We had a truly wonderful one-night stay at YIQIYIHUI (一期一会)! The apartment was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The decor created such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere — it genuinely felt like a home away from home. The host was very friendly and responsive, making our check-in and overall experience smooth and hassle-free. Location-wise, it was perfect — peaceful yet close enough to all the attractions we wanted to visit. We especially appreciated the little touches like complimentary mineral water, fast Wi-Fi, and the super comfy bed! Would highly recommend YIQIYIHUI to anyone visiting Johor Bahru. We can’t wait to come back again for a longer stay!

Stayed at this hotel for a friend's wedding in town and was initially assigned a queen room, which unfortunately was not as depicted in the photo.. Queen bed room was dusty and unkept with poor airconditioning. I subsequently updated to the king's room and it was so much better. Overall I would still recommend this hotel for its good food choices available within the area.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations in several areas. Firstly, the soundproofing in the room was very poor. I could clearly hear the TV from the next room late night, which made it difficult to sleep. It’s surprising for a hotel of this standard not to address basic noise insulation. Another point of disappointment was the pillow options. Unlike the hotel next door, this one didn’t offer any hard or buckwheat pillows. When I requested a firmer pillow, housekeeping sent a memory foam pillow — but without a pillowcase. I had to request one separately and put it on myself, which felt like something the staff should have handled. Next disappointing moment was with the concierge. During the first two nights, the staff simply asked for my car number and handled the carpark access efficiently. But later in the stay, when I provided my car plate, the response was just, “You scan QR code will do,” with no explanation or courtesy. It came off as rude, especially compared to the initial experience. On the positive side, the front office, breakfast café, and car park staff were pleasant and helpful. They were professional and made those parts of the stay smoother. Overall, there are areas for improvement, especially regarding service consistency, soundproofing, and pillow amenities. I hope the hotel takes this feedback constructively. Thank you.

Our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton was nothing but awesome. The room is nice and clean, bed is just nice with the pillows softness fits to our liking. Only complain is they didn’t put shaving kit and no towel, dental kita and slippers for our son. Overall, we had a relaxing stay, celebrating our love with the family. We had the pleasure of enjoying the seafood dinner buffet at Makan Kitchen, and my family and I were delighted with the wide variety of seafood dishes—ranging from Indian, Malaysian, Chinese, Japanese to Western cuisine, and the choices of fresh oysters, shellfish, fish sashimi, etc. Even my son had a great time sampling all the different flavors! The service was excellent, the staff from reception, room service and dining were corteous and ready to serve with a smile. We will definitely come back and stay here again.

Our first time staying at Z hotel. They has fufil our requests and we are grateful. The bed and pillow are comfortable in our opinion. It is very quiet and we hardly hear noises from the road maybe we are on high floor. Sound proof is a little bad from others closing door. It will not stop me from returning again. Its near the food street and a couple mins fr citysq.

For a one night quick stop this was a decent hotel to stay based on the budget. It was no frills. And location is great for those who drive. Nearby shops such as the picture below.

Neues Hotel und der Aufenthalt wert, aber für 1 Person Hotelzimmer ist wirklich klein. Nachbarschaft chinesisches Essen ist auch in der Umgebung erhältlich. Am Abend 1 indisches Restaurant ist gerade im Gegenteil des Hotels geöffnet.

Lage nahe des Stadtzentrums, umgeben von Baustellen. Ambiente daher nicht so schön. Frühstücksbüffet ist reichhaltig, das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung war lediglich ein barrierefreies Zimmer verfügbar, daher waren Badezimmer und Raum großzügig ausgefallen. Die Matratze war steinhart, das Bett mit ca. 180 cm Länge für europäische Körpergrößen zu kurz. Das Fenster war in einem schmalen Nebengang zu finden. Das Hauptzimmer in 501 hat kein Fenster! Sehr beklemmend. Siehe Foto. Insgesamt waren zwei getrennte Klimaanlagen vorhanden, so konnte eine zugluftarme Belüftung erfolgen.

Für eine Nacht hier gebucht. Zimmer ist klein und grundsätzlich sauber, aber es gab Kleider am Boden neben dem Bett. Badezimmer hatte ein paar Formen. Das Bett war bequem, aber ich schlief nicht gut, da ich außerhalb des Schlafzimmers Geräusche hörte, z. B. Leute zu Fuß oder die Tür zu schließen. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und der Punkt ist das kostenlose Frühstück (Brötchen, Eier, Tasse Nüsse, heiße Getränke). Die Lage ist auch gut mit vielen Mahlzeiten und Massage um. In der Regel ok für kurzen Aufenthalt.
