I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with thoughtful details that made the experience even better. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. I really appreciated the complimentary water and the overall attention to guest comfort. The location is convenient, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Lotte Hotel Yangon is an outstanding place to stay. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well maintained, with spacious rooms and beautiful views of Inya Lake. The staff are extremely professional, friendly, and always ready to help, which makes the stay even more comfortable. The facilities are excellent—especially the gym, swimming pool, and breakfast selection. The location is also convenient, peaceful, and safe. The best value for money in a downtown hotel in the heart of Yangon city. Safe, impeccable service, easy & early check-in given, clean, comfortable beds, hot water bath tubs, a good breakfast with variety and of course the staff; welcoming & hard-working. The only problem I faced was 1 of the 6 nights I booked online was not registered with the hotel on Trip .com. That was rather strange, since I had a confirmed & paid document in black & white.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. It’s formerly known as Rosewood Yangon and now reopened for 8 months. Everything is excellent, very friendly, patient and helpful staff, extraordinary service. The hotel’s history dates back to 1927 so it’s absolutely a historical building. The decoration is very exquisite, breakfast is tasty and there are many choices. The location is also good and safe, very near to Sule Plaza, General Post Office and British Embassy. On terrace you can see the river view. I want to especially express my gratitude to Vanessa and Swar, they provided me with a lot of detailed information so I can know more about this hotel, this city and this country. Please make sure they can receive this feedback and my appreciation! Meanwhile, the front desk Moo Thaw, Luca showed me the hospitality. Next time I come to Yangon, I would consider choosing this hotel again, and also I will recommend it to my friends. Hope you can keep this level 😃

1. Während der Eincheckung wurden alle Gebührenoptionen für Frühstück nicht berücksichtigt. Die höchste Gebührengebühr für Frühstück wurde für die ersten 4 Frühstücken gebührt. Nachdem sie einen Manager für das, was angekündigt wurde, in Frage stellte, erklärte sie sich bereit, die Gebühren zu 17.50 USD zu erheben. (Für die ersten 4 Tage war 10.00 UAD höher. 2. Das Badezimmer Bad ist gefährlich montiert, um aus dem Duschrohr in Müsli zu kommen. Es ist zu hoch montiert. Keine Handfläche ist fest zu halten. Hotel setzte einen Hinweis, um vorsichtig zu sein. 3. Die letzte Rechnung fehlt an Details. Nur die Gesamtsumme. Keine Möglichkeit, zu überprüfen, ob die letzte Summe korrekt ist. Ich war in der Hure, zum Flughafen zu kommen, öffnete sie nicht die Kontrolle.

Meliá has a very good location, just opposite Inya Lake. While the interior design is simple and not very modern, the facilities and service are great. It would be nice if a sauna and jacuzzi were available and provide briefing while check in. The breakfast is amazing. I was surprised to see both a café counter and an ice cream counter during the breakfast session. However, they did not offer any complimentary service for birthday or anniversary requests.

Das Hotel war schön und die Damen an der Rezeption sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war zwar nicht groß, aber recht komfortabel und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Das WLAN war sehr langsam, aber das ist wohl typisch für Myanmar. Allerdings gab es kein Trinkwasser und keinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Stattdessen gab es jede Menge Merchandise-Artikel, die man im Hotel kaufen konnte, was ich ziemlich ungewöhnlich fand.

The Strand Yangon ⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎ ★★★ Leider verfiel das Hotel im Laufe der Jahre, bis in die 1980er Jahre, völlig. Amanresorts-Gründer Adrian Zecca erkannte jedoch seinen Wert und investierte in den Erhalt des historischen Gebäudes, indem er mit Renovierungsarbeiten begann. 1993 konnte er es erfolgreich wiederbeleben. Mit anderen Worten: Dieses Hotel ist ein Beweis für die Leidenschaft zweier Hotellegenden. Was wie Standardzimmer aussieht, ist satte 55 Quadratmeter groß! Tatsächlich sind alle 32 Zimmer des Hotels Suiten. The Strand Yangon Als das Hotel gebaut wurde, war Rangun (heute Yangon) kein beliebtes Reiseziel für ausländische Touristen, und es schien, als gäbe es keinen Bedarf für ein erstklassiges Hotel. Die Sarkies-Brüder glaubten jedoch, dass ein solcher Bedarf bald entstehen würde, und beschlossen daher, die Herausforderung anzunehmen, ein Hotel in Rangun zu führen. Vielleicht waren ihre Prognosen zu voreilig, denn das 1892 eröffnete Hotel war kein Erfolg. Das 1901 eröffnete The Strand Yangon entwickelte sich jedoch zu einem hochmodernen Hotel. Die vier Sarkis-Brüder, Armenier aus Isfahan, Persien, gründeten drei Hotels: das Raffles Hotel in Singapur, das E&O Hotel in Penang, Malaysia, und das Strand Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma).

This is honestly the best hotel in Myanmar. Travelled the world but honestly still the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in ever. It’s easily worth $500 a night. The housemaids are very detailed in what they do and everything is just so nice and in place. Just Perfect here.

Das Hotel selbst ist alt, daher sind auch die Zimmer alt, aber der Balkon in den oberen Stockwerken bietet eine schöne Aussicht und eine ruhige Atmosphäre. Der einzige Nachteil ist der gelegentliche Stromausfall für wenige Minuten, aber das ist angesichts der Umstände im Land unvermeidlich. Das Frühstück war auch gut, da ich es in Ruhe genießen konnte und das Essen nicht schlecht war. Während meines Aufenthalts fand eine Veranstaltung statt, die anscheinend eine Mitgliederversammlung des Golfclubs war, daher war die Lobby an diesem Morgen ziemlich überfüllt.
