Als treuer Kunde und Mitglied des Mandarin Oriental Hotel möchte ich ganz ernsthaft zum Ausdruck bringen, dass ich von den Dienstleistungen und Einrichtungen des Mandarin Oriental, Taipei äußerst enttäuscht bin. Als Erstes muss betont werden, dass die Lage des Hotels sehr günstig ist und die Suiten sehr geräumig und komfortabel sind. Aber jeden Morgen um 6 oder 7 Uhr werde ich von dem blendenden Sonnenlicht geweckt, das durch die Vorhänge scheint. Ich kann nicht glauben, dass die Vorhänge so sind ein 30 %iger Schattierungseffekt. Nach dem Auschecken und dem Rückflug nach Hongkong erhielt ich an diesem Abend tatsächlich eine Zahlungserinnerung per E-Mail vom Hotel, in der mir mitgeteilt wurde, dass ich die Getränke in der Minibar verbraucht hatte und die Zahlung nachholen musste. Da das an diesem Tag passiert ist, bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, dass ich keinen Alkohol getrunken habe, aber wie kann ich das als Gast beweisen? Da kann man nur in endloses Gerangel verfallen. Daher kann ich nur sagen, dass ich von der chaotischen Führung dieses Hotels sehr schockiert und überrascht war, sofern nicht etwas Unerwartetes passiert, werde ich dieses Hotel in Zukunft nicht mehr buchen.

Hotel is relative clean. Stayed in a single room with a semi double bed. Size is decent but didn’t realised it was behind the lifts, could hear the lift moving through out the day. The shower head position is pretty bad. It’s not on an angle it’s pretty much like spraying directly into your body. It would be great if they could address this. It’s 15 mins walk from the metro station so not closed. Also there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Crawled out of the drain

1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Es waren wirklich viele Gäste eingecheckt, und das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Am besten gefielen mir die taiwanesischen Reisbällchen und das Hackfleisch mit Reis. Was mich jedoch verwundert hat: Meine Familie wohnt schon lange hier und wollte jedes Mal nach dem Frühstück eine Kanne grünen Tee bestellen. Die Servicekräfte sagten dann immer, es gäbe keine Kannen, nur Tassen. Wenn man jedoch bestimmt nach einer Kanne fragte, konnten sie diese doch bereitstellen. Das verstehe ich wirklich nicht. Da das Hotel wahrscheinlich nicht neu ist, hatte ich beim letzten Aufenthalt das Problem, dass der Abfluss im Badezimmer verstopft war, was zu einer ziemlich starken Überschwemmung führte. Es dauerte eine ganze Weile, bis jemand kam, um das Problem zu beheben. Die Geschwindigkeit des Services muss hier definitiv verbessert werden.

