We frequently stay at this hotel when visiting Kampot, but this time, the experience was a bit disappointing. The building shakes whenever a container truck passes by, which can be quite unsettling. Additionally, the service felt average—there was no welcome drink as we had received in the past. While the hotel still offers decent accommodation, the overall experience wasn’t as enjoyable as before. Hopefully, improvements will be made in the future.

Just spent a night at Peam Snea Resort over the weekend with a friend, and honestly, it was exactly what we needed. The whole place feels like a hidden island escape — quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Perfect for recharging.
The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. You park on the mainland and take a short boat ride to the island, which added a fun little adventure to the experience. Our room was super clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed — A/C, good Wi-Fi, and a little balcony to sit and enjoy the view. We didn’t do a ton of activities (though they had kayaks and paddle boats), but it was perfect for just slowing down.
If you're looking for a peaceful weekend spot near Kampot to unwind with a friend or partner, I’d definitely recommend Peam Snea. Worth the trip!

Ich habe am Wochenende in Montagne Residence geblieben und hatte eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung. Das Personal war willkommen und hilfreich, das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, und die Einrichtungen wurden gut gepflegt. Ich genossen insbesondere die friedliche Atmosphäre, die es zu einem perfekten Ort zum Entspannen machte.
Highly recommend Montagne Residence for anyone looking for a quiet and refreshing getaway.

RiverTree Villa & Resort is a perfect blend of nature and comfort. The rooms are spacious, clean, and offer beautiful river views. The staff is welcoming and attentive, ensuring a memorable stay. Such an amazing stay. Rooms and resort are even better than the photos online. You truly get a “resort” feel here. Facilities are brand new and everything is extremely clean. Hotel is only 8 minutes to town and there are tuktuks ready to take you. Can not recommend this hotel enough for someone looking for a relaxing and upscale Kampot stay for a reasonable price. You will not regret staying here, it’s straight out of the movies. The free kayaks are a wonderful touch to the resort.

Tolles Hotel! Sauberes Zimmer, eine wirklich tolle Dusche, alle Mitarbeiter sind superfreundlich und hilfsbereit, großer und sauberer Swimmingpool. Es gibt sogar einen kostenlosen Tuk-Tuk-Fahrer, der Sie zu Orten in der Umgebung bringt. Nicht zu weit vom Zentrum entfernt, viele Restaurants und Cafés in der Nähe. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder in dieses Hotel zurückkehren!

Das Bett ist bequem.
Die Dusche ist einfach nur der Hammer. Alles funktioniert einwandfrei, die Sanitäranlagen sind in Ordnung, die Dusche lüftet kräftig. Das Personal ist super. Das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstück ist herzhaft, gut und reichhaltig.
Die Hotelanlage ist sehr fotogen, es ist schön, im Innenhof zu frühstücken.
Die Lage ist gut, alles ist fußläufig erreichbar.

The facilities are exceptional — from the stunning swimming pool and the spacious, flower-filled yard with fruit trees, to the well-equipped gym and charming restaurant that serves delicious foods whole day. The outdoor areas are thoughtfully arranged, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout the property.
What truly made our experience special was the hospitality of the staff. In particular, I’d like to mention one of staff Saly, who greeted us with warmth and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfectly arranged. He even connected us with a friendly and English-speaking Khmer tuk-tuk driver who took us on a fantastic private day tour to five major landmarks at a very reasonable price. They helped us to book tickets to Phnom Penh and to use their motorcycle to the downtown.
I’ve uploaded plenty of photos to capture the beauty of this resort — it truly leaves a lasting impression.

Der Pool ist einfach wunderschön! Warm und sehr sauber. Schwimmen am Abend unter den Sternen ist eine Freude!
Sehr gute Zimmer (alle Häuser sind zweigestellt). VIP Zimmer sind direkt am Pool gelegen, aber der Rest ist nicht schlimmer (Vielleicht sogar noch geeigneter für diejenigen, die mehr Privatsphäre wollen). Die Zimmer haben einen Kühlschrank, starke Klimaanlage und wirklich warmes Wasser in der Dusche. Das Hotel hat vor kurzem geöffnet, so dass alles neu ist. Personal sorgt jeden Tag für das Gebiet.
Das einzige ist, dass das Stadtzentrum etwa zehn Minuten mit dem Transport entfernt ist. Aber es ist möglich, ein Fahrrad zu mieten oder ein Taxi zu benutzen.Und Sie können sich in einem nicht besetzten, ruhigen Bereich entspannen.
Ich kann dieses Resort wirklich empfehlen!

GGastnutzerIch habe hier viele Male geblieben und es war nie enttäuschend. Das Personal hier war sehr auf Dingen, das Essen war großartig und der Ppol war wie es immer gut aufwacht. Nur negativ war, dass einige Bauarbeiten getätigt wurden, aber in Fairness muss es irgendwann getan werden.
Ich werde hier nochmal bleiben, da es wirklich kein anderes Hotel gibt, das dem Wert entsprechen kann. Bedenken Sie, es war 20 Prozent mehr, um auf Reisen zu buchen, als es auf ************ und sie nehmen Karten, wenn das Ihre Frage ist.

Overall, Bali Villa Kampot is a great place to truly unwind and do nothing for the whole day. The environment is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing and escaping from the city.
The only setback is the location. Google Maps and Grab do not link directly to the villa, and there are two listings named “Bali Villa Kampot” on the Grab app. If you select the wrong one, you may end up dropped off in a very remote area. It took me some time to figure this out.
That said, the staff service is excellent—so warm and helpful that it quickly makes you forget about the transportation inconvenience. Their hospitality really stands out and enhances the overall experience.
