Wegen der Corona-Krise bekamen wir keinen Flug mehr von Quito und mussten fast eine Woche in diesem Hotel bleiben, das wir eigentlich nicht verlassen durften. Wir hatten großes Glück mit dem Serviceteam, das in jeder Hinsicht kulant und hilfsbereit war. So konnten wir einen Spaziergang rund um das Gebäude machen und sogar zu Fuß bis zum Eingang des Flughafengebäudes gehen, das durch einen Fußweg mit dem Hotel verbunden ist. Für die wenigen Gäste, die noch im Hotel waren, wurden die Bedingungen so erträglich wie möglich gestaltet. Das war oft nicht leicht wegen des vorgeschriebenen Abstandes der Tische von 1,50 m im Restaurant. Die eingeschränkte Menükarte vom zweiten Tag ab war natürlich nicht dem Hotel, sondern den restriktiven Vorschriften der Regierung zuzuschreiben. Denn auch die Angestellten durften das Hotel nicht verlassen, sondern mussten in den Gästezimmern übernachten. Mit unserem Zimmer 415 in der 4. Etage waren wir sehr zufrieden, denn es hatte alles, was man für einen komfortablen Stopover benötigt: Ein breites und bequemes Bett, einen großen Schreibtisch mit vielen Steckdosen, guter Beleuchtung und sogar USB-Ladebuchsen. An der Wand war ein großer 49 Zoll Fernseher befestigt und die WLAN-Übetragung war gut, wenn sie auch manchmal schwankte. Im Download-Test erreichte ich 1027 kbit/s, im Upload 13880 kbit/s. Sehr komfortabel waren der Kleiderschrank und die vielen Schubladen, sodass wir keine Probleme hatten, unsere Sachen für mehrere Tage hier unterzubringen. Am besten waren in dem großen Bad die große Regendusche und die großen Ablageflächen. Insgesamt gesehen war das Hotel eines der besten, das wir auf unserer Ecuadorreise besucht haben. Für den Preis von 120 Dollar pro Nacht für das Zimmer inclusive eines hervorragenden Frühstücksbüffets bietet es ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

From the moment I reached out to them, I knew I was in good hands. Michell, the event planner, was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me understand the various options available. They took the time to understand my needs and the details of each event. Everything was carefully planned and executed flawlessly, from the décor to the catering. During the events, the service was exceptional. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that everything was running smoothly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Each event was a resounding success, with guests raving about the service and organization. I couldn't have asked for a better partner in event planning than the Sheraton Hotel in Quito. After a very long night of travel, it was a treat to check into the Dann Carlton so thank YOU to the front desk staff for making our first travel experience to Quito a memorable one. The courtesy of the staff really stood out to me. Everyone was friendly, helpful and pleasant. It was a refreshing place to stay on my return trip to the United States. From when the moment we got off the plane we were greeted at a holiday inn staff member and helped direct us to our shuttle. Getting off a plane in a foreign country is disorienting, and this was super helpful. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable nights stay, and coffee in the room was a nice way to wake up. I highly recommend this holiday inn.

Our small tour group styed at this hotel for 3 nights while exploring Quito. It's nowhere near the Old City but convenient to many things including a large grocery store within walking distance, a craft market and many banks. There was only one quirk with the room: it was set up so that the power was shut off unless you put your room card in the slot by the door. I'm a firm believe in not squandering resources by leaving a room with all the lights on and the A/C at an arctic setting but it also meant that anything plugged into charge did not charge when the room was vacant. Yes, I tried the travel hack of putting in a credit card instead. The maid pointedly took it out and tilted it a bit so that the power stayed off! Breakfast variety was amazing- I thought I'd dished up some yogurt and it was marshmallow cream (I should have realized it with cones nearby). Yogurt WAS available at another station. Overall a very good stay but I wish they'd find a way to keep the power to the outlets on when the room is vacant. Our tour guide recommended that we use the ATM in the Swissotel across the street- more private and people passing on the street won't see you. I HIGHLY recommend the jewelry shop in the Swissotel building (Ariu Studio, all pieces hand-made by a well-known indigenous jeweler whose very nice daughter runs the shop).

