We stayed in nine hotels during our six week Winter visit to Japan; this hotel was the third most stylish but the second most uncomfortable. The corner double room has the right look with a little tea room next to a floor to ceiling window. We had a partial view of the Botanical Gardens which was pretty. The room was uncomfortable for the following reasons: 1. No storage. The room fit out is super minimal but if you have luggage there's nowhere to put it and no hanging space. 2. The designer was going for a zen low lighting experience but the room was so dark we couldn't see anything. There is one dim lamp next to the bed and another low light overhead light. It was so dark we had to borrow desk lamps to be able to see into our suitcases. Maybe the designer was trying to create a moody atmosphere but we found it dreary and depressing. 3. The thermostat has no fine controls - the room was either way too hot or very cold. We chose to turn the heat off and borrow extra blankets and wear extra layers. We chose the corner double room which despite being one of the larger rooms, felt too cramped for a four day stay. The onsen was stylish and cool. The outdoor onsen was set in cute snowscape. Having an onsen with snow around you felt very luxe. Unfortunately this hotel attracts a certain young, nouveau riche clientele who take selfies endlessly in this Instagram ready hotel. There were men taking photos of themselves in the onsen on two occasions; I felt like my privacy had been violated as I was in the same bath. It upset me they didn't respect me enough to abstain from taking video footage. Did they do that just because my partner and I were clearly not Japanese? We enjoyed the authentic breakfast, although I feel like having it once probably would have been enough. The location of the hotel was a bit of a dead zone, unless you love walking there are probably more central locations. If you can't speak Japanese the staff are just OK. I was overcharged and managed to get a refund even despite the language barrier. I would not stay at this hotel again but I did enjoy certain aspects of my stay.

What a find! I could stay here for a month. It's like a home. We had 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms plus terrace. One bathroom en-suite and the other bathroom separated in common hallway. The kitchen has fridge, freezer, water kettle, toaster and oven. Plus other items that can be rented from front including cooking oil, salt/pepper, shoyu caddy. There is only staff in latter half of the day but we really only needed the staff at check-in and to get rental items. Didn't notice any street noise, nice open views of city and mountains. Living area is big, roomy and comfy with plenty of sitting areas. Walking distance to everything, shopping, dining, lots of parking lots. Good place for long stay. Access panel so no key needed.

除了位置離市區有點遠，其他都很好，真的，一廳一房又有前台服務的我真找不到其他的了，能提前把行李寄送進來。走去地鐵站很近，路口就有便利店還有超市。冬天要走去JR就比較痛苦了，尤其是融雪時候，不過可以在便利店門口坐公車，一個站就到達琴似JR，打車也不用跳表。前台可借用兒童物品還有晾衣架，房裡有暖氣還有加濕器，電視有一點小但還好，還有高科技的大衣消毒櫃(沒用上)，小儲物間也很好用，玄關和廁所有點小

Okujozankei Onsen Kasho Gyoen is a haven of winter enchantment. The private onsen in our room unveiled a mesmerizing snowscape, creating a serene retreat. A special flower arrangement for my proposal added a touch of magic. The breathtaking views of the lake and snow-laden trees completed the idyllic setting. Okujozankei Onsen Kasho Gyoen is a gem where luxury meets nature, crafting an unforgettable escape. We eagerly anticipate our return to this winter wonderland.

４泊５日でKyoto-JAPANESE Modern-Aに滞在しました。総合的にとても良いホテル（マンションタイプ）でした。以下に感想を。 ≪残念だった点≫ ・チェックイン時にフロントに誰もスタッフが居らず、20分以上待たされた。 ・「部屋に備え付けてある」とフロントで説明された物が実際には無かった。 ・連泊のため清掃に入る日を打ち合わせたが、その日に清掃がされていなかった。 ≪良かった点≫ ・駅からもそれほど遠くなく、大通公園の西端からほど近い距離という感じ。コンビニも近くに２軒あり。 ・キッチン、冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、および一通りの食器が備えられており、コロナ下で外食を控えめにしたかった家族旅行にはたいへんありがたかった。 ・風呂がとても大きく、バス・トイレ別で、さらにトイレ・洗面台はそれぞれ２つあったので４人の家族旅行にはとても便利だった。ベッドもロフトを含めて驚くほど多数…。 ・タオルやナイトウェアがしっかりしたつくりで、使い心地も良かった。 ・テレビが大きい！複数の動画配信サイトにも接続可能で、時間さえあればゆっくり映画なども楽しめると思った。

Diese kompakte Studio-Apartment befindet sich in einer ruhigen Wohnviertel-Nachbarschaft und ist nahe an lokalen Geschäften, wenige Restaurants und ist zu Fuß entfernt zum Bahnhof (aber Sie können mit allem anderen kämpfen als Handgepäck. Die Einheit selbst war unstumpflich sauber und gut ausgestattet (auch hatte eine Waschmaschine) aber sie fühlte sich aufgrund ihrer kompakten Natur krampft, aber es ist perfekt geeignet für ein paar Nächte Aufenthalt. Betten waren Futon-Stil so fast auf der Erde und hatte sehr wenig Platz. um sie herum. Das sagte sie waren vernünftig bequem, aber auf der harten Seite. Kein Personal auf der Website so Selbstbedienung Check / Check out, was überkompliziert ist. Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer(s) gut, aber fand sie hilflos hinsichtlich der frühen Check-in (wobei es nicht einmal ein paar Minuten gibt, obwohl eine Einheit verfügbar ist) und keine Vorschrift, Gepäck zu verlassen, wenn Sie früher ankommen oder nach dem Auschecken aus der Stadt verlassen - wurde blödlich gesagt, die Lockers an der Station zu verwenden! Es schien, dass es ein Café/Bistro in Das Grundstück so wäre es hilfreich gewesen, einige Informationen darüber in der Einheit. Würde auch Anweisungen hielten, wie die Waschmaschine, Fernseher, Mikrowelle usw. in Englisch übersetzt. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt genossen und würden hier nochmal bleiben, aber in einer der größeren Einheiten, da wir das Studio etwas krampft für unsere Liebe gefunden.

Es war eine gute Lage und sauber.
