AAhmad MostafaAfter spending six days in MGallery Hotel Sapporo, I can safely say this is not an ordinary hotel. Reception at 5 pm was professional, efficient and friendly. I didn’t have to wait. Well done. Takako and Cindy provided a warm, informative and professional service.
The concierge was helpful and welcoming. Very useful in a freezing outdoor climate - thank you Alex.
My room was as requested, 524. I booked a king room and it met my expectations. The design is lovely. The bathroom is not huge, but is well appointed with a bath and a separate shower. The room is very quiet and I had a very pleasant sleeping experience.
The hotel and my room are in excellent condition, with a high standard of decor and presentation. Clearly recently renovated. The design is first class. It combines a beautiful Japanese style, with classical and traditional designs. The result is very pleasant - Chic!
WiFi worked well. The room airconditioning was a little too hot for me, so I turned it off, and that was fine for me. The two guest’s lifts are fast and worked well over the six floors.
House keeping is also of a high standard as you would expect from a high end Accor hotel. This is especially so in Japan where service is an art form.
I had access to the executive lounge. It was a good experience. It provides a comfortable and cosy atmosphere, and the food quality is nice. The chefs are friendly and caring, thank you James. The lounge staff are first class. Thank you very much to Yokiku, Kaumini and chief Minoru for your attentive and excellent service. I appreciated your kind service.
The only negative I am sorry to say is the occasional noisy foreigners who don’t appreciate the quiet, polite, refined and subtle Japanese culture.
The location is convenient, and is about 15 minutes easy walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc, but rather the city landscape. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to a variety of wonderful shopping areas.
Additionally, there are major shopping malls in the Shinkansen station area. Nearby, you can find many restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food.
Taxies are available at the hotel entrance. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples, museums and regional attractions. Ms Takako provided excellent suggestions.
To be fair, I read the Hotel’s web reviews. I noticed that the negative comments were from years ago, before the hotel became an Accor hotel two years ago. I noticed most of the more recent reviews are positive.
A special thank you to all the other warm staff for their excellent and polite hospitality. Having experienced hotels in every continent, this one stands out. The service and attention to detail is in a class of its own. Clearly, this is a special Hotel - undoubtedly, due to the hotel’s leadership.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, Mr Ted Kitahara, and his management team. Mr Ted introduced himself to me by chance. He made me feel very welcome, and was most kind to enlighten me about the hotel’s design and its interesting history. I hope to meet the Japanese architect one day!
Overall, an extremely pleasant and first-class experience. I look forward to visiting again.

AAmelie LamDies ist ein neues Hotel, etwa sechs Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Sapporo entfernt. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es einen 7-Eleven-Supermarkt, was sehr praktisch ist. Die Rezeption und das Personal sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer ist etwas klein und hat nur ein 66 cm großes Fenster, das sich öffnen lässt. Insgesamt ist es aber sehr sauber. Das Bett ist angenehm weich und bequem, und es ist sehr ruhig. Ich habe mich für die Executive-Etage entschieden. Die Executive-Lounge ist sehr ruhig und bietet eine große Auswahl an Weinen und Getränken. Zu den Snacks gehören Seeigel, was etwas überraschend ist, aber das Frühstück in der Lounge ist zu klein. Wir bevorzugen das Frühstücksbuffet im zweiten Stock, da es dort mehr Auswahl gibt. Die Thermalquellen des Hotels sind auch in Ordnung. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft ein gutes Erlebnis.

