Hotels mit Frühstück in Sardinien, Italien

We recently stayed at Mangia's Sardinia Resort for one week, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations. When we arrived at around 3:30 pm, we were told our room was not yet ready, which we completely understood. The reception staff asked us to wait at the bar next to reception and said they would inform us as soon as the room was available. However, after waiting for two and a half hours without any update, we went back to reception ourselves, only to be told that our room had been ready for some time and they had simply forgotten to inform us. This was not a great start to our holiday. We also booked boat trips through the resort for Saturday and Sunday. We were asked to pay for the Sunday trip first because they weren't sure whether the Saturday trip would be available. We were told they would send us a message with an update, but we never received one. The day before, we had to go back to reception to ask again, only to find out that the reception and the boat excursion desk are managed separately, so the reception staff couldn't help us, and by then the excursion desk was already closed. Better communication between departments would have avoided this inconvenience. The resort has four restaurants, but three of them require advance reservations. By the time we arrived on our first day and tried to book, they were already fully booked for most of our stay. Since we were staying for seven nights, it was very disappointing that we were only able to dine at one of the specialty restaurants. Guests staying for a full week should have a better opportunity to experience the different dining options. Finally, we also had a disappointing experience at the Lime Bar. The kitchen officially closes at 5:30 pm, and we arrived at around 5:00 pm hoping to order burgers and sandwiches. We were told they could not accept any more orders because there were already too many in the queue, and they wanted to finish serving by 5:30 pm. It was frustrating to be turned away 30 minutes before the advertised closing time. Overall, while the resort itself is beautiful and has great potential, the organisation and communication between staff and departments need significant improvement. Unfortunately, these repeated issues affected our holiday, and for that reason I cannot say we were fully satisfied with our stay.

It is located in the Chia Laguna, one of the clusters of 4 and 5 stars of hotels. Beautifully managed landscapes and access to private beaches make this resort very attractive. However, it is for those who don't care about the quality of the hotel and for those who want to just sleep at night and take the most of the activities outside of the room. In terms of quality of the room, it requires lots of attention. You are most likely to enter your room through the sliding door, and then there is your bed, and there is a bathroom with a shower and toilet, bidet, and the sink. The bed is not comfortable, and there is a weird sewage smell coming from the bathroom, we had to spray our perfume and close the bathroom door, and leave the bathroom windows open. Typically, the hotel bathroom is a joy to enter, but this bathroom was one of those bathrooms that wanted to get out as fast as possible, especially with sewage smell. I had to dry my hair outside of bathroom so the sewage smell doesn't get to my hair. (Enough said) On top of our not-so-impressed experience, our neighbor left the TV on loud and party in their room until 3am, we couldn't sleep at all. Contacted the front desk at 1am, but loud noise still continued. Thank God, we only had to stay 1 night. I would have looked for another hotel if we had to stay one more night. Hotel reservations came with 2 meals, breakfast, and a dinner buffet. It was one of the worst food experiences not only in Italy but also in all the places we have ever been. At a glance, the buffet seemed fine and attractive, but as soon as we started tasting the food, we felt right away, we cannot expect much. Most of the dishes were extremely salty, lacked flavors, and the quality of each ingredient was bad compared to the dishes that we experienced in Cagliari. If you only care about the location and the beautiful beach access, this is the place for you, but if you care about all the aspects of what the resort hotel supposed to offer, it might be wise to either spend a bit more money and stay at either Curio or Conrad properties or consider different location or hotels. Hope this review helps you to decide where to stay in Chia Laguna.

Good standard hotel with spacious if somewhat dated but clean rooms and a nice pool with bar. Great location if you want to be close to Olbia Terranova train station as it’s next door. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the old town. Rooms do not have soundproofing so not ideal for light sleepers. I arrived at 12:30 and was told the room would be ready between 2and 3p. As check-in officially starts at 2pm I sat down and waited patiently only to see some other guests get a room straight away. At 2:15pm a Dutch guest kicked up a fuss when he was told his room wasn’t ready and he too was then given a room. At this point I protested (having waited for 1hr30) and then also got a room. Whilst the reception staff were friendly this was not a great check-in experience.

