I stayed one night at the Mercure hotel in Fátima. I was greatly impressed with hotel's excellent location, high quality services, and excellent cuisine. The staff is very friendly, efficient and professional, always eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Very nice décor overall and very comfortable rooms. An excellent experience. From now on this will be my hotel in Fátima. I strongly recommend it.

Das Hotel befindet sich im nehmenszentrum. Es ist großartig für jene, die mit dem Zug kommen, weil es nur wenige Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt ist. Das Personal ist aufmerksam. Das Frühstück ist lecker. Es hat eine gute Auswahl, aber es könnte zum Beispiel Apfelsaft dienen. Ich empfehle eine Haltestelle am Ende des Tages auf der Terrasse, um die Nacht zu sehen und die Sonne mit dem Schloss auf dem Szenario zu setzen. Es tut mir leid, dass Sie keine Spa oder Massageservice haben.

Stayed at this hotel as part of a tour. Would highly recommend it. We found the hotel well located with easy access to everything (although it’s a very small town). Everything is clean & modern and service was great. Breakfast area doesn’t start until 7:30am so if you need to leave early like we did may need to consider alternatives. Food was fine, but nothing special. WiFi was fast enough. Lots of people stay here as part of their religious pilgrimage so can only imagine how busy it gets at certain times.

**I am giving this hotel a 3 stars for the room alone. Every thing else was above average.** We stayed at this property from 03/20 – 03/23. I had reserved a suite. When I see a suite, I think of a very nice room with a good view. Not in this hotel. We were assigned room #101. This was a suite with a separate sitting room, but the view was of a wall. Not overlooking the sanctuary but a wall of the building next door. Not like the photos on the website. So, if you are looking for a room with a view, do not get room 101. Other than that, the stay was good. The room was clean, and the heating worked well. The price of the room was €93/night. All staff encountered were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had an excellent staff (especially Ines) and the provided breakfast was very good. Breakfast was €15/person with a very large selection of items. It is one of the hotels located along this street that is directly across the street from the Sanctuary. There is a small onsite parking area with about room for 6 cars. Overall, if I had to do it again, I would not get a room but a city view room. I am giving this hotel a 3 stars for the room alone. Every thing else was above average.

Excelente! Hotel extremamente bem localizado, instalações em excelente estado (novas). Café da manhã muito bom, restaurante (jantar) bom também. Tem uma piscina pra uso boa. Profissionais muito cordiais. Fica uma pequena reclamação para os travesseiros que a nosso ver são pequenos e de qualidade inferior. No restante, excelente, e com ótimo custo benefício.

Ich mag, sehr zugängliche und erfahrene Hotelbedienstete. Ich möchte ein Wochenende übernachten, ist die einzige Zeit, die ich habe, um das Hotel zu genießen und zu besuchen( kennen) Santarém . Das Frühstück ist das wesentliche, aber es könnte etwas verbessern. Vorsichtig, Carla C.

Das ist ein tolles Hotel. Gutes Personal, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist in der Nähe von allem, was Sie in Tomar sehen möchten. Sehr schöne geräumige Lobby. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Wir hatten eine große Junior Suite, die größer war als das, was wir brauchten, aber der Preis war sehr gerecht. Es gab eine große Konferenz im Hotel, als wir dort waren, aber nichts fühlte sich belastet. Einer der großen zusätzlichen Features war der Klavier, der jeden Abend im Lobby-/Bar-Raum gespielt wurde. Er war außerordentlich talentiert und spielte eine große Band von Musik. Selbst ein paar Rock 'n roll diejenigen von uns, die noch jung genug sind, um die 70er Jahre und später zu erinnern!

perched high up in abrantes this is one fine hotel. simple check-in in a attractive reception area,rooms are well decorated and clean and have a mini fridge,safety deposit box and tea/coffee facilities which was a pleasant surprise,rooms are quiet at night which is another plus. choice of food at breakfast is good as is the evening meal,throw in some lovely views of abrantes while you are eating and you'll enjoy it even more. a big thanks to all the staff and it's nice to use the laundry service that doesn't take advantage,your prices are very fair and i thank you for that.

Acabou por ser uma opção para descansar uma noite antes de seguir viagem. Pena que alguns dos funcionários achassem que tinham razão em relação aos clientes e que era culpa do cliente que o quarto não tivesse mantas ou edredom disponível no quarto e tivesse que ir pedir à receção. Em janeiro é normal que faça frio e que os quartos tenham condições e nomeadamente mantas /edredom disponível, não?

Ein guter, komfortabler Hotel, einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Flur entfernt, was es sehr bequem macht, den Service während des Tages und auch die Prozession in der Nacht zu besuchen. Die Zimmer waren komfortable und Service und Essen war auch gut.

