Our stay may have been coloured by the rainy weather because in sunnier times the views from the Leigh Park Hotel would have been even better. The train station to Bath from Bradford upon Avon is very walkable but it is downhill from the hotel (some very steep bits) nearly all the way and after a busy day in Bath we elected to get a taxi back the walk back up that hill would have put a downer on the day (and I normally do 4 mile runs twice a week, so I am pretty fit!) The room we had was really big, as was the bathroom. The shower was really powerful and got warm almost immediately. The staff were really friendly and the the ambience of the hotel was classy. The breakfast area looking out over the grounds was really nice and I'd definitely like to sit there and enjoy a drink on a summer's evening. I managed to charge my electric car with the type 2 charging station. Unfortunately, it only delivered 7 kW so I only managed a small top up. The hotel breakfast was self service but the containers that were holding the food failed to keep it particularly warm. That is something that could be improved. Also the breakfast choice could have been a little wider (e.g. no tomatoes were offered as part of the English Breakfast). Having said that the breakfast tasted good. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would consider visiting again.

I booked this hotel for two nights so my child could enjoy the swimming pool, but unfortunately, it was closed for upgrades. This was not mentioned when booking, and we only found out at check-in, which left my child very disappointed. The real highlight of this hotel is the staff. From reception to the restaurant team and cleaners, everyone was professional, hardworking, and genuinely kind. Their service was some of the best I’ve experienced in the UK, and they really do their best to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The downside is the building itself, which is very dated. The rooms are squeaky, the doors and hallways are worn, and there’s no elevator. I saw several guests struggling with heavy luggage on the stairs, so if you have large bags, I’d strongly recommend requesting a ground floor room. That said, the building itself is outdated and badly in need of renovations. Doors have chipped paint, the hallway lighting is old, the sauna and changing rooms are poorly designed, and the gym has very limited space and equipment. Compared to other hotels in Swindon, this one feels extremely dated. Overall, my experience was good thanks to the wonderful staff and their service. I would consider staying here again, but for better value, there are other hotels nearby with larger rooms, elevators, modern facilities, and a better breakfast and restaurant experience. I truly hope Holiday Inn Swindon invests in a full upgrade of the building and facilities—partial, low-quality renovations (like the bathrooms) won’t be enough.

Wirklich wunderschön wie immer. Gerade jetzt in der Vorweihnachtszeit verleiht die festliche Beleuchtung Bar und Restaurant eine besonders gemütliche und luxuriöse Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist freundlich, aufmerksam und kümmert sich wirklich um die Gäste. Sehr angenehm. Das Zimmer ist gemütlich und die Dusche hat einen super Wasserdruck.

The hotel location is good. Quite quick and convenient for checking in the hotel. However, the room was outdated with old carpet. The air condition was very old and so loud.

Schönes Hotel, freundliches und freundliches Personal, großartige Parkplätze, ausgezeichnete Lage im Herzen der Stadt. Nur negativ sind die Farben auf den Badewannen, die leicht mit etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit auf die Details entfernen können und der kalte Schnappdeckel kaum Wasser auslassen. Leider gab es keine echte Ale verfügbar, während wir da waren, so dass wir uns davon abhalten, diese Anlage zu genießen.

I remember watching the hotel being built and said I would never stay there! How wrong I was! It's so quiet and very convenient for everything. Good choice of food for breakfast, even gluten free! The staff were always polite and helpful, replenishing food as it was used. Choice of coffee/tea. Can fully recommend this hotel and would/will definitely stay there again! На завтрак бомбическая выпечка. Да и в целом хороший завтрак. Обычный чистый номер, никаких нареканий. Расположение отличное, собор три минуты пешком. Впрочем тут весь город десять минут пешком от края до края :)

Such a great team, extremely friendly they have just refurbished the rooms and hotel The mocktails were amazing The food is extremely good, I actually invited my local friends down for Dinner and lunch and they were talking about it the next day which is always a good sign. I would definitely stay again the only thing I would say, is the beds/mattress are extremely firm. But everything else is perfect 👌

Englische Häuser und englische Treppen eignen sich nicht für großes Gepäck, um nach oben zu gelangen. Englisches Frühstück ist in Ordnung, kostenlose Parkplätze. Das Zimmer ist in Ordnung, das Geschäft ist groß genug. Der Garten hinter dem Haus ist ruhig.

Schöne Aufenthalt im 1. Stock, schöne moderne Zimmer, komfortable Bett, große TV und ein so schönes Badezimmer, große Dusche und der wunderschönste Aufenthalt haben wir hier schon einmal klimatisierte Werke eine Behandlung auch :)