We were stranded in Quito for 3 nights after our flight was canceled and ended up at this hotel. It was great that many staff spoke English, all staff were very friendly and willing to assist. The gym facilities are great with lots of equipment. The outdoor heated pool was lovely and warm so I could do my laps then relax in the hot tub or sauna. It was walkable to Old town Quito, across the street from a lovely park, a block from a big local indigenous market, a block to the free national museum. Concierge arranged a wonderful taxi day trip to El crater, middle of the Earth and the monument on the hill with a great driver at a very reasonable price (I believe they have their own taxis - it looked like their name on cab). Concierge gave great instructions and recommendations for local activities within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and huge with wide range of varieties, including an omelet station. I ate 2-3 meals a day there and all the food was delicious and nicely displayed on the plates. I especially liked their variety of fresh juices. They were very organized when 30 of us came to check in last minute at 1 am, they already had the paperwork with keys ready so all they asked was our name and we were all in our room within 10 minutes- impressive! They helped make a stressful situation a wonderful experience- thank you!

Gefällt mir sehr gut, die Lage ist gut, die Umgebung ist gut, dieser Supermarkt in Quito ist noch für den Tourismus geeignet, die Umgebung ist gut, es gibt viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und der Transport ist bequem. Das Frühstück ist etwas einfacher. In der großen Suite fühlt sich das Wohnzimmer nutzlos und verschwendet an. Die große Badewanne ist sehr luxuriös. Die Art zu baden ist falsch und ich bin fast ohnmächtig geworden.

Wir blieben hier Anfang Januar, bevor wir eine Vogelfotografie besucht haben. Wir kamen hier ein paar Tage früh, um die Stadt zu genießen. Wir kamen um 2 Uhr an, und wir wurden von dem Büropersonal begrüßt und von einem sehr freundlichen Gentleman in unserem Zimmer gezeigt. Wir verpassten das mit Frühstück am ersten Tag, da wir nicht bis 12😜 aufgekommen sind. Es sind zwei Restaurants und ein wunderbares Kaffeegeschäft beigefügt. Holz-gefütterte Pizza war lecker, wie die Backwaren im Kaffeegeschäft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und freundlich

Wir verlassen heute nach anderen Teilen des Landes, aber wirklich genossen meine 4 Nächte hier. Meist lokale Geschäftsleute - ich habe keine Touristen im Hotel gesehen. Aber sehr komfortabel - Zimmer sind kleine, aber gutes WLAN, viele Outlets und vieles warmes Wasser. Gelegen ca 1/2 Stunden Taxifahrt von Ciudad Historico und Spazierweite bis Mariscal. Gutes Frühstück wurde jeden Morgen angeboten. Adrian am Frontdesk war genügend freundlich, um einen Fahrer für uns für ein paar Tage, um die Stadt zu verlassen. Sie haben auch einen kleinen Fitnessraum. Ich hoffe, die nächsten Orte, die wir in Banos, Cuenca und Guayaquil bleiben, sind so nett wie diese.

Dieses charmante Hotel sollte für uns nach zwei Wochen in den Galapagos eine Nacht bleiben - eine große Nacht, das Neujahrstag in Quito. Vielmehr entdeckten wir am Neujahrstag, dass unsere Tochter positive Tests für Covid hatte. Wir wissen nicht, was wir hätten getan, wenn es nicht für die Mitleid des Besitzers Miguel gewesen wäre, der uns in unserer Notzeit nicht verlassen wollte. Er hat sofort für unsere Tochter ein separates Zimmer mit Küchenzeile eingerichtet, während mein Mann und ich in einem separaten Zimmer verblieben. Wir waren alle, einschließlich des Personals, sehr vorsichtig hinsichtlich der Gesundheitsprotokolle, Entfernung und Maske. Die Mitarbeiter halfen uns bei der Organisation von lokalen Tests und anderen notwendigen Vorkehrungen vor Ort. Sie halfen uns mit Cabs, die Organisation für Abendessen, und unser Zimmerpreis umfasste ein ernährungsreiches Frühstück. Wir blieben noch 8 Tage, bis sie negative Tests erhielt und zusätzlich ein Dokument von einem Arzt erhalten hat. Bequeme Lage erlaubte für leicht zu Fuß gehende Reisen zum Quito Marktplatz, was großartig war. Die künstlerische Dekoration und Anlage füllte Patios und Decken machte diesen charmanten Aufenthalt. riesige Schreie nach Miguel, Carolina, Steven und dem Personal, weil sie so graziös und freundlich waren, uns während der Tochter Covid zu helfen!!

