I recommended traveling to Ureshino bus center (not interchange*) by bus from Hakata bus terminal if you weren't driving. I stayed in their standard room type. Bathing at their shared onsen was an experience. The facility was very clean. Ureshino onsen water would be what you came here for. The amenities were nice too. They offered excellent breakfast at 2,200 yen. It was a buffet line using local ingredients. While in the area try Yococho, izakaya sampo, and buy some ureshino green tea.

I recently stayed at Hotel R9 and had a pleasant experience, giving it an overall rating of 4 out of 5. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for short stays like overnight visits. It was a nice hotel, located in a central location. Lots of amenities around and plenty of food. Comes with free onsen and breakfast.

The hotel located nearby higashi Karatsu station, and provides shuttle services (need to contact/book earlier) for return trips to the train station. Located just beside the river, the room has amazing view overlooking the river and bridges. Onsen is good but I wish there is outdoor onsen that can see the amzing sunset. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

We drove 1.5 hours from Hakata to this hotel, quick far away. The osen hotel is pretty large and have public and private osen bath to choose from. Originally we booked the room with hot spring both but have been checked into a different room with a separate bath tub only. The hotel insisted this is the same room type and need to charge additional charge to upgrade to the better room that can have a separate hot spring bath. I called Trip.com and they admitted that there is some confusion on the room type and has agreed to pay for the extra charge to upgrade to the better room. So finally we paid the upgrade charge and moved to the better room with the hot spring bath. So overall it was still a very good experience. Ich war zufrieden, da das Zimmer für eine japanische Unterkunft geräumig war. Die Aussicht aus dem Fenster ist schön und die Lage gut. Der Parkplatz ist ebenfalls großzügig bemessen, sodass das Parken mit einem Mietwagen bequem ist. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine Kaffeemaschine. Außerdem stehen Mikrowelle, Tee und Essstäbchen bereit, falls man nach dem Einkauf seine eigenen Essstäbchen vergessen hat. Es ist zwar eine Kleinigkeit, aber ich fand es gut, dass alles vorbereitet war. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass es in Ureshino, einem Kurort, kein großes öffentliches Bad gibt. Bezüglich der Bezahlung: Vor Ort wird kein Bargeld akzeptiert; nur Kartenzahlung ist möglich. Wir wussten das vorher und es war daher kein Problem. Bitte beachten Sie dies.

We chose to stay here because hotels in Fukuoka were very expensive, and since we had the JR Pass, this location right beside the Tosu station was super convenient. The room was very clean, and the facilities were great — especially the included breakfast! It was a wonderful chance to try local Japanese dishes, and I really enjoyed it. The breakfast starts as early as 6:30am, which was very thoughtful — I still remember rushing to catch the 6:50am train to Fukuoka after eating, and I even had 5 minutes to spare, haha! Staff were friendly and helpful, though English communication was a bit more limited — probably because it’s not a major station area. Still, everyone had a great attitude and tried their best. Overall, a very satisfying stay!

Das Zimmer war geräumig und komfortabel. Es war hell und gut beleuchtet, mit viel künstlichem Licht; selbst im zweiten Stock war es noch sonnendurchflutet. Der Spa-Bereich bietet gegen Gebühr private Bäder an, sodass Sie Ihren Spa-Bereich ganz für sich allein genießen können.

Sehr gutes Hotel, es gibt 16 Zimmer. Wir haben 2 Zimmer reserviert, 1 Zimmer ist ein warmes Zimmer im Freien, das der Meerblick gegenüber steht, 1 Zimmer ist ein schlaues Meereszimmer. Es ist ein zweite Schachtel, das Abendessen ist 﨑 🦀 groß, besonders gekohlt, sehr speziell. Die Hoteleinrichtungen sind auch gut, die Zimmer sind sehr groß, es gibt eine Pause. Das Einzige, was nicht ausreicht, ist Verkehr, kein öffentlicher Verkehr. Wir sind selbstfahrend und können das Hotel an jenem Tag auch an der nächsten Station transportieren.

The room size was decent, plenty of entertainment on Level 1 *some are not free* and a foot bath right in front of the hotel. Put some mosquito repellent, we didn't even get to sit more than 5 mins because of mosquitoes. Loved their dinner buffet. Thanks to the free alcoholic drinks we got to sample a few different types of sake. The food was good and for the breakfast French toast was the best. The dinner buffet timing was only 1.5 hours but it was more than enough for us. The room pricing isn’t cheap but it’s definitely worth the value if you just want to spend a quiet and relaxing evening inside the hotel after visiting some of the attractions around the area.
