3-Sterne-Hotels in Berlin

Das Zimmer war recht schön, die Lage ist relativ ruhig und auch mit den Öffis vom Hauptbahnhof in 30min zu erreichen. Enttäuschend war leider das Frühstücksbuffet. Ich habe vor Anreise mehrfach wegen Allergien Bescheid gesagt und mir wurde gesagt es gäbe eine gute Auswahl. Die tatsächliche Auswahl war dann extrem gering (nicht ausgeschildert, aber 2 von 3 Mitarbeitenden waren echt freundlich), mir blieb ein normales Brötchen mit Marmelade, Haferflocken und Tee über. Da ist der Preis definitiv nicht gerechtfertigt. Wenn man alles isst ist die Auswahl gut, so war es enttäuschend, weil anderes versprochen wurde und der Preis der gleiche war.

Ich beginne mit den Pluspunkten: ein hochwertiges Bett, gute Bettwäsche und Handtücher sowie ein wunderbares Frühstück. An der Rezeption, die auch eine Bar ist, gibt es Fassbier. Die Zimmer haben authentische, große Metallschlüssel (die natürlich in der Tasche stören, man braucht eine Tasche oder eine große Hosentasche). Der Preis ist moderat für Berlin. Geschäfte, Cafés, Busse und U-Bahnen sind nicht weit entfernt. Es gibt auch einen Gepäckraum. Ich möchte ein paar Minuspunkte anmerken: den späten Check-in (ab 15:00 Uhr) und den frühen Check-out (11:00 Uhr). Die üblichere Zeit ist 14:00 Uhr bzw. 12:00 Uhr.

The location for this hotel is ideal for exploring Berlin by foot or public transport. There are also quite a few attractions nearby or a short walk away and many good restaurants close as well. We had very few interactions with staff as we had no issues during our stay and when we did speak with them they were kind and helpful. First thing we needed was to sort out parking and that was easy because there was free street parking in the evening and on weekends so that was free during our stay. We had a quick check in too. We booked a double room for my wife and I and a single room for her mom. We both had a good amount of space and the rooms have furniture that utilize the space well including a desk, a safe, shelves with built in hangers and plenty of bars and hangers throughout the room to hang your things. There was a small TV, good lighting and some helpful lighting around the headboard. The tempurature control is good in the rooms with a thermostat on the wall that has a power button on top and controls on the front to control the air conditioning or heat. The beds were comfy and the rooms were very quiet at night so we got a good night's rest. The bathroom was small but designed well. The shower had good pressure, plenty of hot water and a good curtain to keep the water in. They provide a shampoo/shower gel combo so you may want to consider bringing your own bath products. If you book a suite you get a mini fridge and kettle but the regular rooms have neither. There are tea stations on even floors that have a nice filtered water dispenser that does hot, cold and room temperature water.

Premier Inn Berlin is a solid price-performance hotel in a very convenient location, just next to Alexanderplatz. The rooms are somewhat small, but clean, functional and comfortable enough for a short city stay. Public transportation access is also very easy from the hotel. The only downside was that some of the lobby staff seemed a bit weak in customer communication and not particularly welcoming.

Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und der Service aufmerksam. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es einen Verkaufsautomaten mit Snacks. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, schräg gegenüber befindet sich ein kleiner Supermarkt, was Einkäufe und Essen sehr bequem macht. Außerdem sind Sehenswürdigkeiten wie das Jüdische Museum und Checkpoint Charlie nicht weit entfernt. Vom Fenster aus konnte man den Fernsehturm sehen.

Gute Lage gleich am Bahnhof Gesundbrunnen. Einkaufszentrum gegenüber. Das Zimmer zur Straße war total leise, absolute Sauberkeit, neue und moderne Zimmerausstattung. Einzig das Personal war nur durchschnittlich. Wir sind in Berlin, aber etwas mehr Freundlichkeit am Empfang würde es perfekt machen. Preisleistung war hervorragend.

Der Self-Check-in war einfach, da uns ein Mitarbeiter direkt dabei geholfen hat. Die WLAN-Verbindung war gut und alles war sehr sauber, was mir sehr gefallen hat. Das Zimmer war geräumig und es gab sogar eine Kaffeemaschine, sodass ich einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt hatte. Ich würde bei meinem nächsten Berlin-Besuch gerne wieder hier übernachten!

I I had an unforgettable hotel experience. When I arrived, I tried to push the door open, but it was locked. There was no doorbell. Just as I was fretting over what to do, three groups of guests who had booked the same hotel tried to enter, but none of them could get in. Then one of the guests noticed a digital keypad and typed in the code from her email, but none of them could get in. Each of our groups tried their codes, but none of them could get in. As we were still fretting, the door suddenly opened, and a guest came out, allowing us all to enter. That guest explained that the hotel had emailed us a ten-digit start code and a four-digit comfort code. You had to enter the start code first, then the comfort code, to open the door. The other guests had both the start code and the comfort code, but my email only contained the comfort code. The kind guest checked my email and confirmed that it contained only the comfort code. He then called the hotel, and they said our reservation had been cancelled because we hadn't paid the city tax. However, I clearly saw on the check-in voucher that the €29.90 check-in fee was payable upon arrival. The staff member on the phone later said they would email us the payment and, after payment, gave us a new start code and comfort code. After payment, we finally got a room. However, upon checking in, I discovered it wasn't the Standard Studio with Balcony we'd booked, but a Standard Studio. I didn't want to call them again to complain about the mistake; I just wanted a comfortable room. The hotel's location is convenient, about a 5-minute walk from S train station, and the room was generally acceptable.

The room is very basic, just a cabinet and bed, not table or chairs in room, it quite far away from the city , need transfer 2 to 3 times train to all the surrounding scence.
