We are just home from a 3 night stay in the Napoli Palace and Spa. The hotel is stunning, well located, outwith the busy city centre but less than a 5 minute walk from the nearest Metro station and close by the football stadium. The staff were all welcoming and attentive and were always happy to help with any requests we had. The room was a generous size and the free upgrade for booking directly on the hotel website was a very welcome touch. The bathroom was stunning and spacious with a rainfall shower. There was a balcony and the window was equipped with an electric shade which was a nice touch. We could not figure out how to work the air conditioning and as a couple from Scotland this meant it was stifling in the room (Yes even in February) We booked the Wellness package which included a ”half board” dining plan and SPA access - the reason this review is only 3 stars. Half Board at this hotel is NOT half board, it is bed and breakfast with dinner 1 night of your stay - this is not made clear on the website, booking confirmation or on arrival at the hotel. The restaurant was always quiet (one or two tables in dining during our stay) so I cannot fathom a reason why they cannot include a proper half board option. The dishes served a la carte in the restaurant were pretentious and overpriced, it would be much busier if they served a simple Napoli style pizza/pasta menu at reasonable prices (The pizza restaurant next door was always busy and served delicious food). It is sad to read the reviews of a hotel with restaurant all comment on the food a neighbouring establishment. Breakfast was nice but a limited selection. SPA access - the spa is small but lovely and convenient, however, the SPA access included with your upgraded package is 1 x 60 minute session per person throughout your entire stay, not unlimited as you might expect. Additional time in the SPA can be purchased at 35 Euros Per person for 60 minutes use. They also offer beauty treatments which I can't comment on as I didn't partake. Overall we had a lovely experience here, the one thing that would have improved it tremendously was better clarity regarding the half-board and spa entry.

Booked via Hotwire. Supposedly a 4* hotel in a convenient location in Naploi. We came for just one night and had anticipated that we’d be able to park our car and take a stroll into town to get some dinner. In reality we locked our bedroom door and didn’t leave until we checked out. This hotel is NOT located in a convenient area to explore Naploi at night or by foot. By the state of the surrounding buildings (and the exterior of the hotel itself) it’s clearly a rough and rundown area. We had no desire to explore further than our room. The room itself was a joke. At least it made us laugh. We selected the upgrade that has a hot tub but didn’t expect to be staying in what is the closest thing to a ‘nocturnal pleasure den’ I have ever been in, complete with misaligned mirror over the bed and disco lights (I’d not be surprised if I found out you can pay for this room by the hour). The hot tub itself is in the actual bedroom; enough said. We didn’t use it. The room was clean, but that’s about as good as it got. The shower looks impressive until you try to actually use it. If you want hot water there is no pressure so forget the spar jets, the thing just dribbles. The mini bar contained a bottle of water and a Fanta. There was a kettle but no coffee and no milk. The high speed WiFi doesn’t work, which may seem like a rather trivial thing to mention but the tiny TV only shows programming in Italian and because we were going no where we couldn’t even watch NetFlix on our own devices. This is NOT a 4* hotel. To claim it is, is a property miss-discription boadering on deception. At best we’d give this 2*. We didn’t stay for the included breakfast, we left and will never be back.

In diesem Hotel passt alles. Ein Grandhotel in Italien, wie man es sich vorstellt. Wunderbare Aussicht, schönes Gebäude -solche Marmorböden findet man sonst nur im Vatikan-, qualitätvolle Stilmöbel des Empire, hervorragendes Essen und -der Höhepunkt!- ein überaus freundliches, herzliches Personal, das sich bemüht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Man merkt, wenn jemand seine Arbeit mit Liebe und Hingabe macht! Ein Traum auch die Dachterrasse mit Bar und Restaurants, sowohl was Essen betrifft, als auch Aussicht und hochwertiges modernes Design. In der Innenstadt hätte unser Zimmer einen besseren Schallschutz vertragen. Da derzeit aber ohnehin -nicht störende- Renovierungsarbeiten im Gang sind, wird das sicher auch noch verbessert. Die Zimmer nach hinten sind ruhiger, haben aber nicht den traumhaften Blick über die Bucht.

Wir waren mit einer musikalischen Gruppenreise in Neapel - alles war perfekt organisiert , darunter auch dieses Hotel! Unser Zimmer im 6.Stock hatte eine traumhafte Aussicht - selbst bei Regen herrlich! Bestes Frühstück - guter Service beim light lunch auf der Terrasse - sehr kulant die Abrechnung der Mini-Bar, danke! Mini-Wermutstropfen: kein Service bei An-und Abreise...Köfferle muss man selbst tragen...naja: er hatte ja Rollen...Wir kommen wieder...

