Very clean hotel, probably coz it's newly opened only last year. Appreciate the wedding anniversary cake provided. Breakfast is superb. Only downside is we can hear the loud music at the adjacent room till 12pm and the corridor noise from other guests disturbing our peacetime.

Sehr zufrieden mit diesem Hotel. Zimmer ist sauber und sehr groß. Auch muss das Fitnesscenter im Niveau 1. Das Frühstück, das sie dienen, hat eine Vielzahl von Variationen und ist lecker. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Wir buchen das nächste Mal, wenn ich Batam besuche.

It’s not “just Batam” - this stay made the whole trip exciting. The location is absolutely perfect - walking distance to Grand Batam Mall, less than 10 minutes’ drive to Nagoya Mall, BCS, and DC Mall, and close to Harbourbay Terminal. Circle K right below the hotel, and Spa Central is just down the road. The service is amazing. Every staff member were trained well - smiling away and friendly. We even checked in late at night and received a queen-size bed, even though we booked two single beds. Breakfast spread was fantastic and made our mornings enjoyable. They had local specialties like Lontong Medan, Martabak Manis, four types of Jamu drinks, and keropoks. They also have a bar area and a smoking lounge as well. room was perfect. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was huge for a standard hotel room and included all the basic amenities. Extras like a coffee machine, chocolates in the fridge, and full glass windows were much appreciated. Smoking rooms are available, and they’ll deliver an ashtray on request. Overall, 10/10. I would 100% recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Großes Personal, Lage und ausgezeichnete Frühstücksverteilung! Das Hotel wird derzeit renoviert, um 152 Zimmer hinzuzufügen, aber es gab keine Lärm oder Störung! Die Zimmer sahen genau wie angekündigt und das Personal bereitete etwas Besonderes für uns. Zunächst war das Klimaanlage in unserem Zimmer ziemlich heiß, aber Tesa war schnell in der arrangierenden Techniker, um das Problem zu korrigieren, besonderes Dank! Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt!

Mein zweiter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel, anständige Lage, A2 nur neben der Tür, 3Min. zu Fuß zum Grand Batam Mall, Si Fang Yuan Dim Sum und unendliche Massage gerade im Gegenteil, kurze Spazierweiterung zu reinen, nach Arbeit und Frühjahrsmassage auch, Nicht laut in der Nacht für mein Zimmer und wir haben kostenlose Upgrade in der Suite während unseres Aufenthalts. Es war mein Geburtstag am letzten Tag meines Aufenthalts mit diesem Hotel. Ich bin überrascht, dass das Hotel einen Kuchen mit Kerzen bereitet, während ich meine BF habe. Danke für die warme Aktion an Ihren Gast, das Geburtstagssong und alle Wünsche, es macht meinen Geburtstag noch erinnerelicher. Danke für die Überraschungsarrangement, wir schätzten es.