Zimmer – Meine dreiköpfige Familie hat hier übernachtet. Da es selten war, ein Zimmer für drei Personen zu finden, mussten wir nicht zwei Zimmer buchen. Es gab ein riesiges Bett und ein weiteres, normal großes Einzelbett. Die Kombination war ideal, weshalb ich mich für dieses Hotel entschieden habe. Ich blieb vier Nächte, und meine Familie war sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer war zwar praktisch, aber ich wusste nicht, wie man es benutzt. Ich versuchte nur, das Musikmenü auszuwählen. Außerdem war das Fenster im Zimmer sehr groß. Das Hotel liegt an einer Kreuzung, und die Aussicht war sehr weit. Badezimmer – Man kann baden. Obwohl wir nicht badeten, waren die Badekugeln auch gut. Frühstück – Das Frühstücksbuffet ist im Preis inbegriffen. Es gibt viele Auswahlmöglichkeiten, aber nicht alle sind in Ordnung. Manche Gerichte wie frittierte Gerichte, Frühlingszwiebelpfannkuchen und rote Wurst können weggelassen werden. Diese sind sehr schwierig. Unbedingt probieren sollte man Rinderfettsuppe, Instant-Gallenudeln und Kekse. Ich blieb vier Nächte und musste unbedingt Salat, Obst, Eier, Toast und Joghurt probieren. Es wird nicht langweilig, und man sollte vor dem Ausgehen ausreichend essen. Service: Wir kamen um 14:30 Uhr im Hotel an, eine halbe Stunde vor der offiziellen Check-in-Zeit, bekamen aber kein Zimmer. Wir waren etwas enttäuscht, da wir sehr hungrig waren. Danach war das Servicepersonal sehr professionell. Nach drei Tagen Aufenthalt gab es beispielsweise ein Problem mit der Toilette, das Wasser lief langsam ab. Sie kümmerten sich um die Reparatur und ermahnten uns, nicht zu viel Toilettenpapier in die Toilette zu werfen. Auch zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten boten das Hotelpersonal und der Fahrer einen guten Service. Außerdem fiel der AirPod meines Sohnes ins Zimmer. Wir suchten lange, konnten ihn aber nicht finden. Also gingen wir zurück in das Restaurant, in dem wir am Vorabend gewesen waren, und hinterließen dem Hotel eine Nachricht. Daraufhin erhielt das Hotel eine Nachricht, dass der AirPod nicht gefunden wurde. Am nächsten Tag fand das Reinigungspersonal unseren AirPod im Zimmer und legte ihn auf den Tisch. Er war verloren und wiedergefunden worden. Desinfektion – Nach zwei Tagen Aufenthalt erhielt ich eine Benachrichtigung, dass das Zimmer am dritten Tag desinfiziert würde, was ich sehr gut finde. Fitnessraum – Gehen Sie in den Fitnessraum im obersten Stockwerk. Acht hängen herunter, mit einem großen, raumhohen Fenster. Von dort aus können Sie die Landschaft von Taipeh sehen. Niemand ist da. Spielen Sie ein paar Minuten.

Das Taipei Marriott Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Dazhi Jiantan. Der Fußweg dauert etwa 10 Minuten. Am Tor befindet sich ein sehr auffälliges Schild. Sobald Sie das Zimmer im Taipei Marriott Hotel betreten, spüren Sie, dass Taipei Marriott eine sehr angenehme A**osphäre im Zimmer geschaffen hat. Auf der rechten Seite befinden sich Kleiderschränke und Kühlschränke. Das Frühstücksambiente ist recht elegant. Obwohl es nicht viele Mahlzeiten gibt, sind sie exquisit und köstlich. Es muss ein tolles Aufenthaltserlebnis sein.

Beautiful spacious room to stay, perfect for a group of 4! Love the scenery view, and like that the wet and dry area for the toilet is separated, you even get a long stretch of area for hanging your clothes and packing your luggage. The space was pleasant; however, the service staff did not meet expectations. We made a last-minute decision to check in one day late and inquired if the hotel would permit this. The initial staff member who answered the call declined our request, didn't bother to listen to our explanation well even after we explained that we would still cover the cost for the day we would not be occupying the room (you can tell she was annoyed and just not listening to us). Fortunately, we decided to call again later, and a different staff member agreed to accommodate our request for a delayed check-in.

Sweetme Hotspring Resort is a fantastic place to unwind and recharge. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from Xinbeitou Station and conveniently close to many restaurants. One of the highlights of the stay was the spa experience. Guests can enjoy both the private in-room hot spring and the public spa facilities. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Breakfast was another strong point, with a good selection of food to start the day right. Overall, Sweetme Hotspring Resort delivers a well-rounded experience with great amenities, a prime location, and a relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely come back again.

Heute bin ich von Kaohsiung nach Taipeh gereist, um an der Verleihung der Asia Pacific Pharmaceutical Innovation Awards teilzunehmen. Ich hatte ein Zimmer im Nangang Hanlai Hotel für eine Nacht gebucht. Das Zimmer war geräumig, das Bett hatte genau den richtigen Härtegrad, und ich habe wunderbar geschlafen. Die Getränke im Kühlschrank waren kostenlos, was ich sehr nett fand. Das Hotelpersonal war freundlich, zuvorkommend und professionell. Das orientalische Restaurant im dritten Stock liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Nangang Exhibition Centers, und das nahegelegene Einkaufszentrum ist ausgezeichnet. Ein fantastisches Hotel, absolut empfehlenswert!