This is a mixed review. We have returned from a week's stay. When we arrived at hotel all seemed OK until the 'group' got their rooms. The rooms were appalling. They do not reflect what is on the website, apparantly these rooms are for paying individuals but the groups get the 'classic' rooms. When I went to complain, many others were there too. The bathroom was totally inadequate and the shower was so old it soaked the entire bathroom. After a while the manager told me that there was one modern room left and I have to say this room was gorgeous! We thought it was perfect until we came home one day to find a leak at the aircon. Reception already knew about this when I reported it (although I was unaware continuing to use aircon). I had to be sharp to get a maintenance man to the room. When he did appear the water gushed out of the unit and ceiling. Thankfully he was able to stop the drip (towel stuffed up aircon-probbaly catching the drip). To, be fair we were offered a new room but I didn't want to leave. Rooms were spotlessly clean but this service was hit and miss - some days it was clean after breakfast and other days still not cleaned/fresh towels at 7pm. Waiting staff fantastic but most of the dinners were very poor. One evening the chicken curry can only be described as a dogs dinner. If you get chicken for lunch you will get the remainder bones and guts included for dinner 🤢 Groups are treated like 2nd class citizens in this hotel and I would reccomend anyone planning pilgrimages not to use it. The groups got different breakfasts while 'paying' guests got better food. The waiting staff would actually tell you ' you can't have that, that's for the other guests' All good is buffet style and it is replenished but very repetitive and I would say Only enjoyed 2meals the entire week. The free wine and tea/coffee is a nice touch. Elsa and carrina the 2 JWT tour guides were amazing.. Nothing was too much trouble and believe me we had alot of issues at times. They were the best tour guides I have ever had and I have been on 30+ pilgrimages. Steyler hotel need to stop false advertising their hotel.. Rooms with balconies are not even available yet advertised. Pool is not opened. This is not a 4 star hotel. One part of it may be but the other part looks like a hostel.

Die Lage war direkt neben der Kathedrale von Fatima, so dass es sehr einfach war, nach der Messe zurückzukehren, und das Personal öffnete die Tür jedes Mal, wenn sie eintraten. Der Parkplatz war direkt vor der Haustür, so dass es sehr bequem war, Gepäck zu tragen und die Einrichtungen waren sehr gut.

Rein, neu, im Zentrum der Stadt, die Lage ist sehr gut. Aber es hat vergessen, Toilettenpapier zu setzen, das Zimmer ist klein und die Soundtrack-Effekte sind nicht gut.

Foi a primeira vez que ficámos numa unidade da série Collection, mas, a avaliar pela amostra (leia-se: pela experiência), por certo que outras demandaremos. A característica que distingue estas unidades dos Vila Galé “normais” é o peso histórico-cultural de cada edifício e da sua envolvência, o que, em Tomar, dá pano para mangas! Tirando a dificuldade para estacionar perto (existe um estacionamento gratuito a 100 metros, mas sempre muito procurado), ao pousar a bagagem no lobby do hotel, um enorme painel alusivo ao claustro central do Convento de Cristo de imediato nos impele a iniciar uma jornada histórica até à idade média, passando pela época dos Templários, tema omnipresente nas inúmeras imagens que decoram salas, corredores e restaurante, neste último complementadas com extensa cronologia aguçando o apetite dos amantes de história. E já que nos encontramos no restaurante, o pequeno almoço é servido com disposição em forma de cruz, com os produtos em pequenas quantidades, repostas em permanência, e com uma descrição que, à primeira vista, até nos parece em quantidade e variedade bem mais comedida do que nas unidades VG correntes, o que, com observação mais cuidada, concluiremos ser, naturalmente, um equívoco… Os pães variados, os croissants, os queijos, os enchidos, as compotas caseiras, os sumos de fruta, os pratos quentes típicos do pequeno almoço continental, os bolos caseiros, as frutas frescas, enfim, tudo, afinal, lá encontramos, como estamos habituados. Aqui apenas um pequeno reparo para os ovos mexidos, que, para minha estranheza, denotaram no tabuleiro da rechaud uma confecção à base de ovo em pó (?), perdendo em cremosidade e em textura, e contrariando o que é a nossa expectativa no VG. Voltando à primeira forma, o edifício secular ligou duas estruturas contíguas, ligadas por uma passagem área sobre a rua onde se situa a entrada do hotel, e que separa a zona vermelha da zona azul, para melhor orientação dos hóspedes no interior. Quartos, camas e equipamentos com o nível de conforto habitual (só não me habituo é aos edredões que servem de lençol, pois morro de calor!...), salas e saletas de estar, sala de leitura, com clássicos à disposição, bar com piano, uma sala de jantar reservada e, até, uma capela, decoradas com bom gosto, de extremo conforto, a promover o lazer. A piscina exterior, longitudinal, tem o seu bordo infinito sobre o rio Nabão e com vista para o Castelo de Tomar, lá no alto, proporcionando magníficos “postais ilustrados” de fim de tarde e refrescando com tranquilidade os dias quentes de Tomar, em ambiente idílico. De todo o pessoal só temos a dizer bem, em simpatia e profissionalismo. Depois, é só partir à conquista da oferta histórico-patrimonial e gastronómica da cidade Templária, que de tão vasta se pode tornar cansativa, mas teremos sempre este belo pouso para onde regressar, recarregar baterias e voltar à carga, em todas as ocasiões.
