Mercure Sapporo is conveniently located between Susukino (Namboku line) and Hosuisusukino (Toho line). The room booked (deluxe double) was spacious (over 40 square meters) and the breakfast selection was decent. My children loved the food! Jump onto the Tozai line at Odori and you can visit Shiroi Koibito park after a short walk. Jump onto the JR line at Sapporo and you can reach to further places like Otaru or Noboribetsu. The service staff are friendly and helpful. Certainly recommended if you’re coming with young kids.

Da es sich um ein frisch renoviertes Hotel handelte, fühlte sich alles neu und sauber an. Ich denke, es war besser, weil es in Sapporo nicht viele neue Hotels gibt. Das kleine Zimmer war mit 39 Quadratmetern geräumig. Der Raum war geräumig und die Toilette/das Badezimmer war geräumig und daher einfach zu benutzen. Es befand sich im 6. Stock eines 6-stöckigen Gebäudes und die Aussicht war die der Sapporo-Fabrik. Der größte Vorteil war, dass das Frühstück sehr lecker war, die Fenster im Zimmer offen und gut belüftet waren und die freundliche Atmosphäre insgesamt angenehm war, da es sich um ein globales Kettenhotel handelte. Der Standort befindet sich jedoch direkt neben der Sapporo-Fabrik, sodass Sie ein wenig laufen müssen, um zum Bahnhof Sapporo oder Susukino zu gelangen. Zum Bahnhof Sapporo sind es etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß und nach Susukino 25 Minuten. Und es gibt keinen Supermarkt in der Nähe des Hotels. Sie müssen zum Supermarkt in der Sapporo-Fabrik gehen. (7-Eleven, im ersten Stock gelegen.) Natürlich ist es nicht weit.

Airport connects bus to hotel, staff is generally okay, although not all are helpful. When we checked out, we requested two taxis, but when they arrived, the drivers had difficulty communicating with us to confirm that the taxis were booked for us. Unfortunately, there were no hotel staff available to assist us, which made us feel quite upset. Additionally, the hotel facilities are outdated; the lighting is dim, and we found some dust and dirt on the towels and bedding.

Hotel was about 10min walk from Sapporo Station - look for signage to Emion Hotel - you can walk on street level or underground walkway which is covered all the way. The building next to Emion is brand new (forgot the name) - this building has a direct lift that leads to the underground walkway. Exit 15 will lead you to a few Izakaya places and it's fully covered the walkway. Breakfast was good with local fare such as japanese curry with rice, soba, miso, fried chicken (was good!), various juices, fruits and desserts - breakfast ends at 930am. The onsen on 2nd floor is open to public but hotel guests can go in for free - opens till late 1am almost everyday. Hotel will issue the onsen card to all hotel guests separately. 7Eleven right downstairs for convenience. We had a three bedder, was a bit squeezy - see photo. bathroom had a tub which was a good surprise. toilet is separated fr bathroom. No gym though which is why i gave 4 stars for facilities.

Strategic location, only 100m walk to Tanukikoji and nearest Subway station Susukino. Family Mart convenience store below the hotel for emergency food and drinks supplies. The room itself was spacious and relatively bigger than other hotels in Sapporo, equipped with microwave, washing + dryer machine. It was also clean. If required, you could also request for extra bowls / cutleries from the front desk, which we did. The microwave was a lifesaver as we spent our new year eve and new year day there and most restaurants were closed. Only downside is the hotel doesn't have a hot spring. The staff also understandably didn't allow us to store our big bags overnight as we were staying at Furano for a night before coming back to Sapporo again.

PPetal SWe enjoyed our stay at The b Sapporo for 7 days in late August to early September 2024. The standard twin room is nice. Air cond and the dehumidifier were running well. Shower was excellent. Bath towels, toothbrushes and slippers are delivered to the room daily. Toilettes are supplied free at the lobby as well as coffees/teas/ice creams. There is also a coin operated washing machine, it was so handy. The front desk staff, particularly Nagai and other young girls and boys, and room attendants are very nice and helpful except the Front Desk Manager, a Japanese man, who was rude. He never greeted guests in the morning or evening (either English/Japanese). No smile at all. Even though I said ”Hello, good morning, how are you?” in English and Japanese to him, he had no response and just looked at me, he was so arrogant and impolite! Afterwards, I did not greet him again for the rest of my stay. He definitely needs to go for proper customer service training to improve his attitude as working at the front desk!!!