Das Zimmer war eine Mini-Suite mit moderner und gut ausgestatteter Küche, Bar, kleiner Tisch, einem Mini-Wohnungsbereich mit Desktop und Bucher. Das Zimmer war gut abgegrenzt, mit Nachttisch und einem großen Kleiderschrank. Das unglaublich komfortable Bett, vielleicht eines der besten, die ich jemals getestet habe. Es hatte viel natürliches Licht, das ich danke. Das Bad in perfekten Bedingungen und die Reinigung von 10. Das einzige, was ich gegen hätte, ist die Lage, da es nicht so zentral ist, aber gleichzeitig war es perfekt für mich, weil ich das Kulturhaus (für ein Konzert) nahe sein wollte. Sie ist auch in der Nähe von einem Megamaxi, mehreren Restaurants und einem sehr schönen alten Film. Sie haben uns auch bei der frühen Ankunft und dem späteren Abreise bei der Buchung unserer Gepäck geholfen. Ich würde mich sicher wieder hier aufhalten, aber ich bin froh, dass ich mich von anderen Orten entfernt bin, weil es sich um Preis, Aufmerksamkeit und Komfort lohnt.

Das war wirklich einer der wunderschönsten Orte, die ich je hatte. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und gut gepflegt, und das Personal war so freundlich. Sie machten uns drei erstaunliche Mahlzeiten pro Tag - plus zwei Snacks in der Zwischenzeit - und waren immer bereit, uns neue Mahlzeiten zu erklären und uns Früchte zu zeigen, von denen wir noch nie gehört haben. Die Boden sind super schön - es gibt ein kleines Fußballfeld und ein Sportplatz, das ein Volleyball-Netz und Basketball-Hopps, plus ein Rec-Zimmer mit Ping Pong und Pool-Tische, was so viel Spaß war. Ich hoffe sehr, wieder zurück zu gehen :)

The room we were given was spacious and clean. However, it was freezing cold, and there was no heating. We had to sit with the bed blankets around us to get warm. The restaurant is on the 5th floor - don't bother climbing up all those stairs - breakfast was a croissant and some scrambled egg and some over ripe fruit. I don't eat eggs or croissants so asked if I could have a slice of toast - no I couldn't - so I had no breakfast and didn't bother climbing the stairs on any other day for nothing. The owner and the ladies at reception were very helpful and obliging, but there was one man who was very rude. One evening I went downstairs for a cigarette at 9pm - he was very grumpy and told me that the door was locked at 10pm so virtually tough if I wanted to go out again after that time. Never before have I stayed in a hotel with a curfew - I am on holiday and if I want to be out after 10 then that is my prerogative- I am not paying for a hotel to be treated like a child and given a curfew. The hotel was also noisy - some kind of renovation going on maybe.

Wir haben unlängst mit unserer Vogeltourgruppe hier geblieben, aber 2 Tage früh, um mehr von Quito zu sehen. Unser erstes Zimmer war ein schönes, aber ziemlich Standard, Hotelzimmer mit einem großen Blick auf den Tal. Unser zweiter Aufenthalt, eine Woche später, als wir auf unserem Weg nach Osten durch Quito gingen, war (zu Glück für uns) in einer Suite mit Küche und Waschmaschine/Trockner. Das war wunderbar, da es als Gelegenheit gab, waschen zu machen, bevor wir weiterreisen. Das Hotel liegt etwa 3.5 Meilen vom Kolonialgebiet Quito (Old Quito). Ein wenig entfernt, wenn Sie planen, Fuß zu gehen, aber einfach genug mit einem Taxi. Das inbegriffen Frühstück ist gut, auch wenn es in der Vielfalt fehlt. Über Ihre einzige Wahl ist, wie Sie Ihre Eier vorbereitet haben. Wir essen zweimal in der Café mit unserer Gruppe, wenn es nur OK war, das zweite Mal sehr gut. Service kann ein wenig unorganisiert sein, aber freundlich genug.

