I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Mt. Pocono in April, 2023 for three (3) nights. I was there on business. Our family stays almost exclusively in the Choice Hotels brand for both personal and business trips and have seen many highs and lows with the brand throughout our travels. The Comfort Inn in Mt. Pocono is a comfortable, clean property. My room was a king suite and appeared to “formerly” be a hot tub suite, however, there is a sign in the room which indicated that the hot tub is no longer functional (which was fine with me because I did not book a hot tub suite anyways). The room was average, but clean. All lights worked, the refrigerator, microwave, and television all worked without issue. The internet connected with no issues, and I used it extensively to complete a few business-related tasks. In the bathroom, the toilet was fine but the shower needed some routine maintenance. The shower head desperately needs replaced; however hot water was not an issue. The “transition” flooring piece between the bathroom flooring and the main room carpet was missing and therefore, there were a few visible caulking “blobs” visible where the “transition” piece should be installed. I utilized the exercise room which was fine. The equipment is basic but is in working condition. The exercise room had a television. I did not use the pool, but it did appear a bit cloudy and the hot tub, as others have mentioned, is not functional. The breakfast was fantastic and the breakfast seating area was very nice, clean, and updated. Breakfast included an assortment of hot and cold foods. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The business center did not have a functioning printer, but they did offer the document I needed printed to be emailed to them and they could print it for me. I am sure they do not get many requests for use of their business center, but it was nice they could accommodate me. I would stay here again. It’s not a Hilton… doesn’t claim to be, but for the area and the price, you can have a nice, relaxing stay in a clean room with a good breakfast. Yes, there are updates that can (and should) be done to the rooms. As others have noted, one of the stairwells does smell of smoke but the other stairwell at the other end of the hotel is fine. The smoke in the one stairwell is due to employees smoking outside and propping the door open. I imagine by the smell, this happens routinely. I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay when you are in the Mt. Pocono area. Again, understand what you are getting (and not getting) and do not have unreasonable or unrealistic expectations for the property. They certainly can (and should) keep updating and improving the guest experience. However, I enjoyed my stay, slept well, had a great breakfast each day, enjoyed the exercise room, and the friendly staff made the stay enjoyable. For the area, the price was fair. I would encourage this Comfort Inn to keep improving the rooms as

Das Zimmer war großartig. Hatte einen schönen Blick auf den See. Die einzige Beschwerde mit dem Zimmer war kein Mini-Kühlschrank, aber wir waren für das mit einem kleinen Kühlschrank vorbereitet. Das ****** war sehr rauchig, auch der nicht rauchende Abschnitt. Es wäre besser, wenn sie PA-Leitlinien folgen und nicht rauchen. Es gab keine Käufer, um Gepäck zu behandeln, wenn wir überprüft haben, was ein Problem war. Wir sind ältere Menschen und Hubby nutzt einen Walker und kann Gepäck nicht wie er einmal behandeln. Glücklicherweise war auch ein junges Paar an der Eincheckung und hielte mir mit dem Gepäck. Restaurants waren großartig, aber ein bisschen preiswert.

Wir haben in diesem Hampton für eine Hochzeit in der Gegend gelebt und haben viele Fragen, die das Eigentum sehr schwer zu empfehlen, aber lassen Sie uns zuerst die positiven zu bedecken. Das Hotel selbst ist in ziemlich guter Form, mit angemessen Größenzimmern und frischem Dekor. Keine Überraschungen hier - in einem Sinne, wenn Sie einen Hampton gesehen haben, Sie sie alle gesehen haben, obwohl das nicht unbedingt schlecht. Front Desk Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit, obwohl das Hotel vollständig reserviert und sehr besetzt das ganze Wochenende. Auf die Negative. Unser Zimmer war sehr schmutzig bei der Ankunft, mit Haar links auf den Teppichen und einige beunruhigende braune Streichungen im Badezimmer. Aus welchem Grund auch immer, die Klimaanlage blähte unglaublich nass und nass Luft in den Raum, und selbst nach dem Ausschalten der Einheit, war meine Freundin mit Hüften und Hautreizung für Tage später verlassen. Einige Mitarbeiter haben einen exklusiven Schreispiel eingeleitet, da das Frühstück einen Tag geschlossen wurde, was nicht ein gutes Suchen nach einem Eigentum, das Familien anstrebt. Ich habe das alles auf die Aufmerksamkeit des Managements gebracht, als wir zurückgeblieben waren, und ich hoffe aufrichtig, dass alles gelöst wurde. Wenn dieses Hotel nicht Teil des vorbuchten Hochzeitsblocks war, hätten wir frühzeitig geprüft und woanders verblieben. Das war eine ziemlich unbehagliche Erfahrung für alle in unserem Zimmer, aber die Bewertungen für diese Immobilie scheinen insgesamt positiv, so dass Ihre Kilometer variieren können; wenn Sie hier bleiben, denken Sie vielleicht zweimal, bevor Sie die Klimaanlage laufen.

Wenn meine Familie nach den Poconos reist, bleiben wir immer in dieser Lage Fairfield Inn & Suites. Unser letzter Aufenthalt, vor zwei Wochen, war mein Geburtstag und Teil der Feierlichkeiten enthalten Karten und ein Geschenk für mich.
