein Wasserkocher waren vorhanden. Das Badezimmer war sauber, nur das Warmwasser ließ sich etwas schwer bedienen. Insgesamt hat uns das Hotel sehr gut gefallen, abgesehen davon, dass die Kinder unserer Nachbarn sehr laut waren und wir kaum schlafen konnten. Vielleicht lag es an der Verbindungstür zwischen unseren Zimmern (die zwar abgeschlossen war), aber wir konnten die Eltern gegen Mitternacht reden hören und die Kinder wachten um 5 Uhr morgens schreiend auf! An eine gute Nachtruhe war also nicht zu denken. Ich denke, mit einem anderen Zimmer ohne Verbindungstür wäre alles in Ordnung gewesen. Das Personal war sehr nett. Als wir es am nächsten Tag erwähnten, meinte sie, sie hätten uns das Zimmer gewechselt, aber es machte ja keinen Sinn, um 5 Uhr morgens das Zimmer zu wechseln, da wir erst um 10 Uhr auscheckten. Außerdem hatte ich meine Zahnbürste vergessen, und sie gaben mir ein süßes kleines Zahnputzset mit Zahnbürste und Zahnpasta! Ich kann das Hotel empfehlen, aber fragen Sie vorher nach, ob Ihr Zimmer Verbindungstüren hat, da Sie das vielleicht vermeiden möchten.

First receptionist we dealt with was really nice but then she had to ask a colleague for help with our check in and she was extremely rude. Having booked an executive room, we were told we didnt get access to the executive lounge as hadn't booked direct. Load of rubbish. Went to our room, quick call to Hilton Customer Care and they confirmed we did have executive lounge access so went back to reception. The hotel is really comfortable, big spacious rooms, nice beds, bathrooms with shower and bath. Water wasn't free even in executive rooms which was a bit of a shock (£2.50 a bottle). Executive lounge was nice but service much cut back from last time I stayed at few years ago. Fridges empty most of the day, snacks not topped up. Dirty cups everywhere etc. Evening snacks was good but again, reduced compared to what they used to offer. Spirits and prosecco was a nice touch though. Breakfast served in the restaurant for executive room guests. Really nice selection, mostly buffet but eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Nice coffee. Staff on the whole are really friendly and welcoming (apart from the receptionist on day one). We had 3 nights here and enjoyed it. There is a shuttle bus from terminal 5 to the hotel door which is £6.80 per person or you can take bus number 5 which stops on the road outside the hotel for £1.50. If staying more than one night, there is buses to Windsor, legoland, Slough and hounslow (for the tube to central london).

We had a lovely stay at this hotel – it was conveniently close to Windsor town centre, making it easy to explore the area. The sofa bed was perfect for our two young kids, spacious and comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. Would definitely stay again!

I really enjoyed my stay. I arrived quite late after a long and exhausting day, but the receptionist, who I believe was called Anna-Marie, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She genuinely went the extra mile to assist me, which I really appreciated. The room was very clean, the service was efficient, and overall, I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. The facilities were well-maintained, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the overall service was of a very high standard. I would especially like to commend Kiran at reception for her outstanding professionalism and support. She ensured that our check-in process was seamless and efficient, addressing everything with a warm and courteous approach. Her attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service truly enhanced our stay. Overall, a great experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

A Wonderful Stay at the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel We recently stayed in the Windsor House section of the hotel and were thoroughly impressed. The cleanliness stood out immediately — everything from the bed to the bathroom was spotless, making it feel like a true home away from home. It’s rare to feel so comfortable using hotel facilities without hesitation, but this room was truly impeccable. The location is ideal — just by the riverside and within easy walking distance of Windsor & Eton Riverside Station, Côte Brasserie, and the boat tours. Windsor Castle is only a pleasant 15-minute walk away, making it perfect for sightseeing. The service throughout our stay was excellent. From the warm welcome at reception to the helpful and friendly cleaning staff, every interaction felt genuinely caring and professional. Our stay included breakfast, which was a generous British buffet with a wide variety of hot and cold options, including pastries, fresh fruit, and more. There were plenty of drink choices with refills available, and the coffee was lovely — a great way to start the day. In conclusion, we highly recommend the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel. We were extremely pleased with our experience and will definitely be returning in the future.
