This is a hotel with a bit of history; while it is very convenient for those traveling by car, overseas tourists should weigh the pros and cons. For instance, guests need to know how to take the bus into the city center or how to book a taxi to the hotel or station. On the plus side, the breakfast is hearty and delicious—definitely worth mentioning! However, do note that there are no in-room safes, and the bath room size is smaller.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, it is a doggy friendly, it has a nice walking area and grasslands, and the hotel is very clean, we had a the amazing breakfast and also some fish and chips at the bar, we did not use the restaurant. It is far away from Downtown Oxford, but that is exactly its charm, a quiet area to wind down. Unfortunately one day the fire alarm woke all of us up at 4am in the morning. Which made us pretty sleepy, there was no compensation for this. It was interesting though to see an English Firetruck from nearby. Extra water bottles or a free drink would have been nice. The pool is only open to children for a very short amount of time. And the Dampfbad was smelling moldy.

It was nice stay. The location was not that great. Breakfast was not buffet but with nice view though the weather was bad that time. The kettle has leftover water and has a lot of scales. The changing room and the showers in the pool was freezing.

Excellent location, a lovely walk into the town centre which means you can enjoy the beautiful city without the hassle of trying to park and avoid the new congestion charge. Beds are really comfy and rooms are really quiet. We used to always stay at the Randolph but Voco is just miles better value for money and quieter.

Schöne Lage und gutes Essen – mit Luft nach oben Das Hotel liegt idyllisch in der Nähe von Oxford und bietet eine schöne, ruhige Umgebung – ideal zum Entspannen. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich das Essen: sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren wirklich sehr gut und haben uns positiv überrascht. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich, und wir haben uns insgesamt wohlgefühlt. Dennoch gibt es einige Punkte, bei denen noch Potenzial nach oben besteht. Der Pool ist leider recht klein, und obwohl mit Wellness geworben wird, ist das Angebot in diesem Bereich eher begrenzt. Auch beim Ambiente hat uns ein wenig die Liebe zum Detail gefehlt – der Speiseraum wirkte eher wie ein typischer Frühstücksraum in einem Großhotel, und die Stühle waren nicht besonders bequem. Unser Zimmer bot leider Ausblick auf den Parkplatz, was bei der ländlichen Lage eigentlich vermeidbar wäre. Insgesamt ist es ein gutes Hotel mit vielen Ansätzen, aber hier und da fehlt noch das gewisse Etwas, um wirklich herausragend zu sein. Für einen kurzen, ruhigen Aufenthalt aber dennoch empfehlenswert.

Dieses Hotel muss eine Selbstfahrertour sein, bevor Sie übernachten können. Es ist eine 10-minütige Fahrt vom Dorf Bicester entfernt. Die Hotelumgebung ist auf dem Golfplatz sehr gut. Die Geräte und Einrichtungen sind nicht neu, aber sauber und effektiv. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit einem großen Doppelbett und einem Einzelbett. Das Frühstück ist ein traditionelles britisches Frühstück. Es gibt auch gegrillten gesalzenen Fisch à la carte. Es ist nicht schlecht. Der Parkplatz ist kostenlos. Es ist ein Standard-Vier-Sterne-Hotel und das beste Hotel in der Nähe von Bicester Village.
