Die Unterkunft ist leicht zu finden, ganz in der Nähe der Bushaltestelle und umgeben von drei großen Supermärkten, was das Einkaufen sehr bequem macht. Das Zimmer ist recht geräumig, hell, sauber und komplett ausgestattet, mit großen, bodentiefen Fenstern. Es verfügt über eine Küche, eine Kaffeemaschine (allerdings sind nur 3 Kapseln vorhanden, weitere müssen Sie selbst kaufen) und war trotz der belebten Lage sehr ruhig, sodass Sie gut schlafen konnten – das Wichtigste überhaupt. Das Badezimmer ist mit einem Kosmetikspiegel, einem Bügelbrett im Kleiderschrank und einer Nachttischlampe ausgestattet; ein zusätzlicher Stuhl wäre wünschenswert.

Die Sauberkeit war ausgezeichnet. Die Lage war super, in der Nähe eines italienischen Restaurants und Supermarkts und nicht weit vom Bahnhof entfernt. Der Service war ebenfalls sehr gut und höflich. Die Einrichtungen waren alle vorhanden, einschließlich einer Küche, in der man kochen konnte, was wirklich praktisch war!

Das Zimmer war ok, aber die Rezeptionistin war ein bisschen rassistisch, ein Mädchen. Als ich das erste Mal ein Zimmer bekam, bekam ich ein Bett ohne Verdunkelungsvorhang. Auf meine Frage nach anderen Touristen, die bereits im Zimmer wohnten, sagte sie, dass die Rezeption auch versucht habe, ihr das Bett zu geben. Die Rezeption gab vor, es nicht zu wissen und gab es den Kunden, obwohl sie bereits wussten, dass das Bett keinen Verdunkelungsvorhang hatte. Ich ging wieder nach unten und sprach mit ihr, und sie wechselten sofort das Zimmer, aber ihr Gesicht stank sehr. Ein Asiate, der Deutsch sprechen konnte, war immer noch nicht so nützlich wie das Gesicht eines Weißen. Ich hatte einen fantastischen Aufenthalt! Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sodass ich mich rundum wohlgefühlt

I I had an unforgettable hotel experience. When I arrived, I tried to push the door open, but it was locked. There was no doorbell. Just as I was fretting over what to do, three groups of guests who had booked the same hotel tried to enter, but none of them could get in. Then one of the guests noticed a digital keypad and typed in the code from her email, but none of them could get in. Each of our groups tried their codes, but none of them could get in. As we were still fretting, the door suddenly opened, and a guest came out, allowing us all to enter. That guest explained that the hotel had emailed us a ten-digit start code and a four-digit comfort code. You had to enter the start code first, then the comfort code, to open the door. The other guests had both the start code and the comfort code, but my email only contained the comfort code. The kind guest checked my email and confirmed that it contained only the comfort code. He then called the hotel, and they said our reservation had been cancelled because we hadn't paid the city tax. However, I clearly saw on the check-in voucher that the €29.90 check-in fee was payable upon arrival. The staff member on the phone later said they would email us the payment and, after payment, gave us a new start code and comfort code. After payment, we finally got a room. However, upon checking in, I discovered it wasn't the Standard Studio with Balcony we'd booked, but a Standard Studio. I didn't want to call them again to complain about the mistake; I just wanted a comfortable room. The hotel's location is convenient, about a 5-minute walk from S train station, and the room was generally acceptable.

My first room came with a shower straight from a horror movie - just two settings: ”boiling hot” or ”STRAIGHT FROM HELL'S KITCHEN!” 🔥🔥🔥 Had to switch to Room 2 where I was greeted by a previous guest's cigarette butt (free souvenir?) and some tiny roommates having their own little party (pest infestation included at no extra charge!). #RoommateSurprise **Service: 🌟🌟** ”Complimentary late checkout” = being locked out for 30 minutes contemplating life choices in the hallway! 🚪 WhatsApp ”customer care” moves slower than my grandma's internet! Had to explain basic faucet operation like I was teaching rocket science, and when locked out, had to share ALL my personal info AGAIN. Privacy who?? #WaitingGameChampion

I stayed at Aparthotel Vega Berlin during my trip to Berlin. At first, the building was a bit confusing to find, as it looks like it might be closed from the outside. However, there is a clear sign indicating the hotel, so you are in the right place. It is about a 15-minute walk from the nearest train station, which is manageable but not the most convenient if you have heavy luggage. One thing to note is that access to the building requires a passcode, which was not provided in advance. I had to call the reception to get the code, which could be inconvenient, especially for late arrivals. The staircase inside the building is also quite narrow, so carrying large suitcases may be a bit challenging. That said, the room itself was comfortable and well-equipped for the price. It had everything needed for a short stay, making it a practical and budget-friendly option. Overall, despite a few inconveniences with access and the building layout, I had a decent stay. If I visit Berlin again, I would consider staying here again.
