At a guess, we have stayed at this Hotel 8-10 times over the past years. I am sorry to say that after our last experience, we will never stay there again. As a 5 Star Hotel, it was slipshod and dissappointing. On arrival, at 16.45 there was nobody on the Reception Desk, but there was a sign which said ” There is nobody on Reception at present, please take a seat and wait ! There is still construction works going on at the adjacent ****** and there are now only 4 parking spaces for guests. which includes one for disabled and one for electric car charging. The only parking is an unattended open car park some 800 metres from the Hotel and I was not prepared to leave a £200,000 car loaded with luggage, laptops, phones and personal items there. The Receptionist agreed that I could occupy a disabled person's bay on the proviso that he could move it if required. The suite on the mezzanine floor was fine apart from the following;_ - Only 5 TV channels none English. - No Notepad or pen. - No list of Telephone numbers to call reception or room service. - Ony 2 towels for 3 persons, when charged extra for 16 year old granddaughter to stay in the suite. Same for Glasses, cups, Tea bags milk. Just 2 for 3 persons. - The Wifi was awful and kept logging you off. Later found out that you could log in using any old name name and email address you cared to enter ! _ One Loo roll ,part used and no spare. - A Huge Stag Beetle was discovered on the sofa and at that point we had not opened the doors to the balcony. We were aware that the main Restaurant would be closed on the Tuesday that we arrived ,but shortly before we left England I received an email that room service would not be available either but we could have a cold meal in our room.Oh well onwards and upwards ! The cold meal turned out to be a choice between smoked salmon, cheese or cold meats each served with bread and butter. No desserts, not even Ice cream. Anyway, we opted for 2 salmon and 1 cheese. After a long wait, the receptionist knocked on the door with the salmon and cheese and a basket of bread which he had himself prepared and it comprised a single baguette cut up into slices and 3 pats of butter. The salmon was just as if it has come out of a packet and there were 6 miserable slices of 3 different cheeses. The cost for this gastronomic extravaganza was €127.00 which included Room service and a warm bottle of white wine( No Ice bucket either). Total cost for a nights stopover with breakfast with hard sausage and rubber bacon was €603.60. Sorry Pavillon, don't expect to see me again.

Fantastische Service von lokalen Management (Nicolas & Loic) zur Korrektur eines digital hergestellten Überlasts. Ich habe mein Telefon überscrollen, um einen Aufenthalt im Campanile in Villefranche sur Saone & kurz vor der Auswahl der Seitenaufladung geändert (oft und irritierend!) so dass ich versehentlich das Ecully Hotel ausgewählt. Beim Anruf des zentralen Campanile Management-Hubs innerhalb von Minuten nach der versehentlichen Fehlerauswahl traf ich eine Antwort des Typs ”Computer sagt NO”. Die Frau konnte aus ihrem Bildschirm genau lesen, was gerade passiert war, aber ”kann mir nicht helfen”. Glücklicherweise waren die strategischen Menschen (aufgerufen) viel ehrenwerter und flexibler. Sie hörten auf meine Geschichte und erstatteten mir den vollen Betrag, den ich ihnen versehentlich gezahlt hatte. Große Kudos! 👌 Wird sicherlich dort bleiben, wenn Sie in naher Zukunft nach Lyon reisen. Ich konnte die Campanile bei Villefranche sur Saone buchen Sie auf der Straße 😊

We were aware that the main Restaurant would be closed on the Tuesday that we arrived ,but shortly before we left England I received an email that room service would not be available either but we could have a cold meal in our room.Oh well onwards and upwards ! The cold meal turned out to be a choice between smoked salmon, cheese or cold meats each served with bread and butter. No desserts, not even Ice cream. Anyway, we opted for 2 salmon and 1 cheese. After a long wait, the receptionist knocked on the door with the salmon and cheese and a basket of bread which he had himself prepared and it comprised a single baguette cut up into slices and 3 pats of butter. The salmon was just as if it has come out of a packet and there were 6 miserable slices of 3 different cheeses. The cost for this gastronomic extravaganza was €127.00 which included Room service and a warm bottle of white wine( No Ice bucket either). Total cost for a nights stopover with breakfast with hard sausage and rubber bacon was €603.60. Sorry Pavillon, don't expect to see me again.