This camping is located in beautiful settings in Porte del Porticciolo area, that is a part of a beautiful nature park. There is a almost private bay with a beach, with beautiful views over the old historical tower and evenings you can see a beautiful sunset front of you. Camping has a friedly helpful staff. Little cottage where we stayed is cute but very poorly sound Insulated, you can help absolutely everything from the room attached with my room even the talking was with normal tone. This camping would have a lot more potential, but its kind of feels dated and let down. Coffee place staff were helpful but food selection very poor. Sunday morning there was exactly 1 croissant, one cream Danish and something else available, nothing else. Also selection of ready packed toast. Sad offering to be honest. Camping has a super market that closes everyday between 13-17, that makes no sense in the camping area. Restaurant staff was very charming but pizza can only be eaten evenings, no for lunch, and house wine in caraf is only available evenings. Pizza selection was very limited and not the best flavour. Again, very bizarre. Swimming pool closes 7pm, still when its beautiful evening sun, that goes down 9pm. Evenings had live music that was actually quite enjoyable but otherwise this camping amenities are poor and give you a feeling that its rundown and only to made to make money and nothing else. If you want an air-conditioning in your cottage or room, be prepared to pay 40€ per day for this luxuries. So basically saying, I didn't totally disliked my stay but I wouldn't come back either. Thank you for a lovely staff members in the pool, restaurant, shop, coffee shop and beach bar, and check in person was also very nice

Wenn Sie die Treppe runtergehen, ist es ein privater Strand und die geografische Lage ist überlegen. Obwohl es im Herbst ist, ist es ein gutes Privatsphäre, weil es ein mittelgroßes Hotel ist. Leider ist nur ein Essen, das Frühstück mit Selbsthilfe ist sehr wenig, das Abendessen ist sehr normal und nicht besonders lecker.

Das Hotel liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Gegend. Alles ist sauber und angenehm, und der Strand und das Meer sind einfach traumhaft. Die natürliche Umgebung ist definitiv eines der größten Pluspunkte des Hotels. Die Zimmer sind sauber, aber die Standardzimmer sind extrem klein. Es gibt kaum Platz, um auch nur einen Koffer abzustellen. Soweit wir wissen, wird das Hotel demnächst wegen Renovierungsarbeiten geschlossen, was vermutlich eine gute Idee ist. Insgesamt würde ich sagen, dass das Hotel seine vier Sterne verdient. Der Service ist gut, ebenso Frühstück und Abendessen, obwohl die Präsentation der Speisen manchmal etwas überladen wirkt. Was uns jedoch wirklich enttäuscht hat, waren die vielen Zusatzkosten. Wenn man zum Beispiel Speck zu den Eiern beim Frühstück möchte, muss man 3 € extra bezahlen. Möchte man drei statt zwei Eier, kostet das zusätzliche Ei 1 € extra. Für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse ist das unnötig und ziemlich überraschend. Dasselbe gilt für den Strand. Obwohl das Hotel einen eigenen Strand hat, müssen die Gäste trotzdem für die Liegen bezahlen. Uns wurde gesagt, dass zwei Sonnenliegen etwa 50 € pro Tag kosten. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass wir über 400 € pro Nacht für das Zimmer bezahlt haben, waren wir sehr enttäuscht, für so viele grundlegende Dinge extra zahlen zu müssen. Bei diesem Preis sollten Frühstück und Sonnenliegen selbstverständlich inklusive sein. Die Lage ist fantastisch, der Strand wunderschön, das Wasser herrlich und das Hotel selbst sauber und angenehm. Leider haben die ständigen Zusatzkosten unseren Aufenthalt erheblich beeinträchtigt.

