I had the most relaxing vacation I ever had on this island. The room was comfortable and clean. I loved swaying on the hammock in the common area and on the patio outside my Casita. The food and drinks were fantastic. I was there for a week and thought I would want to go into Granada for a couple of meals but the food at the hotel was so good I ate every meal there. And breakfast was free!! The service was incredible. They were so helpful with everything from scheduling tours and massages to making all of our various drink orders to helping us with our kayaks. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Special shout out to the handsome Captain Jack, the resident cat, who let me pet him and said goodbye to me as I left the island. My friends and I are already discussing when we can return.

This was my favorite stay at a hostel so far. The hotel was clean and modern. The staff was the best part. Alex and Eliezer were so kind and helpful, which is so important when you are a solo traveler like me. They were attentive and really made my experience here the best!! I will be coming back soon!!

Location is fabulous - beautiful colonial hotel in the heart of Granada. Doesn’t get any better than this - Rooms are beautiful - make sure to upgrade to a balcony room overlooking the square and facing the cathedral (yes the carriage horses stink and it can be a bit noisy in the early morning but worth the upgrade). The place becomes alive by 8am. - Beautiful clean and warm pool. - Breakfast has lots of choices. For vegans it’s toast, sometimes avocado, fruit & juice and beans & rice. You can also ask for just beans - they are accommodating. - Beds are large and comfortable - however, after 3 bashes & leg bruises, we had to prop pillows at the footboard to stop bashing our legs into them. - Pillows are foam and hard as a rocks. Try the sham ones. - Safe and yummy Nicaraguan coffee in the room. - Wifi is very poor! A/C is good. - TV with CNN, BBC & Fox in English. - Bar downstairs is excellent and prices are reasonable. - Water jug in hallway as you can’t drink the water. - A few irritants but highly recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff; you really feel welcome here. Spacious apartments with big, excellent rooms, and big bathrooms. Clean. Nice A/C. Dark bedroom with comfortable beds. Sleeping here was a joy. Fine kitchen with fridge/freezer and a large gas oven (remember to ask for gas upon arrival if planning to use the oven). Two flat screen TVs with several channels. Good WiFi. Lovely courtyard with clean swimming pool. I think the hotel offers good value. Plaza Marbella Granada feels like a rather expensive place, but it is really moderately priced. Tasty, filling breakfast (Nicaraguan style). Good location, everything easily within walking distance. Usually a quiet part of town, and a safe area, at least that’s what I felt. Cons: Poorly lit kitchen. Absence of a desk for work – so I used the big living room table. Also I didn’t like the security camera pretty close to my balcony, but this probably only applies to one of the apartments. To sum up. Plaza Marbella Granada is a gem that is worth staying at. The apartments, the service and the place are perfect for everyone - both business travelers as well as holidaymakers with and without children.

Sehr schönes Hotel, top Lage, Zimmer sehr gross, schöner Pool, wunderschönes Kolonialhaus, sehr schnelle, freundliches und unkompliziertes Wäsche Service. Restaurant schlechter Service, sehr Unaufmerksamkeit wenn es darum geht zu bestellen oder Salz,Pfeffer,Milch oder Zucker, hat immer gefehlt. Auch sehr langsam und man hatte of das gefühlt andere Einheimische Gäste wurden besser und aufmerksamer bedient. Zur Rezeption muss ich sagen uns bediente eine ältere Dame und eine Jüngere. Die älter hatte irgendwie mehr zusagen und war beim einchecken sehr unfreundlich. Sie wollten 140 Dollar die Nacht für die Juniosuit und ich hatte über *********** 140 Dollar für 3 Nächte in der gleichen Juniorsuite. Als ich das kommentierte hieß es:” na dann buchen Sie es doch auf booking.” Leider hatte ich kein Internet, das hat Ihr so garnicht gefallen. Als ich auch ein bisschen blöd wurde sagte sie dann doch ich solle ich mein Preis auf booking zeigen und ich musste dann den gleichen Preis bei ihr vorab bezahlen. Auch die weiteren Male die wir an dieser Frau an der Rezeption vorbei sind war sie unfreundlich, Ingnorierend und wir hatten das Gefühl nicht wilkommen zu sein. Ich als halb Nica kann das sehr gut beurteilen wenn meine Landsleute unfreundlich sind, denn der andere Rezeptionist names Byron war sehr freundlich zu uns. Zu unserem Isleta Ausflug um Hoten gebucht hatten wir überhaupt keine Information bekommen. Da bietet jeder Typ an der Strasse mehr Infos und ist günstiger.

Friendly staff who speak excellent English. The room is simple but comfortable. The accommodation is in a very good location in a small side street, practically near the main square, but at the same time away from the noise of the tourist area. Delicious breakfast and excellent value for money.

El hotel es viejo o mejor decir antiguo. Está ubicado en buen lugar de acceso a la catedral, bares y restaurantes, y el lago. Las personas son muy amables.
