Beautiful spot with our unit deck looking out over the ocean. Friendly staff, easy check-in. Pizza/restaurant close by. Village a kilometre away. Great beach, safe swimming. Purchase the wifi they offer you. Cheap and necessary. Well appointed, warm, tidy and cute unit. Highly recommended. Hamish Frost

Horrible communication with the receptionist.... We had never made a deposit that was meant to confirm our booking. As something had popped up, so we didn't think we had to cancel anything because nothing was confirmed nor booked. But we still got charged a full stay for 2 nights x2 people. Absolutely guttered, not even keen to try this place in my home time. I will never reccomened to anyone near or far.

This is our fourth stay at Oakura Beach Holiday Park, and again it has not failed to impress. The staff through the booking and check in process were outstanding, providing advice for locating our caravan for privacy, views and facilities. Such a beautiful spot. Spacious holiday park where each cabin has room around and a view rather than being sardined in. Great vibe. Super welcoming staff. James and his lovely whānau went so far as to bring me cake, ice cream and a birthday card 🎂 I love everything about this place: the location, the rest from cell coverage, the super welcoming and helpful staff, the quality of the cabins, the way it is respected.

We had the pleasure of staying for 4 nights and it was awesome.The outlook from the cabins is worth the trip.VERY clean and fresh.We will go back.I tried fishing many times but they did not want to be caught.Lol.Just a 2 minute stroll from our cabin.Very close to a lot of great eating places as well.

Roomy, clean, great views to the ocean (saw some great sunsets from the deck!!). Arrived at the coldest day of the year - took a long time to warm up - possibly needed some supplementary heating. Short walk to the beach and Pizza restaurant 100m down the beach which offers great food as well as great views of the sunsets.