Das Hotelteam hat Vertrauen und ernst in die Erbringung des Services übertragen. Ich unterstreiche die Ehrlichkeit und die persönliche Behandlung, die ich erhalten habe. Alles, was während der Buchung kombiniert wurde, wurde beobachtet. Das Frühstück wird ohne die Option ”freies Buffet” serviert, aber als ”Tafel gemacht” ist tief schmeckt. Ich habe um die Transfer (”transfer”) im Ausflug und um das Hotel gebeten. Der Service wurde von Herrn Alfredo (ein Taxifahrer) durchgeführt, der das Hotel dient. Das Hotel zahlt für jeden Transfer (zu oder zurück) 28 Dollar (Wert im Juli 2019). Bitte den Reisenden sagen: Die Zimmeraufnahme folgt dem Modell der Vereinigten Staaten. Es gibt keinen Aufzug, sofort müssen die Gäste mit den Taschen in die Hände steigen. Das kann auch ein Schlag für diejenigen sein, die Probleme mit der Mobilität haben. Zum Ankunft war das Bad nicht sauber, aber in den anderen Tagen wurde ein solches Problem korrigiert und das gesamte Zimmer war ungeschützt. Das Fehlen eines Kühlschranks im Zimmer ist auch etwas, das das Hotel verbessern muss. Es gibt kein Mittagessen oder Abendessen in der Unterkunft.

We stayed her with g adventures before and after our Galápagos trip. Very clean . Room was big and very comfy . Secure baggage store. We even left a bag while we were on our trip . Roof top pool and spa - amazing views but it does get incredibly hot . It’s open till late. Breakfasts start at 4.00 - we needed that as our trip left at 4.30!! Great Buffett selection !! Cold meat / cheese , hot options , fruit , fresh baked bread, cereals and yoghurt. They provide filtered water in the reception and on several of the floors - perfect to fill up water bottles. It’s not very safe walking round - we walked to the hop on hop off bus and we’re told by the police not to walk around. So we ate in the restaurant in the evening . Good food - soMe very tasty local dishes but avoid the pizza !! On our last night our tour went to an amazing Columbia’s restaurant- which was close by. My only gripe is that when we arrived at the hotel 10.30 am we were told that our room was ready but it would cost $50 to check in early . Or we could come back at 2 ish . We went on the tourist bus and had a great afternoon sightseeing.

Die Hotelausstattung ist neu, das Zimmer hat eine gute Aussicht und die schneebedeckten Berge können von den großen flachen Fenstern aus gesehen werden. Das Hotel verfügt auch über einen Swimmingpool und einen Whirlpool. Das Servicepersonal ist aufmerksam. Der kostenlose Shuttle zum und vom Flughafen wird ebenfalls angeboten. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr herzhaft und ich bin mit meinem Aufenthalt zufrieden.

High quality hotel with grand look to interior. Nice facilities; the indoor pool was decent size and warm. Cute little outside pool is joined to it for nice weather. Good size gym. Bar area is smart and comfortable. Enjoyable bar menu. Mega pizza. Restaurant nearby. Breakfast room smart and well laid out. Excellent selection of continental options alongside cooked food made to order at the kitchen. Lots to fill you up on a day out. Room was nice and big. Do miss a carpet in a room like this but it is well styled and has all you need. Bed massive with good solid mattress. Took me a while to workout the black out blind control as there are no traditional curtains. Clean big bathroom with two basins and good size walk in shower. Easy to use safe and quality coffee making facilities. Good location for a few restaurants and spotted a bar too. Supermarket up the road. Some rooms have nice views of the surrounding hills. Finally pleasant staff who are always there to help. Bar staff were great.

Ich blieb hier, als ich durch Quito ging. Meine Zeit hier war großartig, ich blieb in einem Königsbett. Das Personal hier ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und bestellt Zimmerservice ein paar Mal und das Essen war großartig. Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe der Foch-Platz, und viele Geschäfte und Essen in der Nähe von Fußgänger. Insgesamt war ich sehr glücklich mit dem Wert, kostenloses Frühstück, Zimmer und alles. Ich werde hier wieder bei meiner nächsten Zeit in Quito bleiben.

Great hostel in Quito. The terrace area provides amazing views of the city. It also provides a great space to meet other travellers. There’s a wide range of breakfast options and the group dinner every evening at 7pm is very popular. The 2 activities of the walking tour and the Mitad del Mundo were both affordable and informative trips. The staff in the travel agency were also extremely helpful.

Ich war auf einer einsamen Reise nach Ecuador und die Galapagos. Mein Führer empfahl Hotel Casa Gardenia und ich bin so froh, dass er es tat. Es war ein wunderbarer Ort zu bleiben, gut gelegen im Historischen Zentrum von Quito. Ich fühlte mich sehr sicher, das Gebiet zu wandern, vor allem mit der Karte, die mir die Vorderseite Leute gab, die zeigten, wo es ratsam zu gehen oder nicht zu gehen. Der Service war unverschämt. Ich habe Celiak-Krankheit und sie gab mir Optionen für das Frühstück, das ich geschätzt habe. Mein Zimmer war auf der Straße des Gebäudes und es gab etwas Straßenlärm. Aber ich habe meine Soundmaschine aufgelegt und es war absolut gut. Ich war gern am Ende des Tages einkommen und ein Glas Wein im Wohnbereich haben, auf die Aussicht schauen. Ein kleiner Bonus, direkt über die Straße war ein Waschmaschine. Ich konnte all meine Reinigung vor dem Abreisen nach Hause getan haben.

