Let’s start with the highlights: the breakfast? Absolutely glorious. I’m talking next-level delicious. The beds? Comfy enough to make you consider skipping sightseeing just to stay tucked in. And the sauna? Yes please - the kind of warmth that feels like a full-body hug from a well-adjusted Scandinavian. Now for the slightly less fabulous: I discovered a bit of mold in the window, which I cleaned myself (you’re welcome, Comwell). Didn’t ruin my stay - just gave me a small DIY moment before coffee. The bathroom had a slightly plastic feel, a bit “budget spa” rather than “boutique hotel,” but hey - it worked fine and had good water pressure, so who’s really complaining? All in all, I’d come back. Comwell Kolding nails the essentials, and if you’re into excellent breakfasts and quality rest, you’re in good hands. Just maybe bring a cloth — just in case. 😄

The location was perfect!! 5 mins walking distance to Lalandia and Lego Land. We came with a car so it wasn't a big problem to get dinner in the city centre (5 mins). Breakfast was great with a lot of hand-made options. The downsides are that the room was incredibly warm like the other comments mentioned. We visited in September but still had to open the windows all the way to ventilate the room. Otherwise there was 0 ventilation. Attitude of some hotel staff was also a bit unfriendly. But it was fine for one night.

We had booked this hotel as a family of 5 for a weekend away. We chose this style of room to give us more space. So there were 7 beds in total. It is a clean but basic hotel and I would say quite expensive, nearly £200 a night. This did include a buffet breakfast, which was nice but limited hot drinks options. The staff were friendly and the lady replenished the food often. There is plenty of parking.

Kein Aufzug, wenn Sie nicht im Erdgeschoss bleiben. Carpark vor der Lobby begrenzt, aber kostenlosere Lotsen eine Minute entfernt. Keine Toiletten oder Zimmerausstattung zu kommentieren, erwarten Sie nicht einen 4- oder 5-Sterne-Hotelstandard. Aber insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt für eine Nacht oder zwei.

Die Lage des Gasthauses war leicht zugänglich, die Arbeiter waren sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Ich war nur enttäuscht über die Frühstückslage, die anders war als wir waren. Das bedeutet, jeden Morgen zum Frühstück zu fahren! Es ist ein sehr schöner Ort Fit Sportliebhaber.

It’s great that I arrived in the late evening and they’ve left an envelope with my name and the key inside 🙂 although I booked a dorm room, I got to be alone ! I would come back !

The service is good and helpful. We live in the annex building with great view. The breakfast is good.