GGastnutzerA very comfortable stay. I was in a Single Rm on d 13th flr. Super quiet at the end of the hallway. Window facing another building wall, no view. Comfortable bed and PJ set. No daily housekeeping provided but they'd leave a bag of towel, new PJ set and stuffs hanging on your door in the morning. Early check-in would cost 1000¥ per hour till the official 3【pm check-in time. I opt to leave my luggage in their storage rm, after I checked in around 4:30p, my bags already in my rm. Professional and polite staffs in general. I took the airport bus, but on my day of arrival, bus companies not dropping off passengers infront of the hotel due to severe snowstorm 2 days prior. And they also not picking up infront of d hotel on the wkend and final day of d Sapporo Winter Festival. Nearest airport bus stop would be Odori Park or Grand Sapporo Hotel. It's about less than 10mins walk. If it's during winter with snow on d ground, the Grand Sapporo Hotel bus stop would actually be a better route. I took the Odori Park route and was a bit tedious. Hotel is attentive to amenities details eg: charging cables of different ports ( type-C, Apple, usb-A etc...) available in the rm; utensils available at each floor's elevator lobby, free tea/coffee and extra toiletries at Lobby. Coin laundry(cash only) is 300¥ for each load of washing ( laundry detergent will automatically add in) and 100¥ for 30mins dry. Coin exchange avail at Check-in desk. Great location to Odori Park just across the street and plenty of choices for food + shopping. Rm facing the park during Winter Festival might be noisy due to stage performances and safety announcements or whatnot from the megaphone. Loves the onsen; Female and male has each of their own sections. Closed for cleaning 10a-2p daily, but daily operation is 2p-2a. Delicious mini fruit popsicles/ ice cream available to onsen users. No mini-fridge nor microwave in the rm. Breakfast buffet cost 2300¥/pax with mostly cold dishes, hot food only a handful of choices - wished could be more though; but they do serve wine (red+ white). Will stay again.

GGastnutzerWir hatten einen angenehmen Nachtaufenthalt am Anfang der Reise, so dass wir beschlossen haben, eine weitere Nacht zum Ende unserer Reise zu buchen statt im Flughafenhotel zu bleiben. Unser erstes Überprüfen wurde von einem guten und freundlichen Mann bearbeitet, der Kindern ohne uns zu bitten bereitete und uns 2pm Check-out (gold status) trotz der Buchung nicht über Marriott direkt reserviert. Unsere letzte Nacht wurde von einer Frau gesteuert, sofort fühlten wir, dass es einen Unterschied zwischen den beiden gibt. Sie bieten uns Verbindungszimmer für beide Zimmer, als wir unsere Zimmer in naher Nähe, die gewährt wurde, beantragt. Keine Kinderausstattung, keine späte Auscheckung, es sei denn, wir zahlen für die Verlängerung. Gastfreundschaft ist ein Schlag und eine Miss, ich habe eine andere Nacht im Juni kommen, alles auf meiner ersten Eindrucksbasis gemacht, ich werde darüber nachdenken müssen. Der Park liegt direkt hinter dem Hotel für 2500 Yen. Ich habe den Onsen nicht selbst geprüft, aber meine Eltern sagten, es sei relativ klein. Die Verbindung von zwei Zimmern hat wegen der Tür zwischen den beiden kleineren Fußbodenraum, was es schwierig macht, mehrere große Taschen zu öffnen.

2. Die Tanukikojo Streets sind mit vielen Essenshäusern und der berühmten Einkaufsstraße umgeben, nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel entfernt.
3. Hotellobby und Hotelrestaurant befinden sich im Hauptgebäude, und unser Zimmer war im 2. Gebäude.
4. Es gab Münzwaschmaschine+Dryer in einigen der Böden, so dass es sehr bequem für die Gäste zu verwenden ist.
5. Das Frühstück war so.
6. Ich habe in Holiday Inn Hotel viele Male (1st mal in Japan) verblieben und das ist das erste Mal, dass ich Dove Marke für Dusche und Haarschampo sehe.
Das Hotel erfüllte meine Erwartungen insgesamt.