We spent two days in Quito following our Galapagos cruise and booked this very expensive hotel as a splurge to end our vacation. On the plus side, it is very beautifully decorated, our room was quite large and there were lots of fluffy towels and nice toiletries. We received a bottle of wine and some chocolate when we checked in, and the people at the front desk were very nice. But the negatives certainly overshadowed the positives, considering how much we paid for the room. The air conditioner was barely adequate, although we turned it down as low as possible, so we spent two uncomfortable nights. One of the main reasons for booking the hotel was to eat in their lovely restaurant, We even thought we made a reservation for our first night. However. when we checked in , we discovered that the restaurant had been closed for months and the only available restaurant was little better than a coffee shop, although they did serve dinners. The breakfast that was included in the room rate was very limited, with most of the other offerings an additional cost. Even at more modest hotels, we have enjoyed very nice buffets with many choices, but not at this hotel. And finally, our trip ended on a very negative note. The hotel is on a pedestrian street so we, with all of our luggage, walked to the corner with the bellman to meet our car. He didn't have a cart so we carried everything. While we were standing there someone took one of our bags, unfortunately the one with the presents we were bringing home to our family. The hotel never bothered to get in touch with me afterwards, although I guess technically it was not entirely their fault, even though they walk guests to the corner on a regular basis. But an expression of regret would have been appropriate and much appreciated. I really intended to give the hotel a “poor” rating, but decided in the end for “average” but only because the people at the front desk were so pleasant. But we would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Obwohl es in einer besetzten Straße und Gegend liegt, gibt es Sicherheit und wirklich nahe zu Malls, Restaurants, Banken, Supermarkt und auch ein nettes Barber Shop neben den Räumlichkeiten. Frühstück zu sterben. wird definitiv empfehlen.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Posada del Maple wirklich genossen. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel und unsere Dusche war perfekt heiß. Es hatte sogar eine private Terrasse, umgeben von Blumen des rotblütigen Ahorns, nach dem die Herberge benannt ist. Wir haben eines Morgens gefrühstückt und es war köstlich. Wir konnten auch unsere Taschen aufbewahren, während wir Quito erkundeten. Die Lage war großartig. Ruhige Straße mit Restaurants in der Nähe an der Plaza Foch. Eine Bank und eine Apotheke in der Nähe waren praktisch. Unser Gastgeber war sehr, sehr nett. Mein Mann wurde an dem Tag krank, an dem wir einen Nachtbus nach Lago Agrio nehmen sollten. Sie machte es ihm auf der Couch bequem und machte ihm Tee (das war alles, nachdem wir ausgecheckt hatten). Als wir entschieden, dass wir nicht reisen konnten, richtete sie uns für eine weitere Nacht ein und checkte sogar morgens bei ihm ein. Alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft, die ich nicht weiter empfehlen kann.

Meine Oase in dieser Stadt, mit perfekter Lage im historischen Zentrum, eine Dachterrasse mit erstaunlichen Blicken und ein willkommenes, hilfsbereites Personal. Das Hostel hat ein koloniales Gefühl und ist sehr sauber. Blumen überall! Ein großes Frühstück mit einem smoothie, Omelette, Käse und Kaffee. Ruhig und ruhig, sehr sicher.

Schönes Hotel 4 KM vom Flughafen. Wunderbar und nett Management. Dachtoppen haben große Aussichten am Sonnenuntergang. Nur Beschwerde war Badlicht war automatisch auf, und sehr hell, um 3:00 Uhr, war eine Überraschung. Das kleine Kaffee auf der Straße und rechts hat gesunde Lebensmittel. Beide sind schön gepreist.

The courtesy of the staff really stood out to me. Everyone was friendly, helpful and pleasant. It was a refreshing place to stay on my return trip to the United States. From when the moment we got off the plane we were greeted at a holiday inn staff member and helped direct us to our shuttle. Getting off a plane in a foreign country is disorienting, and this was super helpful. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable nights stay, and coffee in the room was a nice way to wake up. I highly recommend this holiday inn.
