It's situated on a large lot with a "tiki" deck in the front where you can sit back and relax while enjoying an early morning coffee, or a late evening drink while watching the stars. Well, not really, as it'll most likely be too light to see the stars. However, fall and winter stargazing is amazing if it's not raining.Don't be surprised if you're visited by bear, deer or a porcupine during your stay. We usually see quite a few each summer as the house is surrounded by woods.Off the family room you can enjoy a large deck (16' x 40') with a BBQ under a covered area. That way you can BBQ rain or shine. There is hot tub at the end of the deck, but unfortunately it is currently not functional. Hope to have it working, or replaced, by next summer. We have a large open yard that is surrounded by trees and views of Mt. McGinnis. Mt. McGinnis borders the left side of the Mendenhall Glacier. You'll have access to everything in the 2200 sq/ft house except the garage, storage pantry and owners bedroom suite. Upstairs, you'll find: - Two bedrooms - one with a queen Tempur-Pedic bed and the other has a full-size bed. Each room has a TV and a closet. - Full bathroom with tub/shower combo, sink, and toilet.- A "loft" area with a full-size bed, treadmill, and TV. - Washer and dryer. Downstair,s you'll find: - A great room with a kitchen, family area, and dining area.- A beautiful granite countertop kitchen and pretty much everything you need to cook at home if you prefer.
