Qqmwhttrthe cleanliness of the room itself was fine, but the hotel seemed pretty run-down. the stairwell we took to get to our room was quite dirty (trash remained there for all five days we were there) and had a lot of cobwebs etc. the towels we got the first day had some weird dye on them? one of the days we got our room serviced but they only replaced our towels and did not reset our beds which was strange. it's also relatively far from o'hare compared to some other hotels. however, it's definitely livable and the rooms are quite large

GGastnutzerInsgesamt hatte ich einen guten Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Die Lage war perfekt, in der Nähe von Sehenswürdigkeiten, Supermärkten (Trader Joe’s) und Restaurants. Es war sehr praktisch, mit meiner älteren Mutter zu reisen. Ich habe mich größtenteils sicher gefühlt, bis auf die letzte Nacht, als es gegen 3 Uhr morgens draußen etwas laut wurde. Es gab eine Schlägerei. Während meines viertägigen Aufenthalts wurde mein Zimmer aus irgendeinem Grund nicht gereinigt, aber ich bekam auf Anfrage schnell Wasser, Handtücher usw. Ich kann das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

I was initially quite hesitant to check into this hotel after reading a number of detailed and lengthy negative reviews, especially those highlighting hidden fees and cleanliness issues. However, upon arrival with my partner, I was pleasantly surprised.
The hotel was clean and well-decorated, with a modern and cohesive style. Our check-in process was fast and efficient, and the receptionist was friendly and happy to answer all of our questions—especially about the fees mentioned on the hotel’s website.
One of the main issues people seem to bring up is the so-called “hidden” fees. In my experience, these fees are not actually hidden—they’re listed on the hotel’s official website. That said, they could definitely be communicated more clearly. It’s important to read the fine print when booking and during check-in. While the fees may not be obvious at first glance, the hotel is legally allowed to include them since they are technically disclosed.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, with enough space to hang clothes. There were multiple hangers, and the locker-style closets matched the hotel’s sporty decor. The floor and bathroom were clean overall, though I did spot a spider in the corner of the shower—but nothing alarming.
The downstairs common area includes an open kitchen with a communal fridge and even a crockpot, which was a nice surprise. There were also several games available, like ping pong and air hockey, which makes this place family- and couple-friendly.
Guests are allowed to enjoy drinks provided in the kitchen. If you’re sensitive to noise, particularly trains, I recommend requesting a room farther down the hall on the first floor. Our room was in a quiet spot—I barely noticed the train, and when I did, it was more like soft white noise. Still, bringing earplugs might help if you’re a light sleeper.
Overall, I recommend this hotel. It’s in a nice area, the decor is visually appealing, and the stay was enjoyable. Just be aware of a $120 refundable deposit (if no damage is done to the room) and an additional $50 guest fee. Knowing that ahead of time helps avoid surprises.
I’m very grateful for the pleasant stay and would return again.

SsknoseyThe free breakfast is not a full buffet but a choice of egg and then usually fried potato and beefburger patty or slices of sausage. the rest was tiny yoghurt and bread for toast, or make your own waffles. there is tea coffee and hot chocolate. There was cereal and porridge but sometimes it is made so thin that its not worth eating.
There is no tea in the room, just coffee. The machine had a disposable tray but they ran out so I used the same one for 9 days for tea and coffee (i got teabags from the breakfast room). Housekeeping never supplied what you asked for first time, or even second. If you want something and ask at 2pm, you will get it if you chase a couple of times afterwards by 9-10pm.
There was also alot of messing about with respect to check out time. I am a member of the loyalty programme which is meant to give you an automatic late checkout. The manager gave it to me but then when I went back to ask about extending it further for a fee, it was clear the other guy behind the counter was on a power trip and the day before started saying I shouldnt have got it and as it was the manager, he wouldnt withdraw it but he could and I should only get an hour and be charged $25/hr after that etc. He was just a mean spiteful man who saw an opportunity to cause worry and distress and he did it. I had luggage to store and it was a late flight so I had to know whether to pack to store it to check out at midday, or 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 (they were messing me about with all times) but this is why I gave a 1 star for service. It is not at all professional but childish and spiteful. I had arranged the extended checkout days before and the day before they were messing me about when I had to pack and had a schedule of things to do? The worst service in any hotel I have ever been in. Hilton is no longer a 5 star experience it seems. 1 star for service.

