This is an amazing hotel with beautiful, clean rooms and amazing views (Executive Ocean Suite). I would love to have rated the hotel much higher, but there were some simple things they could have done which would make a HUGE difference.
The Wifi signal was always very weak and basically no coverage on the balcony. My toilet got blocked 3 times in 6 days. After 4 days, we had to change rooms because I was woken up when my entire room was vibrating and there was massive amounts of noise. They were renovating on the floor above us. It was nice to be moved to a new room but it was inconvenient. The fridges are not the least bit cold. Housekeeping were wonderful but they entered my room one day while I was asleep and the DO NOT DISTURB light was on. Another day, they threw out some of my stuff which was NOT in the bin and it was not garbage. Reception was on Level 2 and it was closed after 10pm. Reception on Ground Floor could only do a limited amount to help us after 10pm. The pool has amazing views but it is only 1.2m deep - it was like a children's pool. And the tiles around the pool and in the corridor leading to the pool were always wet and slippery. Even the elevators were often very slippery and dangerous. They really need some non-slip mats to ensure the safety of their guests. Beautiful hotel but they need to make a few improvements and I would give them 10 out of 10.
