Best bed ever! Very comfortable linens, mattress and pillows! Towels were a bit old but very clean!
The swimming pool is just good… kind of cold but a little warm, but not enough! So it is not comfortable being on the jacuzzi at all… and every 5/7 minutes, have to get out of the water to restart the engine…
Saunas and spa were really good!
Breakfast was very good with lots of varieties that we don’t see often in hotel in the UK. Fruits, cold cuts, cheeses, breads and all the hot british breakfast dishes.
Near a lot of restaurants and shopping locations
Would be back again to this same place

Ich war hier schon mal. Gute Dinge: günstige Lage zum zentralen Bahnhof und Geschäfte. Sehr schön und entspannend Pool mit Jacuzzi und Dampfraum. Zimmer sind OK, aber sauber mit Kaffee und Tee und Eisenbahn. Personal im Allgemeinen freundlich und hilfreich.
Gutes Frühstück.
Schlechte Dinge: Abendessen ist begrenzte Optionen, teuer und nicht gut für Geld. Um einen Schaden hinzuzufügen, hatte ich einen Dessert und es war 1/2 Rahm 🍓 am oberen Ende für Dekoration. Ich ließ das letzte Bit zu beenden, um mit zu beenden, und der Geschmack war schrecklich. Es hatte Zwiebeln Geschmack 🤧 Ich denke, sie verwendeten das gleiche Messer, um die Zwiebeln zu schneiden, um die Beeren zu schneiden, und es war überhaupt nicht nett - nur ungeschickt und unprofessionell. Abgesehen davon war alles gut und ich wäre zurück, aber ich würde es nicht gern wieder hier sein.

The apartment was very nice and also bigger than we expected. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our one night stay. They also allowed us to take our dog at the last minute as we were let down. It cos £20. It was close to where we were going to see the concert (a 4 minute walk)
The only problem was I paid trip in advance , and Roomzzz charged me again, which I had to ring and find out what was going on. They have said the money will be back in the account in a few days, so let's see

Extremely busy hotel with coach loads of people arriving. These tend to be mini breaks for the elderly. Waiting to get served or order food at the bar on an evening is terrible due to the unmanageable influx of people.
Sat and eat my evening meal on a sofa as that was all that was available due to people sat at tables that weren’t even dining (these people were waiting to be called into a function room to eat their meal as a collective).
Parking is expensive, both in the council run car park and indeed the hotels one. This hotel is on the quayside but to be clear…….. the opposite side of the river to the busy quay. With this in mind I can’t quite understand the expensive parking and expensive food and drink prices.
The hotel rooms are really clean, very modern and extremely comfortable. The hotel itself is amazing, my only criticism was the hotel was seriously under staffed and bar food and drinks expensive for what they were.

Ein Freund, der auch im Hotel war, hatte einen Unfall vom Hotel entfernt.
Er lief über einen Pavillonskerb, der seinen Kopf schneidete.
Das Rezeptionpersonal war sehr hilfreich bei der Reinigung der Schnittstellen und der Bereitstellung von Pflastern.

Das Hotel ist im Herzen von Sunderland wirklich erschwinglich. Auch auf der Hauptstraße von Sunderland zu Fuß. Nur eine entsetzliche Erfahrung war, als einige Toiletten fehlten, weil sie ”aus dem Stock” gingen. Andernfalls genossen wir wirklich unsere Zeit dort.

Everything was fine except for the service in the restaurant . Very slow and just left us sitting there . Had to go and find someone to get any service. Were left short of a dish and when we made them aware we got what we had ordered but the dish was charged twice on the bill.
Hotel is very modern and very clean , room were of a high standard.

Ich habe dieses Hotel zweimal per Unfall reserviert, weil der Trip.com Schlüsselknopf nicht funktionierte. Sie waren sehr brutal und erniedrigend, als sie mir erklärten, dass ich zurück zum Dritte-Agent gehen musste. Die letzte sagte mir dann, ich gehe zurück zum Hotel und ich ging von einer Seite zum anderen. Es war nur ein Unfall, ich weiß nicht, warum sie so insistieren, mich nicht zurückzuzahlen.

GGuest UserHotel is located conveniently next to the river. We had received a very warm welcome by the hotel staff. The room is fully equipped with basic cooking amenities. Just wish to give our special gratitude to the guy welcoming at the front desk, he has granted us everything we need and is super caring to guests. We'll definitely choose this hotel if we travel to this part of the country again.

GGastnutzerWe checked in and checked straight back out again after going into the room. The room was tiny definitely not suitable for more than 1 person. The ”double” bed was pushed right up against a wall and wasn't much bigger than a single bed. Room was dusty all over. The bathroom was bigger than the actual room although you couldn't actually sit on the toilet properly as the sink cabinet was right next to the toilet. The room stank of food as I'm guessing was above the kitchen as the big fans were next to the window. Couldn't open the window as the smell of food was then even worse so the room stank like burger grease. Room was really hot as the radiator was turned on however couldn't turn it off and opening the window wasn't an option either. Reception area is really nicely presented but definitely not a reflection on the rooms which are poor to say the least. Ended up booking into a second hotel round the corner which is amazing complete opposite end of the scale in comparison to the first. Unfortunately meant we've ended up paying for 2 hotels just for 1 night but lesson learnt.

Restaurant OK but suffers from the same ailment of so many…. Blinking awful coffee!!!! Also those awful mugs …. I have said before….. I have taken to bringing my own decent mug to drink out of.
I ate in the bar last time - similar menu ( same prices) but no booking of a table required. Just got to put up with TV with constant noise or sport……
They let me leave my luggage while I drop off or pick up a hire car…. About 10 minutes walk away.
Always my first choice.

MMichelle ElliottEinen Abend - Bankurlaub Sonntag in einem Club Doppelzimmer mit vollen englischen Frühstücksbuffet und einem Trinkgutschein. Wir blieben in Zimmer 511, das etwas geräumiger erscheint als andere Zimmer dieser Art, aber nur teilweise gesehen, weil am Ende des Korridors. Bei der Buchung hatten wir gebeten, zusätzliche Pfeile für das Bett zu haben und das wurde für unsere Ankunft gemacht. Ein sehr guter Übernachtung in einem Hotel gelegen in der einfachen Spazierweite von Bars und Restaurants auf der Queibenseite. Wir werden ein zurückkehrender Gast sein.

GGastnutzerThe staff at the hotel was very friendly. As we booked quite close to our actual trip date we didn't get a great room. Our room was at the end of the hallway next to the staff elevator. unfortunately, the door to that elevator was open half the time we were there with food scraps waiting to be taken away out in the open area. This led to ”food smells” being wafted into our room. we had to open the window the moment we entered our room because of the stuffy smell but once the window was open and there was ventilation, everything was fine.