FFazal IOverall, my recent stay at this hotel was a positive experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
The location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to restaurants in walking distance for dining. Despite being so close to these amenities, the hotel itself remained peaceful and quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep.
The room was spacious and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
The breakfast provided by the hotel was basic but satisfying, with a decent selection of options to choose from.
Airport shuttle and price was the main reasons I chose this hotel.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its convenient location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations.

GGastnutzerAchten Sie bei der Buchung dieses Hotels auf Parkgebühren. Das Parken kostet ungefähr 33,00 $ pro Nacht. Das war eine Überraschung für uns, als wir im Hotel ankamen, da das Parken vorher kostenlos war. Wir blieben drei Nächte, also kamen zusätzliche Kosten von 100 $ hinzu. Der Manager konnte uns einen Aktionscode geben, aber dafür muss man seine Daten an einen Drittanbieter weitergeben. Darüber hinaus war der Parkplatz von riesigen Ratten befallen. Am Freitagabend mussten wir weiter vom Hoteleingang entfernt parken, weil der Parkplatz ziemlich voll war und die Ratten auf dem Parkplatz in der Nähe des Müllcontainers herumliefen. Meine Familie und andere Gäste hatten deshalb Angst, zum Eingang zu gehen, und es gab keine andere Möglichkeit, dem Rattenhaufen auszuweichen. Es war eine wirklich schlimme Erfahrung.
Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig.

GGuest UserDieses Hotel schien gut zu sein, aber wir hatten eine große Frage. Nach mehreren Versuche konnten auch das Personal nicht die Schlüsselkarte zu arbeiten. Eine andere Zimmer wurde bereitgestellt, aber leider konnten wir keine Medikamente, Frauenhygieneprodukte, Toiletten, Lebensmittel/Wasser zugreifen. Ich habe Punkte vom Servicescore abgezogen, da wir ohne Updates überlassen wurden, wann Wartung uns helfen würde. Trip Kundenservice berichtete, dass niemand antworten würde, wenn sie uns helfen wollten. Es war nicht, bis ich fragte, dass informiert wurden würden bis zum nächsten Morgen verriegelt werden. Daher musste ich ausgehen und kaufen Bedürfnisse. Trotz der Kosten und Unannehmlichkeiten alle Trip.com angeboten waren $5 in Münzen, was nicht akzeptabel ist. Das Hotel sagte, sie würden unsere Karte zurückzahlen, aber da wir Trip reserviert haben, konnten sie nichts tun.
Das Personal war höflich und professionell, ein Mitarbeiter hat uns sogar ein Telefon-Gebührenkabel geliehen, das bewertet wurde.
Das Zimmer selbst war sauber, das Bett war sehr komfortabel, und das war der beste Teil des Aufenthalts.
Frühstück: Ich empfehle das Frühstück nicht. Die Angebote waren sehr ähnlich wie andere Hotels, aber die Vorbereitung scheint die schwache Verbindung zu sein. Zum Beispiel schien die Sauce gerade geschwürt und war kalter als Zimmerzeit. Die Eier waren mit braunen Flecken in ihnen, vielleicht von der Schütte des Bodens.
TLDR: Unsere Bedürfnisse waren minimal und ohne unsere Schwierigkeiten mit den Schlüsselkarten und Frühstück wäre das ein gutes Wert gewesen. Es geht darum, dass ein Hotel keinen Zugang zu einem Zimmer in einem Notfallszenario hat.