Wir gingen zwischen Freundinnen (7) Samstag Abend vor 1 Woche. Wir nahmen im Wesentlichen das Gericht „LA SANT JACQUES“ bei 28€. Ich kann Ihnen sagen, dass Sie noch sehr hungrig waren, weil die Bühne eine Bühne mit „desert“ war. Man hatte es mir noch nie für das PLAT gemacht - Es gab 5 Nüsse von heiligem Jacques mit Gnocchis sauce Safran . Es war sehr gut, aber die Menge für 1 Platte hat 28€ , nicht auf die Rendezvous - wir baten 3 Mal Brot, um uns mit der Sauce zu füllen. Für den Süßigkeiten, wir nahmen die Schokolade-Kaffee zu 13€ . Sehr gut auch, aber nicht viel in der Bühne. Das Glas von Viognier hat 8€ und das Glas von Saint Joseph hat 12€, es ist wirklich sehr teuer und wir haben geprüft, um 1 Flasche zu nehmen, keine Interesse, weil auch teuer, weil es 5 Glas enthält. Pour finir , la construction est magnifique , joliment réaménagée , mais la quantité dans l'assiette est trop petite pour le prix ..

Es ist ein schönes, solides vier-Sterne-Eigentum. Ich fand jedoch die Verwaltung außergewöhnlich schwierig zu behandeln. Sie wollten eine Gebühr von 100 Euro pro Nacht als Einzahlung über und über den Zimmerkosten, die vorbezahlt worden waren. Es war nie klar, was diese Einlage bedecken könnte. Frühstück wurde enthalten (wenngleich ich ohne die Fehler, die um die Früchte herum laufen könnten). Und da es keine Minibar im Zimmer gab, gab es nicht viele Möglichkeiten, Geld im Hotel zu spenden. Ich habe gute Erfahrungen in anderen Golden Tulip Hotels, aber der Generalmanager dieser Anlage war schrecklich.

At a guess, we have stayed at this Hotel 8-10 times over the past years. I am sorry to say that after our last experience, we will never stay there again. As a 5 Star Hotel, it was slipshod and dissappointing. On arrival, at 16.45 there was nobody on the Reception Desk, but there was a sign which said ” There is nobody on Reception at present, please take a seat and wait ! There is still construction works going on at the adjacent ****** and there are now only 4 parking spaces for guests. which includes one for disabled and one for electric car charging. The only parking is an unattended open car park some 800 metres from the Hotel and I was not prepared to leave a £200,000 car loaded with luggage, laptops, phones and personal items there. The Receptionist agreed that I could occupy a disabled person's bay on the proviso that he could move it if required. The suite on the mezzanine floor was fine apart from the following;_ - Only 5 TV channels none English. - No Notepad or pen. - No list of Telephone numbers to call reception or room service. - Ony 2 towels for 3 persons, when charged extra for 16 year old granddaughter to stay in the suite. Von außen war ich nervös über das, was ich reinkam, aber es war schöner, als es von außen aus sah. Mein erstes Eindruck war, dass der Service ausgezeichnet war. Sehr freundliche Begegnungen mit allen Mitarbeitern. Das Zimmer war eine anständige Größe und komfortabel. Der Thermostat funktionierte eigentlich, was nicht immer eine bestimmte ist. Das Frühstück war gut mit einer anständigen Auswahl. OK Lage, wenn Sie Lyon besuchen und nicht die Prämie für den Aufenthalt in der Stadt zahlen wollen. Mein einziger großer Nachteil ist, dass ich denke, es ist ein Hundfreundliches Hotel, weil es zwei Familien mit ihren Hund am Frühstück, die einen scharfen Spiel fortgesetzt haben. Nicht vor meinem Kaffee!