We enjoyed our 8 day/7night stay. The language barrier was the most difficult part, but once the communication barrier was crossed, the staff was very helpful in every way. We spoke with Martina and Antonio most of the time. They go out of their way to help. There is breakfast available and free with some packages. I was not a fan of the breakfast. The bacon was not crisp. More like English bacon. There was a nice bar. The hotel is old and “majestic” with its marble floors and walls. The rooms are big with a seating area. The bathroom was big enough, although the shower was small and old. Rust was evident and the door didn’t work so well, but the water was hot and the stream was strong. The most important part of any shower. Everything was clean. We had a beautiful view from the 9th floor. The elevators are small, but not as small as some European elevators that we have been in. Everything is elegant. Don’t expect many amenities, but there were nice toiletries and a very large fitness center (more like a ballroom). You can get water there, to refill your water bottle. There is not coffee or tea in your room, but there is a small fridge at your disposable. There is also a hair dryer. It wasn’t mentioned on the web, so I brought one. Be careful when using your own hair tools, you’ll need a power converter, not just an adapter. The hotel is central to everything! Close to a metro line and the funicular. It’s between two ferry ports, both walkable. Short walk to the Chaia. Lots of shopping. Reminded me of the Champs Ellysee or Rodeo drive. We are walkers and most everything is within a mile. NOTE: if you have allergies, there is perfume everywhere. The hotel reeks of perfume. I developed an allergy reaction and was sick a few days. I told them not to spray my room and I did not linger in the common area. We loved the convenience and safe area. Everything we wanted to see was easily accessible. Tours are plentiful.

The staff: amazing. They were some of the most friendly and outgoing people!! They alone made it an amazing stay, so shoutout to them 🩷 The hostel itself was also great! Quite fancy, clean, massive storage drawers under the beds, good sized rooms. The breakfast was yum, so was the free drink on arrival. Omg and they had free stuff in the kitchen for u to make food with. Think olive oil, pasta, tomatoes, zucchini, herbs and spices. LOVE!!! The rooftop was severely underrated, very cool!! Overall an amazing stay, I wish I could come back!!!

Es ist eine italienische Gastfamilie gegenüber dem Bahnhof mit 5 Zimmern. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch und der Preis ist relativ hoch, aber die Schwarzen unten sind weniger sicher. Wir lebten neben Schwarzen. Ich persönlich bin kein Rassist, aber es macht mir immer noch etwas aus. Der Vermieter ist sehr enthusiastisch, vielleicht zu enthusiastisch, öffnet Ihre Tür und kommt herein, um zu putzen, obwohl wir ihm ausdrücklich gesagt haben, dass er dies nicht tun soll. Es ist mir egal, meine Schwiegertochter hat mehr Angst. Kurz gesagt, es gibt Vor- und Nachteile. Männern wird empfohlen, alleine zu leben. Paar, vergiss es, du musst auf das Sicherheitsgefühl deines Geliebten achten.

Ausgezeichnete Zimmer, das beste Bett, in dem ich je geschlafen habe! Auf der anderen Straßenseite vom Fährterminal nach Capri / Sorrent usw., in der Nähe der wichtigsten Einkaufs- und Tourismusviertel. Holen Sie sich Restauranttipps vom erfahrenen Portier!

Die Lage und Parkplatz sind Stärken, ebenso wie die Ruhe der Gegend. Morgens aufwachen, Fenster öffnen und das Meer sehen ist ein hervorragender Mehrwert. Wir kamen am späten Nachmittag und es war bereits ein offenes (geschätztes) Schlafsofa im Haus und das Haus schien sauber. Sehr bequem Bett. Wir waren überrascht, dass wir keine grundlegenden Ausstattung wie ein Taschentuch und Papiertaschen gefunden haben (diesen haben wir bei der Rezeption gefragt und haben uns das in den Gebrauchs- und Abwrack-Poseen gegeben). Die Struktur mit einigen externen und internen Wartung würde viel verdienen. Der Preis ist ehrlich für das Angebot, wir sollten nach Pozzuoli zurückkehren wir berücksichtigen.

Neapel ist die einzige Stadt mit Hochhäusern auf meiner Reise nach Italien. Diese Renaissance-Lage ist nicht schlecht, die U-Bahn ist ganz in der Nähe, es liegt auch in der Nähe von Newcastle, dem Rathaus und dem Hafen. Es gibt mehrere Stufen am Eingang des Hotels, es gibt keinen barrierefreien Zugang und schwere Kisten sind schmerzhafter. Wenn Mitarbeiter vorhanden sind, helfen sie natürlich, aber nicht immer ... Die Frühstücksumgebung des Hotels ist gut, mit Blick auf den Vesuv und das Mittelmeer. Die Auswahl ist nicht besonders groß, aber es reicht. Es gibt eine automatische Muffinherstellung, die sehr lustig aussieht. Die Einrichtungen dieses Hotels sind etwas alt und das Badezimmer weist Risse auf, die nicht mit denen eines Mercure in Palermo vergleichbar sind. Und das Hotel bietet natürlich kein Mineralwasser an, es gibt einen Supermarkt diagonal gegenüber und das Einkaufen ist sehr bequem.
