5-Sterne-Hotels in Kwazulu-Natal, Südafrika

Ich bin zum 3ten Mal in diesem hotel gewesen und war dieses Mal sehr enttäuscht. Abgesehen, dass ich mit der Upgrade Politik vom hotel sehr unzufrieden war /man upgradet Elite member in die Suiten nur bis 3 nöchte), ich blieb über 10 Nächte, da hätte ich erwatet, dass man mir die 3 Nächte wie den anderen gewähren würde und für den Rest des Aufenthaltes ein Angebot unterbreitet in welche Form auch immer, fand ich auch die renovierung , die vor kurzem gewesen ist, nicht sehr gut. Das hotel war früher im speziellen afrikanischen Still eingerichtet, schöne massive Holztüren wurden durch billiges Durchschnitt ersätzt. Als Hilton Diamond member habe ich Zutritt zu Executiv Lounge bekommen. Dieser ist auf die untere Etage umgesiedelt worden. Die Lounge hat ein schönes Dsign und geröumig, leider beim serviertem Essen wurde gespart, es ist kein Vergleich zu dem, wie ich es von meinen früheren Aufenthalten kenne. Eine Enttäuschung!

Die Beverly Hills ist und hat immer eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Die Mitarbeiter sind oben und darüber im Dienst. Zimmer übersehen das Meer und haben spektakuläre Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang. Alle Mahlzeiten sind außergewöhnlich, Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit seinem wunderbaren Buffet ist ein Vergnügen, den Tag zu beginnen.

A good place to be with a beautiful view.... ”The View” as its name . Closer to a shopping complex , gas station, 5min drive to the beach, closer to the beach there also restaurantswhere you can dine whole having the beach view, Toti Beach. its also closer to galleria Mall. The place is too steep so be ready for that... Their food is delicious, we had dinner there at their restaurant called Giorgios but its expensive I must say. Not sure about their breakfast and lunch though. Staff and reception is just ok. I had requested them to add a crib bed for a child and upon arrival they told us that the storeroom is closed because we arrived at 6pm so it's too late. We then asked them to give us atleast a bedsheets or any linen so we can make a plan for our son, they said ok but never pitched , nothin, not even getting back to us to say what could be the matter. We asked again the following day, they took four hours to bring a bedsheets. Bottom line is if you have a child do not, I repeat DO NOT book that place because they will lie straight to your face saying they could not reach you since you booked via an APP. I'm not sure whetherI want to talk about their kitchen in the rooms. You will have to call them now and again to bring things and they take 3 to 4hours just for a simple thing like a spoon. One thing I can say is they don't listen and listening means you respect your business and your clients I flew from overseas to rest and have a good time and have treat ourselves since they have a spar but I ended up canceling my plans for a spa because I didn't want additional dissapointments. The rest I don't even want to mention...and that is my experience after paying so much Money and looking forward to a good vacation 😌 BUT...

The hotel is beautiful and its location is very convenient because it’s walking distance to the beach, restaurants and entertainment. I mostly enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I kept going back for me. Great service.

Steps from a beautiful beachside path that winds past a lighthouse and gardens to a nature ark, The Oyster Box is beautifully situated in Umhlanga Rocks with amazing views from rooms and restaurants. The rooms are cozy with everything you need for a luxurious stay, including in our case celebratory welcome balloons, cake and other snacks. We had one with a deep shady deck - perfect for whiling away the day watching the water. The whole building is charming - and has a beautiful secret courtyard with a pool, a wall of orchids and many little nooks for quiet contemplation. There is a lovely library and a top floor bar. There is a second pool tucked below the restaurant on the beach side so both have views. Speaking of the restaurant - we enjoyed spectacular meals there - breakfasts were amazing - the buffet supplemented by a pancake station with every imaginable topping (my favourite were the Italian cherries); lunches and dinners featured fresh seafood, impeccably presented. Throughout our stay, all the personnel made us feel like we were staying with old friends. I want to single out the art in the hotel - there are beautiful tile mosaics throughout the buildings and grounds, but also an outstanding collection of contemporary South African art. Even if you don’t go up there for a drink, it is well worth exploring the top floor and indeed all the public gallery spaces.

This boutique hotel is remarkable but so is the unparalleled service and exceptional hospitality. When you have this winning combination, it lends itself to quality and care that the staff have for their customers. It all started when I unsuccessfully tried to book a weekend stay for my parents from Australia, and none of the other five star hotels bothered to respond to me. A friend of mine suggested I might look towards boutique or private stays, and so a quick google revealed this absolute gem. I left a Facebook message which was promptly responded to by Catherine who reached out immediately to the hotel to help arrange my parents stay on my behalf. She was my point of contact and I do not have words for how professional and warm she was. After being away from South Africa for nearly a decade, she represented the very best of South African culture and hospitality. Nothing was too hard for her to help me with, when I couldn't reach them she assisted, she thought about ideas and made suggestions to make my parents stay incredible. From there on the front desk was amazing, suggesting food and menu options (for my fussy parents), offering ideas about what could make their stay special and genuinely within a day, everything was organised and sorted. They even mocked up a voucher for me! When I called my parents on their last day, they simply didn't want to leave. They commented not only on the personalised experience and service, but genuinely expressed their sadness at having to leave. They wished their stay would have been endless. The facilities were par excellence, every single meal was delivered and plated to an exceptional quality, the spa treatment was relaxing and the property is aptly named as it does offer endless views. Every single evening the property made my parents time special - it was to celebrate my mums birthday and her retirement from teaching at a public school. They went out of their way with generosity, kindness and personalisation. My mum loved that they found time to sing her a happy birthday song! I have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone looking for world class service combined with an exceptional property. I am incredibly well travelled and from what I have experienced and from my parents utter joy, this property ranks up with the very best of properties. Well done to the entire team and when I visit South Africa, you can be guaranteed a visit from me.

Diese B&B Sport 12 gut groß für ehrlich große Zimmer, in Umhlanga Rocks, etwa 40 Meter vom Strand entfernt (Unser Bad, in #3, war humongisch, und schön). Die Gäste sind so nett und toleriert viele COVID-assoziierte Rebooking von uns und anderen. Grounds haben einen schönen Pool, und viele gemütliche Nooks zum Lesen. Nicht viele Spiele im Haus, so bringen Sie Ihre eigene Unterhaltung. Frühstücksmöglichkeiten sind großartig. Cowrie Cove ist über eine Meile von Umhlanga, und somit über eine Meile von jedem Essen oder Einkaufszentrum. Uber-Reisen sind nur rund 100 Rand rund tripmore wie 400 R für eine runde Reise nach Durban. Die Fläche wurde hart von Regen getroffen, und der Strand hat viel Müll auf sie. Der Strand ist auch ziemlich eng und steif, und es ist schwer, lange Entfernungen zu gehen auf es 337, aber das ist nicht dieses Problem der Institutionen.