JJuillardThis hotel is a must especially if you’re going during the Sapporo Yuki Matsuri (Snow Festival). Susukino and Odori site are only few blocks away and the Tsudome site is only a subway ride away. It’s super close to the subway station and it’s also close to Nakajima Park where you can play in the snow. The Susukino site is a very lively place with plenty of shops and restaurants.

AAsiaFamTravels2 small double beds were fine for 2 adults and 2 kids. Great breakfast buffet including wine and ice cream, salmon roe, cod roe and rice porridge for kids! Late checkout incurs a fee of 2000 yen an hour. Right outside exit 9 of JR with complete step-free access from the JR trains. No facilities but at least the lifts are fast. Close to daimaru where there is a Pokémon Heaps of mainland chinese tourists but I would definitely stay again.

Bblr32READ ME IF U WANT A FULL DETAILED REVIEW: Location: It was good. If you want to save up on transportation cost, the hotel is legit walking distance to many (like the JR sapporo station that has a mall, the clock tower, etc. Theres also a few convenient stores really close by. Lobby: I came here when it was snowing so prepare for slippery and dirty floors! Theres also only 2 elevators and a lot of tourists come in groups so you might need to line up to use it. Amenities: Theres only 2 laundry machines so try not to need to use it because they dont have a system for people using it, making it hard to identify whose clothes belong to when its done so the staff just lets it be there, making it hard for others to use it. The amenities in the room was standard. I do enjoy the remote control bidet and they have a kid’s washing option which was rare. Some reviews complained about the cleaning seemed to not read the instructions. Please use the ‘please clean’ or ‘do not disturb’ cards when you stay there and put the cards outside your room before 10 am. This information will be given during check in and they’ll will wait for you to finish reading it. Room: The room can only fit 1 large luggage and at most 2 mid size luggage. It was pretty small if you have a big body frame. The room wasn’t that clean. There was dried up chilli oil stain on the table that can easily be wiped off. This lowkey made me wonder how they cleaned the room and there i went on a bit of a cleaning spree on most frequently used places before utilising it. The pillow was too soft that lowkey feels like nothing and the lighting at the vanity was bad for applying make up. The air condition was bad in my opinion. They shouldve just not put it on heater mode because it was too warm to feel sleep at night. We had to turn off the heater and open the window to sleep. Bonus: - they gave us a few coupons for nearby seafood restaurants - the room has a purifier + humidifier which is good for the cold weather Overall: A great hotel to stay in if you’re looking for a budgeted stay! Great location and comfortable accommodation.

Japanese Charm: I particularly enjoyed the lovely Japanese-style room. The traditional tatami mats, futon bedding, and overall ambiance instantly transported me to another world, enhancing the authentic Japanese experience. Overall: My return to the Jozankei View Hotel was just as fantastic as my first visit. From the delightful buffet meals and incredible water park to the relaxing hot springs and charming Japanese-style rooms, every aspect contributed to a memorable and rejuvenating stay. OOnanongThis is an excellent place to stay in Hokkaido. The location is quite convenient to get to, and there’s an affordable car park available at the entrance of the alley. The surrounding area has restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby. The accommodation is not far from Susukino district, and it’s about a 15-20 minute walk. The check-in process might be a bit complicated, but the host provides clear and helpful instructions. The interior is more spacious than I expected. Upon entering, there are two wardrobes where you can hang coats or winter clothes, with plenty of hangers provided. There are 2 bathrooms, 2 shower rooms, and 2 sinks. Bathroom amenities include towels, head towels, soap, shampoo, and extras like hair ties, cotton buds, and shower caps. A washing machine is also available, complete with detergent, bleach, and drying racks. Clothes can be dried using the heat from the heater, which is very convenient. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric stove, microwave, kettle, plates, bowls, cutlery, and even a sink. In the living room, there’s a dining table with chairs, a sofa set with a coffee table, and a TV. Beyond that is the sleeping area, which has one large bed and two bunk beds. Each bed has its own power outlet for charging devices, which is fantastic. There’s also a small table by the window, perfect for use as a makeup station. This is a place I would love to stay at again. It holds wonderful memories for me, and I can still picture how everything looks. Thank you for providing such a lovely and reasonably priced accommodation. I absolutely love this place!
