This is a good hotel to stay in Santiago, great location, clean/prompt room service, fairly new facilities. But not yet living to the claim of ”the best” hotel in Santiago from my experience. I travelled with my family of 2 seniors, 2 adults and one 2yo toddler. I booked two rooms for two nights - delux king with view (1110) and club level king (1704). After check in, the experience is flawless: prompt room service, extremely friendly and accommodating staff and modern facility. Not to mention the views! However, pre/post check-in experience needs some polishing and made my experience imperfect: - staff did not help at all when we arrived: no one helped us at all when we arrived in a uber (black) with 2 big luggage and a crying toddler at the hotel door. there is a bellboy holding someone elses' luggage and a security-looking guy in black suit standing there near our car. But no other guests they needed to attend to. They both just stared us from when we get out of our car, trying to grab the toddler that's running around crying, getting two big luggages from the trunk until half way into the revolving door. No one opened/held the car door, or even asked if we needed any help, they just stood there staring at us for the whole period! (maybe we were underdressed for the best hotel?) I almost thought their job was not to help guests out of their cars but apparently not the case with other guests. - check out took so long and no special consideration for guests in a rush:They made a mistake in my final bill so I had to go through the line and talk to someone instead of dropping off the keys. even though I mentioned I have a flight to catch I still had to stay in the queue with other guests that are checking in. I was delayed by a good 20 minutes.... there was a long line but only 3/4 counters were used though there are plenty of staff. Everything else was perfect. But being one of the most expensive hotels in Santiago I certainly expect a better experience with the above two points.

Hier ist eine Probebewertung für ein Hotel: --- **Exceptional Aufenthalt im Grand Harbor Hotel! ** Ich hatte vor kurzem die Freude, im Grand Harbor Hotel zu bleiben, und ich muss sagen, dass es alle meine Erwartungen überschritten hat. Von dem Moment, als ich ankam, wurde ich von der freundlichen und professionellen Mitarbeiter, die schnell und einfach check-in gemacht, begrüßt. Die Lobby wurde elegant gestaltet, die eine warme und einladende Atmosphäre schafft. Mein Zimmer war geräumig, unspottbar und schön eingerichtet, mit erstaunlichen Blicken auf den Hafen. Das Bett war unglaublich komfortabel, und die Einrichtungen, die mir gegeben wurden, sicherte, dass ich alles hatte, was ich für einen entspannenden Aufenthalt benötigt hatte. Das komplimentäre Wi-Fi hat während meiner gesamten Reise unschön funktioniert, was für Geschäfts- und Freizeitzwecke ein enormes Plus war. Das Hotel’s Restaurant auf der Website bietet eine hervorragende Speiseerlebnis. Das Frühstücksangebot war großartig, mit frischen, leckeren Möglichkeiten, den Tag zu beginnen. Ich hatte auch die Gelegenheit, zu Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant zu versuchen, und das Essen war top-notch, mit kreativen Gerichten, die fachgemäß zubereitet wurden. Einer der Highlights meines Aufenthalts war das Hotel’s Spa, das eine ruhige und rejuvenative Atmosphäre bietet. Die Dienstleistungen waren erbarmungsvoll, und das Personal war professionell und aufmerksam. Die Lage ist perfekt, nahe dem Stadtzentrum, so dass es einfach zu erkunden lokale Attraktionen, aber auch friedlich genug, um einen ruhigen Schlaf der Nacht zu genießen. Das Hotel hat insgesamt eine wirklich erstaunliche Erfahrung gegeben, und ich freue mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch wieder hier zu bleiben. Sehr empfohlen!

Wir kamen sehr spät, 1:14am wegen Flugverzögerungen und der Concierge war noch für uns geöffnet und erhielt einen warmen Gruß. Das Frühstück hat verschiedene Lebensmittel. Wir blieben für 2 Nächte und werden wieder auf unsere nächste Reise kommen!

Good quality hotel for a short stay in the Providencia district, near all main attractions and shopping venues. From the higher floors there is a good view on the city and the sunset. On the points to be aware of: the air conditioning system in the room is located near the bed and this makes sleeping not very comfortable. Also I would not rely on the reception calling taxi for you - in our case their partner company announced a 45 minute waiting time in the morning right before our flight.

This is a story of 2 parts over 2 stays 11 days apart. The first stay was pretty good, we had a room on the 17th floor where the views were amazing The room was large and clean. The shower is a plastic insert and very slippery when wet. The shower head was large but a lot of the holes were blocked, but effective enough. The wi-fi was good, the breakfast was OK. We had lunch there as part of a group and it was very poor. The steak was like rubber. The bed was very firm and very high off the ground. So overall this stay was pretty good. However stay No2 came along. This time the room was on the 3rd floor so views of air conditioning units were in your face, but not a problem. This time there were 2 significant issues. The floor was very dirty, feet ended up black after a shower. The second issue is that the room was located in the foyer next to the elevators. All night there was loud music which penetrated our room making sleeping difficult. We rang the night manager but he could do nothing about it as he did not know where the on/off switch was. Make sure you do not book any room around the elevator foyers.

We were very frustrated upon arrival as we had advised our flight and ETA and nobody was there to pick us up. We had to pay US$32.00 to take a taxi which was crazy and upon arrival at hotel we were told that the phones were donw (as we did try to call several times without a response). There should have been some form of communication even via Whats app or email and there was none. The phones had been down since 10 am that morning. Before storm started In the evening we had dinner and the service of 3 people was super slow with a number of people being frustrated. On the other hand next day for lunch we had Monica and she was amazing waitress.

It was OUTSTANDING, everyone at this hotel provides the best service a 5 Star hotel can give. From the concierge all the door people, the front desk, to the RESTAURANT where I had the BEST salmon Salad ever, (I asked to please put on the grill my raw salmon and it was late at knight, they were closed, they where cleaning) and they pleased me any way, I even asked if I could take it into my room, and they gave me Room service. I LOVED THIS HOTEL!, I will highly recommend it to EVERYONE

Super close to the airport. Excellent for transit. The airport transfer service is complimentary and reliable. Driver made clear instruction on pick up so that it was smooth. Transfer to the airport was arranged on arrival to the hotel. The room is big with high ceiling. There is nothing to complain about the room. Just there is no supermarket / restaurant near by the hotel.

INSTALLATIONS- UND ARTIKELN sind alt und beschädigt. So war z. B. der Toilettenbeutel sehr verbraucht. Die Haupttür des Zimmers schloss nicht gut. Im Falle einer Notlage hätte man sich verriegelt. Zubehör wie Seife, Shampoo, war nur für eine Person und die Zahlung war größer als die auf der Seite angekündigte. Und das Frühstück war nicht verändert, zum Beispiel fehlen Alternativen zu Süßigkeiten, oder es gab keinen Tocino ...

Vielen Dank für den wundervollen Aufenthalt! Mein Freund und ich haben uns hier rundum wohlgefühlt – es war mit Abstand die beste Unterkunft auf unserer gesamten Südamerikareise. Das Zimmer war nicht nur äußerst sauber und komfortabel, sondern auch modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Besonders begeistert hat uns die Liebe zum Detail, die sich in der gesamten Gestaltung des Hostels widerspiegelt. Auch das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight: Die Auswahl war vielfältig, alles frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Ein perfekter Start in den Tag! Vielen lieben Dank
