Als treuer Kunde und Mitglied des Mandarin Oriental Hotel möchte ich ganz ernsthaft zum Ausdruck bringen, dass ich von den Dienstleistungen und Einrichtungen des Mandarin Oriental, Taipei äußerst enttäuscht bin. Als Erstes muss betont werden, dass die Lage des Hotels sehr günstig ist und die Suiten sehr geräumig und komfortabel sind. Aber jeden Morgen um 6 oder 7 Uhr werde ich von dem blendenden Sonnenlicht geweckt, das durch die Vorhänge scheint. Ich kann nicht glauben, dass die Vorhänge so sind ein 30 %iger Schattierungseffekt. Nach dem Auschecken und dem Rückflug nach Hongkong erhielt ich an diesem Abend tatsächlich eine Zahlungserinnerung per E-Mail vom Hotel, in der mir mitgeteilt wurde, dass ich die Getränke in der Minibar verbraucht hatte und die Zahlung nachholen musste. Da das an diesem Tag passiert ist, bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, dass ich keinen Alkohol getrunken habe, aber wie kann ich das als Gast beweisen? Da kann man nur in endloses Gerangel verfallen. Daher kann ich nur sagen, dass ich von der chaotischen Führung dieses Hotels sehr schockiert und überrascht war, sofern nicht etwas Unerwartetes passiert, werde ich dieses Hotel in Zukunft nicht mehr buchen.

Das Hotel ist sehr günstig gelegen, nicht weit von der MRT-Station entfernt. In der Nähe gibt es viele Supermärkte, Geschäfte und einen Nachtmarkt, was die Erkundung der Umgebung sehr einfach macht. Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert, verfügen über viele TV-Kanäle, ein Bidet und große Panoramafenster. Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist hochwertig und bietet ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für den regulären Preis. An Feiertagen verdoppeln sich die Preise jedoch. Es gibt viele internationale, japanische und koreanische Gäste, was auf seinen guten Ruf hindeutet. Letztes Mal wollte ich aufgrund der Etage das Zimmer wechseln, und das Hotelpersonal hat mir sehr herzlich geholfen. Insgesamt ist es wirklich toll.

(Keine Rückerstattung nach Taifun – Erfahrungsbericht beachten) Beim Einchecken erklärte uns das Personal, dass der Pool weiterhin nutzbar ist, außer bei Gewitter 🤣🤣🤣. Rettungsschwimmer sind weiterhin am Strand im Einsatz, und Sie können im Sand buddeln! Die Einheimischen in Kenting sind total entspannt 🫣 • Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Xiaowan Beach und bietet kostenlose Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme, kostenlosen Handtuchverleih und Duschservice. • Verbringen Sie einen ganzen Tag im Hotel! Die gesamte Etage verfügt über einen Spielbereich mit Bällebad, Rutschen, Zelten, Kletterwand, Tischtennisplatte, Billard, Basketballkörben, einem Fitnessraum und vielem mehr. • Geräumige und saubere Zimmer, separate Nass- und Trockenbereiche im Badezimmer und eine Badewanne zum Entspannen. • Familienfreundlich! Es gibt Kinderbadewannen, kleine Hocker, Hausschuhe, Kinderzahnbürsten und Duschgel – sehr aufmerksam. • Nachteile: • Das Hotel ist recht alt; obwohl einige Zimmer instand gehalten wurden, sind die Gebrauchsspuren deutlich sichtbar. • Während der Sommerferien und an Wochenenden ist es extrem voll; beim Frühstück kann es zu Wartezeiten kommen, daher empfiehlt es sich, früh zu früh zu essen. (700 NTD pro Person, relativ günstig) Familienfreundliche Ausstattung: Babybetten, Babybadewannen und Flaschensterilisatoren können ausgeliehen werden, jedoch nur in begrenzter Anzahl und mit Reservierung. Babybadesets und Kinderzahnbürsten sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder: Kinderbecken, Kinderspielplatz (geeignet für jüngere Kinder), Kletterwand, Familienspielhaus (Baseballraum), Videospielbereich! Hotel is relative clean. Stayed in a single room with a semi double bed. Size is decent but didn’t realised it was behind the lifts, could hear the lift moving through out the day. The shower head position is pretty bad. It’s not on an angle it’s pretty much like spraying directly into your body. It would be great if they could address this. It’s 15 mins walk from the metro station so not closed. Also there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Crawled out of the drain

1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Vier-Sterne-Hotels sind relativ teurer als Fünf-Sterne-Hotels. Aber die Inneneinrichtung des Zimmers ist sehr schön und meine Wohnung hat einen kleinen Balkon, auf dem ich die Sonne genießen kann, was ein sehr gutes Gefühl ist. Der Service an der Rezeption ist sehr gut, Fünf-Sterne-Niveau. Es gibt nicht viele Frühstücksvarianten, aber die Qualität ist gut. Insgesamt ist dieses Hotel für Alleinreisende geeignet. Darüber hinaus denke ich, dass der größte Vorteil des Lebens hier darin besteht, dass es in der Nähe viele hochwertige kleine Restaurants gibt, darunter koreanische, westliche und japanische Gerichte. Wenn es einen Rabatt für einen Aufenthalt von drei aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen gibt, würde ich ihn meiner Meinung nach jedes Mal, wenn ich nach Taipeh komme, gerne buchen.

Das Zimmer selbst ist groß, aber die Buchung näher an das Datum wäre günstiger gewesen. Lage ist ziemlich weit einschließlich der Uber-Bahnstation, so dass ich überall verwendet. Check-in ist strikt um 4 Uhr, aber sie bieten Gepäckspeicherung Service. Der Teil, den ich am meisten liebe, ist das riesige Bildschirm-TV, das mit Streaming-Apps wie Netflix und YouTube verbunden ist. Das Badezimmer’s Toilette ist ein mit einem Bidet, das ein riesiger Pluspunkt ist.

Ich liebe dieses Hotel, obwohl die Lage furchtbar ist. Das Personal, die Gastfreundschaft und die unzähligen Veranstaltungen haben mich begeistert. Ich habe die Dachterrassenbar besucht und dort entspannt – für jeden ausgegebenen 350 NTD gab es einen Gutschein. Das private Onsen in jedem Zimmer war fantastisch. Ich war innerhalb von zwei Monaten zweimal hier. Das Frühstück war wunderbar! Die Kellnerin kannte uns und unsere Zimmernummern. Sie hielten unauffällig Ausschau nach einem Tisch für sechs Personen. Das Restaurant war geräumig, wodurch die Sitzplätze etwas kleiner, aber umso eleganter waren. Ein wirklich tolles Erlebnis! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn ich nach Jiao Xi reise!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Miramar sehr genossen. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig und bot fast alles, was wir brauchten (Toilettenartikel wurden aus Nachhaltigkeitsgründen nicht bereitgestellt, konnten aber laut Auskunft an der Rezeption erworben oder angefordert werden). Shampoo, Seife und Spülung gehörten zu den besten, die ich je in einem Hotel benutzt habe. Der Fitnessraum wirkte zwar etwas eng, war aber gut ausgestattet (auch mit einer Smith-Maschine). Obwohl ich ihn nicht genutzt habe, gab es auch ein Onsen-Bad mit guter Ausstattung und zwei separate Pools. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten, darunter eine Nudel- und Omelettstation, an der man sich die Speisen frisch zubereiten lassen konnte. Besonders gut gefielen mir die täglich wechselnden Gerichte. Der zehnminütige Fußweg zur nächsten MRT-Station störte mich nicht, und ich fand es toll, dass man direkt gegenüber dem Hotel freien Eintritt ins Kunstmuseum hatte.
