Went 30 December 2022 to spent the last couple of days of the year in what it supposed to be a cosy mountainous hotel set up. It was just that. A cosy refurbished old hotel in the middle of a forest, a short walking distance from Platres village. There is a huge history concerning the role the hotel played as the place for the rich and famous in the early 20th century until the end of the 80's. Royals, movie stars and wealthy individuals stayed at the hotel, photos of which are everywhere. The room was clean, the temperature was perfect and everything worked just fine. The a la cart menu offers few choices, but the food quality was above average to our satisfaction. Not expensive as well. The wine list was short and was focused to local wineries from which there was a handful of worth to try (if you are familiar with the local varieties or if you can get help from the head waiter). Excellent service at the restaurant, smiling faces everywhere and helpful staff in every corner. Taking under consideration the fact that is a facility deep in the forest, old and with a well established mountainous character, it is unfair to judge the simplicity of the design or the lack of 5 modern star building materials. You get what you pay and that is not a high end 21st century super luxury hotel. There is of course room for improvement starting from the unacceptable condition of the private road when you enter the gates heading upwards for the Hotel (about 4 hundred meters). It's totally destroyed and no maintenance have been taken place for decades. There is no lighting to help you avoid the holes so if you are not cautious your car might end up with some kind of damage. If this piece of road is part of the land that belongs to the hotel , then this is totally unacceptable. Generally though a good experience.

I have stayed at this hotel several times a year since 2015. I always find the room clean. Sometimes there is a singer or musician in the evening who performs. The staff is pleasant and polite. The breakfast is copious, especially the ”English breakfast” which can also be taken on the terrace. Since the COVID, the dinner was not proposed any more in the form of a buffet, but with the chart, but I hope that we will return there, because the choice and the quality are at the Rendez-vous. Zum ersten Mal in Zypern wollte ich nie wieder kommen. Es ist trostlos, macht keinen Spaß, das Meer ist in Ordnung, die Geschäftsstraße ist arm. Sprechen Sie über das Hotel, da es in der Nähe des Kunden liegt. Buchen Sie dieses Hotel, obwohl es nicht am Strand liegt. Die Entfernung ist aber auch sehr gering und liegt etwa 2 Kilometer vom Touristengebiet am Meer entfernt. Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, aber es sollte bald nach der Renovierung sein, das Zimmer riecht ein wenig, ich bin empfindlich gegen den Geruch, also öffnete ich das Fenster zum Schlafen. Kein Essen rund um das Hotel, nur ein Supermarkt. Eisdiele. Das Hotel ist schön und sauber. Das Netzwerk ist durchschnittlich und das Signal auf dem Bett ist sehr schlecht, selbst Ctrip kann es nicht öffnen. Das Frühstück ist gut, alles kann Ernährungsbedürfnisse befriedigen. Wenn Sie zum Flughafen fahren, können Sie das Hotel bitten, den Travel Express für 13 Euro anzurufen. Abholung vom Hotel und Abfahrt zum Flughafen. Ansonsten nehmen Sie ein Taxi für 10 Euro zum Bahnhof und der Bus kostet 9 Euro, was sehr frustrierend ist. Versuchen Sie, in hohen Etagen zu leben und eine gute Aussicht zu haben.

Ein großes und sehr stilvolles neues Hotel !!! Die Rezeptionist Personal war sehr freundlich und absolut professionell, behandelt ihre Kunden immer mit einem Lächeln und Respekt. Gästebeziehungsmanager (Jamie) wird immer sein Bestes tun, um Ihnen zu helfen !!! Was die Lage groß, kein Auto überhaupt benötigt, nahe an allen großen Orten zu Fuß zu besuchen !!! Gut gemacht für alle NYX limassol Mitarbeiter.

Dieser Ort hat eine lange Geschichte und existierte bereits in der 1950s. Da man nicht erwarten sollte, ein komplett renoviertes neues Hotel noch ein schöner kleiner Ort, nach Stundenreisen zu ruhen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und einige haben einen Balkon mit Blick auf den schönen Tal und das Olympus. Das Personal spricht Englisch und war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel ist sauber und das Alles, was Sie zum Frühstück für 6,50€ pro Person essen können, ist am besten auf der Terrasse draußen zu genießen. Die Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlage, aber ein kleiner Fan, so wird es im Sommer heiß. Wäre ganz dort wieder!

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at the Hylatio and we cannot wait to return. I have just read the reviews about the students staying there - these have absolutely baffled me, as there were students staying for about a week of our stay and they were delightful! Respectful and certainly not noisy or like 'plagues of locusts'!! For info, our room overlooked the bar & pool and we were not kept awake late or woken early. The hotel is lovely and the staff are fantastic. Our room was cleaned almost daily and the bedding/towels changed at least 3 times during our 10 days. We had a one bedroom, 2-storey apartment and it was clean & well equipped. We were on B&B and the breakfast selection was just brilliant. The pool area is lovely, the gardens are beautifully kept and the bar/reception areas are great too. Pissouri Bay is a beautiful place, as is the village a little higher up. Thanks to all the team at Hylatio for a fabulous stay :-)

Das Personal ist sehr hilfreich und freundlich, das Frühstück war sehr schön und sehr frisch, alle in aller großen Wert für das Geld , die Zimmer sind groß und hell mit einem schönen Blick auf den Pool und das Meer

Für den Preis, den wir gezahlt haben, fühlten wir im Allgemeinen eine sehr gute Erfahrung mit dem Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Zimmer war wunderschön und der Balkon war groß genug für 2 Sonnenunterkünfte und ein 4-Sitz-Essentisch, der die Sonne von ca. 11am (Sept Uhr) erreichte. Mein einziger negativer Punkt wäre die Sauberkeit des Pools. Überall über unseren Treppen war schwarz Form, die manchmal umschwimmen würde und die Grube war schlecht nötig, so dass ich mich gefühlte, das zu verbergen, als ich in den Pool ging, der ein bisschen aus dem Spott ist. Der Pool wurde einmal gereinigt, als wir da waren (12 Tage), was es etwas besser machte, aber nicht lange. Andernfalls war das Zimmer selbst sehr sauber. Der andere Fall war bei den Schwimmbad Suiten die Bar war geschlossen! ? So keine Musik/Trinken, die wir nicht erzählten, wenn wir buchen.