Wunderschönes, neues Hotel in abgeschiedener Lage im Nordwesten Sardiniens. Wir waren begeistert von der modernen Inneneinrichtung, dem Poolbereich und dem super bequemen Bett. Das Personal in der Hotellobby war hilfsbereit und freundlich. Insgesamt hatten wir einen wundervollen Aufenthalt, allerdings hatten wir das Gefühl, dass das Hotel einige Dinge tun könnte, um das Gästeerlebnis zu verbessern, insbesondere für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel: 1. Uns fiel Schimmel in den Ecken der Dusche und auf dem Duschkopf auf. Vielleicht reinigt das Reinigungspersonal nicht gründlich oder denkt nicht daran, das Schimmelproblem zu behandeln, was für ein neues Hotel enttäuschend ist; 2. Die Speisekarte für Pool- und Zimmerservice ist teuer und sehr begrenzt und bietet nur wenige Optionen. Wir haben nichts dagegen, Hotelpreise zu zahlen, fanden die Speisekarte jedoch nicht so appetitlich und aßen schließlich außer zum Frühstück die ganze Zeit außerhalb des Hotels. In Anbetracht der Lage abseits der Stadt könnte das Hotel einfache Gerichte wie Pizza anbieten, um die Gäste im Hotel zu halten. Das Frühstück war großartig mit vielen süßen Gebäckoptionen, es gab jedoch nur begrenzte warme Speisen wie Eier, Würstchen und Speck; 3. In dem Zimmer, in dem wir uns befanden, fühlte es sich wie ein Erdbeben an und wir erschreckten uns jedes Mal, wenn die Gäste unter uns ihr Zimmer betraten oder verließen.

You get what you pay for. Has all the basics, no frills. Staff friendly and assisted with my case as there is no lift. TV remote was temperamental, reported this and was told I would be getting a replacement the next day, no replacement forthcoming but wasn’t a big deal as only Italian channels. Coffee machine in the room was pre-filled with water but coffee pods have to be purchased separately.  The wash basin had cracks, the shower was initially hit but soon went quite cool almost cold. The white bath towel had marks on it! The double bed was made up from 2 single mattresses which were not adjoined therefore, mid sleep the two parted company by some 6 inches .The street is reasonably quiet evening time however, early morning sees the nearby businesses empty the previous evening empty bottles into the bin directly positioned below my room. There is also a school nearby where the little ones gather waiting for the doors to open, the excited chatter didn’t bother me but it might some people. Great location for good shops/restaurants/cafes, train and buses and easy walk to the beautiful Marina.

We stayed for 2 nights because we had a catamaran tour day booked from the marina: We loved the orange and blue interior of the Junior suite which was spotless and well appointed. As ports go, it is nice port to have a view of from the balcony (over the car park). It was October and we had no problem parking directly in front of the hotel in the public parking for €12 a day and it was therefore also a quiet sleep. Reception were very courteous and efficient checking us in and recommending restaurants after we found out that La Gritta had closed for the season already. The location could not be more convenient for bars restaurants and shops too which suited us very well as we were in a road trip and it’s sometimes nice to ditch the car on arrival. The breakfast buffet was extensive especially the variety of pastries but there was also scrambled eggs and bacon which we had not seen in other hotels. The breakfast coffee was from a machine and not as nice as when it is made by a barista during the breakfast service elsewhere.

Abbiamo pernottato una notte al con mia moglie, mio figlio e la sua fidanzata, e l’esperienza è stata decisamente positiva. Hotel moderno, elegante ma senza essere freddo: si respira professionalità e attenzione al cliente fin dall’ingresso. Camere spaziose, pulitissime e molto silenziose, perfette per riposare davvero. Letti comodi (cosa non scontata) e bagno impeccabile. Personale cortese, disponibile e sempre sorridente, sia al check-in che durante il soggiorno. Colazione abbondante e di qualità, con ampia scelta sia dolce che salata, adatta a tutti. Posizione comoda per muoversi in città, con parcheggio disponibile, che a Cagliari è un bel plus. In sintesi: hotel curato, serio, ben gestito. Ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio come in famiglia, ma con lo standard di un vero 4 stelle. Torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo senza esitazioni.