We booked a family suite for 3 nights.  We selected the hotel based on the generally good reviews and mainly for its location.  1) Hotel Staff The front desk staff and the breakfast hall staff were friendly.  2) The Suite / Cleanliness / Housekeeping The suite was reasonably spacious (though a bit aged) and generally clean except for the dirt and dust at corners and underneath the furniture. Eg.  A thick layer of dust was found under the room phone and on the phone itself. Although we didn’t need to use the phone, it was placed next to the bed & pillows and that means breathing in the dust while we slept next to it. So we spent some time wiping the room and stuff with our own hand towels. The sink near the dining table was leaking, so it doesn’t serve any purpose other than to flood the dining area if we use it.  We did read about the leaking sink in an earlier review but thought it would have been resolved but obviously that was not the case.  The housekeeping is very lacking…. For a suite for 3 pax, we were given a small thin toilet roll on the 2nd day (less than half the thickness of those we buy from our supermarket).  That was really insufficient for 3 person.  We tried looking for the housekeeping team but they couldn’t be found. We had to use all the tissue paper that we brought with us on our trip as toilet tissue.  Also, there was no shower caps issued on our 2nd yay (2 shower caps were issued on day 1 but there were 3 of us!).  Out of the 3 bath towels issued, 1 was blackish brown with tattered edges. Fortunately we were prepared and brought our own disposable towels as we also read a review about the dirty/stained bath towels.  We ate at the breakfast hall on 2 mornings. The breakfast was rather limited with choices (not sure why someone previously reviewed that there was a good spread comparable to international hotels’ buffet…. Maybe he was lucky that day).  We observed flies on the pastries (as there were no downlighting preventing the flies from resting on the pastries).  But what surprised us was that the staff stationed at the pastry counter just looked at the flies and didn’t even bother to chase them away. Maybe he was tired of chasing them away since they will return.  3) Summary  Generally the hotel has nice friendly staff and a fantastic location with 2 shopping malls within walking distance. We also like that there was the A2 Foodcourt and many massage places nearby.  But we decided to forego our 3rd night stay in the suite as one of us was stressed about having to ration the use of toilet tissue and eating at the breakfast hall since we wouldn’t know whether any flies landed on the food earlier.   We supposed if we were to stay at Aston Inn Gideon in future, we would bring along sufficient toilet tissue, our own disposable bath towel & shower caps and avoided booking the suite (& the sink). It would have been even better if there was a choice to select rooms without hotel breakfast as we are not in the habit of sharing our food with flies 🤪

Wie immer hervorragend und perfekt für meine Bedürfnisse ... Nähe zu den Einrichtungen des Batam Center. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unschlagbar. Der Service des Personals war hervorragend, insbesondere Lina Ria beim Frühstück! Ich werde im August 2025 gerne wiederkommen.

Wir suchten nach einer kurzen Auszeit vom Stadtleben und ich glaube, wir haben den perfekten Ort gefunden! Vom ersten Moment an waren wir erstklassig gastfreundlich. Das Hotel bietet einen praktischen Transfer von und zur Fähre an, was alles sehr einfach gemacht hat. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen – es gab sogar einen Kuchen, Snacks und liebe Glückwünsche vom Team, da mein Partner Geburtstag hatte. Eine so aufmerksame Geste, die uns wirklich das Gefühl gab, etwas Besonderes zu sein. Die Lage ist traumhaft, direkt am Meer, und der Pool war definitiv ein Highlight. Auch das Essen hat uns sehr gut gefallen – es war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts köstlich. Wenn wir einen kleinen Verbesserungsvorschlag hätten, dann wäre es, in Zukunft mehr Aktivitäten vor Ort anzubieten. Aber alles in allem hatten wir eine wundervolle Zeit und können diesen Ort für einen entspannten Kurzurlaub wärmstens empfehlen! ❤️

Dieses Hotel ist wirklich ideal für einen erholsamen Wochenendurlaub. Wer übers Wochenende gut schlafen möchte, sollte hier besser nicht einchecken. In unserem Nebenzimmer wohnte eine Gruppe Urlauber, die die ganze Nacht bis 6 Uhr morgens lautstark scherzten und lachten. Wir mussten Ohrstöpsel aufsetzen, um überhaupt schlafen zu können. Die Rezeptionistin war hilfsbereit und bot uns einen Zimmerwechsel an. Das Frühstück war durchschnittlich. Es liefen viele Kinder herum. Trotzdem ist die Megal Mall zu Fuß erreichbar. Bei Langeweile gibt es in der Mall auch ein Kino. Das Hotel bietet Nackenrollen, eine große und eine kleine, zum Kuscheln.

Großer Aufenthalt im Allgemeinen. Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend in der Nähe der Mall, Massageplätze und anderer Bequemlichkeiten. Was am meisten herausgestellt war, wie freundlich und hilfsbereit das Personal war, so dass der gesamte Aufenthalt genießbar. Das Frühstück ist einfach erstaunlich (vor allem die dänische! Top Notch Qualität)