MMsBeh94We had a good overall stay at Hotel Mystays Sapporo Station. The room was clean and reasonably spacious for two adults, making it comfortable for our stay.
Basic toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided in the room. Additional items like toner, lotion and cleanser can be taken from the hotel lobby. A hair dryer is also available in the room. (I don’t recall seeing a fridge, so do check if that is important to you.) The hotel also provides shared facilities such as microwaves, vending machines, and washing and dryer machines located on different floors, which is convenient for longer stays.
Our stay included breakfast, served on Level 14. The buffet offers a decent variety of both Western and Japanese dishes. Do note that breakfast ends at 9am, so it’s best to go early.
The location is very convenient. The hotel is near the North Exit of Sapporo Station. The closest exit is Exit 9, but it involves three flights of stairs. If you are travelling with large suitcases, it is easier to walk about 200 metres to the main North Exit, which has better access. The walk is generally easy, though it can be slightly challenging in winter when snow covers the sidewalks.
Sapporo Station is connected to several malls and underground shopping areas, making it very convenient for dining and shopping close to the hotel.
The hotel offers luggage storage before check-in and after check-out (we used it for same-day storage), which was very helpful. They also work with a third-party luggage delivery service that can send your suitcases to another location (eg, your next hotel) for a fee. Delivery usually requires at least one day, so you will need to plan your itinerary accordingly. This is a useful option if you prefer not to carry large suitcases while travelling between cities.
The hotel provides two types of pillows (one soft and one firm). If you are particular about pillow firmness, you may find them either too soft or too hard, so do take note.
Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient choice for staying near Sapporo Station.

KKathy WPNThe location of this hotel is just next to the Shin Sapporo JR and Subway station, about 3-4 minutes walk from the station. It is considered a very good and convenient place for us. You can almost different shops in the station building including supermarkets. The hotel room is spacious, comfortable and clean, providing all necessary amenities and services. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to share a small concern regarding my experience at the front desk on March 1, in the hope that it may be helpful for your future service considerations.
After checking out from another hotel, we planned a 2‑day, 1‑night trip to Otaru and wished to store our luggage at your hotel beforehand. When we arrived, we were assisted by your staff member, Ms. Hayshi(林）.When we asked whether it was possible to store our luggage, we were informed that storage was limited to one day only.
We then explained that we would be returning quite late the following evening and asked if there might be any flexibility or alternative arrangements. However, the response we received felt a little abrupt, including a surprised “Huh?” that left us unsure how to continue the conversation. This made us feel slightly uncomfortable and misunderstood, though we believe it may simply have been a moment of miscommunication.
In addition, from the day we inquired about luggage storage until March 4, we noticed that there were still two pieces of luggage stored in the luggage area for several days. We would appreciate some clarification on why those items were allowed to remain for an extended period, as this left us a bit confused about the policy.
At the same time, I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the warmth and professionalism shown by your Assistant Front Office Manager “Faucett mark “during my check‑in. He welcomed me with genuine kindness, clearly explained the procedures and facilities, and made me feel very well taken care of after a long journey. His patience and attentiveness created a truly positive impression, and I hope the hotel will acknowledge his excellent service.
We have always appreciated the thoughtful hospitality that Japanese hotels are known for, which is why we chose to stay with you. With this in mind, we wanted to gently share both our concern and our gratitude, and we would appreciate a brief reply so we can feel more at ease for the rest of our stay.

GGastnutzergood urban hotel in the middle of susukino. I booked twin room accidentally for 1 person . thinking twin room should be able to have 2 people. But apparently you need to specify 2pax when booking. The problem was solved by paying for extra person at check in but I found this a bit confusing / complicated. The person when I called was not very helpful and made the simple problem a bigger one as he didn’t offer solution . In contrast the reception team was nice and welcoming . So be careful to book with correct head count on booking .

GGastnutzerDurchschnittlich, nichts besonders Gutes oder Schlechtes, nur Durchschnitt. Was ich persönlich an dem Raum bedaure, ist, dass er von der Tür bis zum Innenraum mit dunklen Teppichen bedeckt ist. Sie können sich vorstellen, wie viele Menschen nur Schuhe tragen und im Raum herumlaufen. Ich traue mich nicht, mit bloßen Füßen auf den Boden zu treten. Was noch enttäuschender ist, ist die Hygiene. Ich habe einen magnetischen Aufkleber an der Tür angebracht, der zum Reinigen auffordert, bevor ich rausgehe, aber ich bin nicht einmal hineingegangen und habe den Müll nicht weggeworfen, sondern nur eine Tüte Handtücher aufgehängt Tür. Was bringt also die Reinigung...? Es ist schön, eine Mikrowelle und einen Verkaufsautomaten zu haben, aber es ist nicht die Art von Hotel, in der ich das nächste Mal übernachten möchte
